1.1 Sicherheitshinweise
Vorsicht:
Verletzungsgefahr!
Für die Montage sind Werkzeuge nötig.
Stromschlaggefahr!
Die Anschlussdrähte niemals in eine Steckdose einführen! Verwendetes Versorgungsgerät (Transformator, Netzteil)
regelmäßig auf Schäden überprüfen. Bei Schäden am Versorgungsgerät dieses keinesfalls benutzen!
Alle Anschluss- und Montagearbeiten nur bei abgeschalteter Betriebsspannung durchführen! Ausschließlich nach
VDE/EN gefertigte Modellbahntransformatoren verwenden! Stromquellen unbedingt so absichern, dass es bei einem
Kurzschluss nicht zum Kabelbrand kommen kann.
1.2 Das Produkt richtig verwenden
Dieses Produkt ist bestimmt:
- Zum Einbau in Modelleisenbahnanlagen und Dioramen.
- Zum Anschluss an einen Modellbahntransformator (z. B. Art. 5200) bzw. an eine Modellbahnsteuerung mit zugelassener
Betriebsspannung.
- Zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden haftet
der Hersteller nicht.
1.3 Packungsinhalt überprüfen
Kontrollieren Sie den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit:
- Schweißlicht Steuerelektronik
- 1 blaue LED mit Anschlusskabeln
- 2 Schrauben
- 1 grüner Stecker
- 1 schwarzer Stecker
- 1 brauner Stecker
- 1 gelber Stecker

2. Einleitung
Das Schweißlicht, Art. 5020 von Viessmann bietet einen noch nie da gewesenen realistischen Effekt eines flackerndem
Schweißlicht. Eine blaue leuchtende LED flackert jeweils in unterschiedlichem Rhythmus, sodass dem Betrachter der
täuschend echte Eindruck von Schweißlicht suggeriert wird. Für einen besonders realistischen Effekt sorgt der eingebaute
Intervallschalter, der das Flackern automatisch durch Pausen unterbricht. Folgende Einsatzorte bieten sich an: Werkstätten
(z. B. Vollmer Art. 45602 oder 43682), Fabrikhallen (z. B. kibri Art. 39813), Industriehallen (z. B. kibri Art. 39250).
3. Anschluss
Der richtige Anschluss des Schweißlichts, Art. 5020 ist in Abb. 1 dargestellt. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt mit Hilfe von
Steckern über die beiden oberen Anschlüsse des Moduls (braun und gelb). Die LED wird ebenfalls mit Hilfe der bei-
liegenden Stecker mit dem Modul verbunden. Das grüne und das schwarze Kabel werden mit dem zugehörigem Stecker
in die zugehörige Buchse gesteckt, die Farben sind auf dem Modul gekennzeichnet.
4. Einbau
Die Befestigung des Bausteins erfolgt mit den beiliegenden Schrauben.
5. Umbau zur Verwendung mit einer Glühlampe
Es gibt die Möglichkeit, dieses Produkt zur Verwendung einer 12 V / 50 mA Glühlampe umzubauen. Gehen Sie dazu
wie folgt vor:
- Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse.
- Löten Sie die in Abb. 2 mit A markierten Lötpunkte zusammen.
- Empfehlung: Schneiden Sie sich nach dem Umbau die Gehäusebedruckung des Zusatzzettels aus und kleben diese
auf das Gehäuse.
- Schließen Sie das Gehäuse wieder.

1.1 Safety instructions
Caution:
Risk of injury!
Tools are required for installation.
Electrical hazard!
Never put the connecting wires into a power socket! Regularly examine the transformer for damage. In case of any
damage, do not use the transformer.
Make sure that the power supply is switched off when you mount the device and connect the cables! Only use VDE/
EN tested special model train transformers for the power supply! The power sources must be protected to avoid the
risk of burning cables.
1.2 Using the product for its correct purpose
This product is intended:
- For installation in model train layouts and dioramas.
- For connection to an authorized model train transformer (e. g. item 5200) or a digital command station.
- For operation in dry rooms only.
Using the product for any other purpose is not approved and is considered inappropriate. The manufacturer is not
responsible for any damage resulting from the improper use of this product.
1.3 Checking the package contents
Check the contents of the package for completeness:
- Welding light control electronics
- 1 blue LED with connection cables
- 2 screws
- 1 green plug
- 1 black plug
- 1 brown plug
- 1 yellow plug

2. Introduction
The welding light, item 5020 from Viessmann offers an unprecedented realistic effect of a welding light. A blue LED is
flickering in different rhythms, suggesting the observer a striking real impression of welding light. The flickering intensity
is infinitely variable and can be adjusted to your own taste and to the requirements of the application. Below you will find
some typical applications: Workshops (e. g. Vollmer items 45602 or 43682), factory buildings (e. g. kibri item 39813),
industrial halls (e. g. kibri item 39250)
3. Connection
The correct connection of the welding light, item 5020 is shown in fig. 1. The unit is powered by Viessmann plugs to the
upper two socket connectors of the module (brown and yellow). The LED is connected to the module using the included
plugs. The green and red cables with their respective plug are plugged into the designated socket. The colours are
marked on the module.
4. Mounting
Fasten the module with the enclosed screws.
5. Conversion for usage with a light bulb
There is the possibility to convert this product for usage with a 12 V / 50 mA light bulb. To do this, proceed as follows:
- Open the housing.
- Solder the soldering points marked with A in fig. 2 together.
- Recommendation: After conversion, cut out the housing imprint of the additional sheet and glue it onto the housing.
- Close the housing again.
