Windows XP / Vista Setup
You should install the supplied software BEFORE in-
serting the Wireless Adapter.
Configuration
1. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive on your PC.
2. The autorun program should start automatically.
If it does not, please run autorun.exe under your CD-
ROM drive
3. In the autorun screen, click Utility to begin the
software installation.
Note: Screen captures shown in this guide are from Windows XP. Un-
less mentioned, there are no differences in Vista.

5. Install driver and LevelOne WLAN Utility

Note: If you choose to install driver only, then the device will use
the wireless configuration tool built into Windows Operating Sys-
tem.

Choose whether you want to use the LevelOne Wire-
less LAN Utility, or the wireless configuration tool built
into Windows XP.

7. Follow the on screen instructions and step through the
installation procedures.
8. After installation, the LevelOne Wireless LAN Utility
icon should appear in your taskbar.
Note: The red cross over the icon indicates the USB Adapter is not
plugged in.
9. Now insert the Wireless USB Adapter into your com-

prompt and then install the device automatically.

11. When the Setup wizard is complete, the LevelOne
icon in the system tray will indicate that the Wireless
USB Adapter is connected and functioning correctly.

Windows Utility
You can click Start - Programs - LevelOne WUA-0603 -
LevelOne N Wireless Utility to open the application. The
utility opens to the Network tab page, as shown below.
To Connect to a Wireless Network
Click the name of the wireless network to which you want
to connect, and then click Add to Profile.
You can click the name of the wireless network to which
you want to connect, and then click Connect button.

Konfiguration
1. Legen Sie die CD in das CD-ROM-Laufwerk Ihres
PCs ein.

6. Nur Windows XP; bitte überspringen, wenn Sie mit
Windows Vista arbeiten!
Wählen Sie, ob Sie das LevelOne-WLAN-
Dienstprogramm oder das in Windows XP integrierte
Konfigurationsprogramm nutzen möchten.
Klicken Sie zum Fortsetzen auf Next (Weiter).

7. Lassen Sie sich von den Anweisungen auf dem
Bildschirm durch die einzelnen Installationsschritte
führen.
8. Nach der Installation sollte das Symbol des LevelOne-
WLAN-Dienstprogramms in der Taskleiste angezeigt
werden.
Hinweis: Wenn das Symbol rot durchgestrichen erscheint, ist der
USB-Adapter nicht angeschlossen.
9. Schließen Sie nun den WLAN-USB-Adapter an einen
freien USB-Port Ihres Computers an.

10. Der Windows-Assistent zur Installation von
Treibersoftware beginnt nun mit der automatischen
Treiberinstallation.

11. Nach Abschluss des Einrichtungsassistenten zeigt das
LevelOne-Symbol im Systemtray an, dass der WLAN-
USB-Adapter angeschlossen ist und ordnungsgemäß
funktioniert.

Windows-Dienstprogramm
Zum Starten der Anwendung klicken Sie auf Start >(Alle)
Programs (Programme) > LevelOne WUA-0603 >
LevelOne N Wireless Utility (LevelOne-WLAN-
Dienstprogramm). Die Software öffnet die nachstehend
gezeigte Network (Netzwerk)-Seite.
So verbinden Sie sich mit einem drahtlosen
Netzwerk
Klicken Sie den Namen des gewünschten Netzwerks an,
klicken Sie dann auf Add to Profile (Zum Profil
hinzufügen).
Anschließend klicken Sie den Namen des gewünschten
drahtlosen Netzwerks an und klicken zum Verbinden auf
die Connect (Verbinden)-Schaltfläche.
