Safety precautions
Before attempting to use this ghd hairdryer for the safety of both yourself and others, please read
the safety precautions set out below carefully and follow them, without exception, at all times
when using your ghd hairdryer.
Handling your ghd hairdryer
The ghd hairdryer is a high performance product therefore please ensure that the rear lter is
regularly cleaned (as described in this safety guide) to ensure optimum airow (as described in
this safety guide). Do not insert foreign objects, paint, burn or disassemble your ghd hairdryer.
Do not use your ghd hairdryer if it has been damaged – for example if the dryer casing is
cracked. If your product is damaged through misuse or abuse, this will not be covered under
your guarantee. This does not aect your statutory rights.

capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved, by a person

CAUTION:
Never use the ghd hairdryer
with wet hands, in, or near water or
near baths, basins or other receptacles
containing water (or any other liquid).
Always inspect your ghd hairdryer before use, and do not
use it if it is damaged. If the power cord or plug is damaged,
contact Jemella Ltd. The supply cord cannot be replaced.
Jemella Ltd will replace the product free of charge only if it is
within warranty.
To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. Do not use if the cord is damaged.
2. Do not pull or strain the power cord and do not unplug by pulling on the cord, rather disconnect the ghd
hairdryer by isolating the mains switch and then by removing the plug.
3. Do not use an electrical extension lead in conjunction with the ghd hairdryer.
4. Do not use at temperatures below 5°C and above 35°C.
5. Only use with ghd supplied accessories such as the ghd concentrator nozzle.
6. Hold the ghd hairdryer by the handle; do not hold by the casing or concentrator nozzle, which can be hot.
7. Never place the ghd hairdryer on any heat sensitive surface or cover it whilst in or immediately after use.

IMPORTANT: This ghd hairdryer is designed for 220-240V , 50Hz. Do not use with any other
power supplies other than that specied on the rating plate. Always check that the voltage of your
electricity supply matches the voltage of your ghd hairdryer.

the electrical supply to 240V
from a dierent source.
2. Always ensure that your appliance is connected to a properly earthed
power supply. Your ghd product is a class II electrical appliance.
3. Any error when connecting the ghd hairdryer can cause irreparable harm,

4. This appliance incorporates an earth connection for functional purposes only.

The ghd hairdryer must be unplugged from the mains socket;
1. Before cleaning and maintenance procedures.

The ghd hairdryer is equipped with a heat-sensitive safety cut out device. In the event of
overheating (for example if the rear lter is blocked), the dryer’s heater will stop automatically.
This will cause the temperature of the heater to become cold and hot intermittently. Isolate the
dryer from the mains supply and clean the lter.
If problems persist, or your ghd hairdryer has broken or does not work correctly, immediately stop
using your hairdryer and contact ghd (see Contact Details).
Your ghd hairdryer can only be repaired using specialist tools and by qualied experts at ghd.
CAUTION: Failure to comply with these safety precautions may result in electric shock or
other injuries!
Cool Shot Button: The Cool Shot Button can be
switched on at any setting. It’s ideal to x your style
and shape your look.
Nozzles: There is 1 concentrator nozzle 85mm wide.
The t of a cold nozzle could be tight, particularly
when the dryer and the nozzle are new.
The upper switch on the back of the handle is for
temperature setting:
= Maximum heat
= Medium heat
= Cold air
The lower switch on the back of the handle is to set the
fan speed:
= Max Speed
= Medium Speed

Any temperature and speed setting can be combined.

1. After washing your hair, towel-dry it thoroughly.
2. Do not allow excess water from your hair or any other source to come into contact with the ghd hairdryer.
3. For faster drying, use the ghd hairdryer without the styling nozzle.
4. Never cover the blower or intake opening.
5. Ensure that the air inlet lter is not and does not become blocked with u or hair.
6. When drying or styling, do not allow any of your hair to cover or come into contact with the
air inlet lter at the back of your dryer.

In the unlikely event that your ghd product does not operate correctly, check that the ghd product and mains
power supply are switched on, and that power is available.
For UK plugs, please ensure that the tted fuse is intact and functioning; if it is not replace it with an
identically rated British Standard Fuse.

6. Always use the ghd hairdryer with the genuine ghd lter.
7. Never operate the ghd hairdryer without a lter attached.
storage
1. Always allow the ghd hairdryer to cool down before storing away.
2. When the ghd hairdryer has cooled down, fold the power cord in the same way as it was rst
delivered in its packaging. Do not wrap the power cord around the ghd hairdryer as this can
strain the cord and cause premature power cord failure.
Rotate the ring with the air inlet lter
counterclockwise and then remove.
Push out metal lter from rear housing.
Rinse and dry the lter or take a soft
brush and gently remove any dust and hair
from it. After cleaning the lter, re-attach
and secure by rotating clockwise.

1. Trocknen Sie Ihre Haare nach dem Waschen mit einem Handtuch gründlich ab.
2. Achten Sie darauf, dass kein überschüssiges Wasser aus Ihren Haaren oder von einer anderen

3. Für ein schnelleres Trocknen, verwenden Sie den ghd Haartrockner ohne die Zentrierdüsen.
4. Verdecken Sie niemals das Gebläse oder den Lufteinlass.
5. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Luftlter nicht durch Flusen oder Haare blockiert werden kann
oder ist.
6. Achten Sie beim Trocknen oder Stylen darauf, dass Ihre Haare nicht mit dem Luftlter auf der
Rückseite des Trockners in Kontakt kommen.
Kaltschalter: Der Kaltschalter kann jederzeit
bei jeder Einstellung eingeschaltet werden.

Zentrierdüsen: Es gibt 1 Zentrierdüse
mit 85mm Breite. Der Sitz einer kalten
Zentrierdüse kann recht fest sein, besonders
wenn der Haartrockner und die Düse neu sind.
Der obere Schalter auf der Rückseite des
Gris ist für die Temperatureinstellung:

Alle Temperaturen und Geschwindigkeiten
können kombiniert werden. Die Funktion der
Ionen-Technologie ist immer eingeschaltet.
Drehen Sie den Ring mit dem Luftlter
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn und entfernen
Sie ihn dann.
Drücken Sie den Metalllter aus dem
hinteren Gehäuse. Spülen Sie den Filter
unter laufendem Wasser ab und trocknen

1. Lassen Sie den ghd Haartrockner immer vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie ihn weglegen.
2. Wenn der ghd Haartrockner abgekühlt ist, legen Sie das Netzkabel so zusammen, wie es beim
ersten Mal in der Lieferverpackung war. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um den ghd Haartrockner,

Die ghd Deutschland GmbH, Leuschner Str. 43, 70176 Stuttgart (nachfolgend „ghd“ oder
„Hersteller“) garantiert dem Endkunden (nachfolgend „Kunde“) nach Maßgabe der nachfolgenden
Bestimmungen für einen Zeitraum von 1 Jahr dem Kaufdatum (Garantiefrist), dass das Produkt
bei Übergabe frei von Material- oder Verarbeitungsfehlern war (Beschaenheitsgarantie).

Uso del secador de pelo ghd
El secador de pelo ghd es un producto de alto rendimiento, por favor, asegúrese de que el ltro
posterior se limpia con regularidad para garantizar el ujo de aire óptimo (tal y como se describe
en esta guía de seguridad). No introduzca ningún objeto extraño, pintura, ni queme o desmonte
el secador de pelo ghd. No utilice el secador de pelo ghd si se ha dañado - ni por ejemplo, si la
carcasa exterior del secador está agrietada. Si el producto está dañado por mal uso o abuso de
la herramienta, no estará cubierto por la garantía. Esto no afecta a su derechos legales.

4. No utilizar a temperaturas inferiores a 5 º C ni superiores a 35 ° C.
5. Utilice sólo los accesorios suministrados por ghd como las boquillas o difusor ghd.
6. Sostenga el secador de pelo ghd por el mango, no lo sostenga por la carcasa o la boquilla, que puede

expertos cualicados en ghd.
Botón de aire frío: el botón de aire frío puede ser
conectado en cualquier momento. Es ideal para jar
el estilo y dar forma a tu look.
Boquillas: hay 1 boquilla de 85 mm de ancho.
El ajuste de la boquilla en frío puede resultar difícil,
particularmente cuando el secador y la boquilla
sean nuevos.
El interruptor superior de la parte posterior de la
empuñadura es para el ajuste de temperatura:
= Calor máximo
= Calor Medio
= Aire frío
El interruptor inferior de la parte posterior de la
empuñadura es para establecer la velocidad del ventilador:

limpieza del secador de pelo ghd
1. Para asegurarse de que su secador de pelo ghd funciona a la máxima eciencia,

almacenamiento
1. Deje enfriar siempre el secador de pelo ghd antes de guardarlo.
2. Cuando el secador de pelo ghd se haya enfriado, doble el cable de alimentación de la misma
forma como se presenta en su embalaje original. No enrolle el cable de alimentación alrededor
del secador de pelo ghd ya que esto puede dañar el cable provocando un fallo prematuro del
cordón de alimentación.
Gire el anillo con el ltro de entrada de aire
hacia la izquierda y luego retire.
Empuje y saque el ltro metálico de su
ubicación posterior. Enjuague y seque el
ltro o cepíllelo suavemente retirando con
cuidado todo el polvo y restos de cabello.
Después de limpiar el ltro de entrada de
aire, vuélvalo a colocar y asegúrelo girando
en el sentido del reloj.

di istruzioni). Non inserire corpi estranei, non verniciare, bruciare o smontare l’asciugacapelli ghd.
Non utilizzare l’asciugacapelli se ha subito dei danni – per esempio se il corpo esterno è rotto.
Se il tuo prodotto è stato danneggiato per uso improprio, non sarà coperto dalla garanzia. Quanto
indicato lascia impregiudicati i vostri diritti legali.

1. Non utilizzare se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato.
2. Non tirare o tendere il cavo di alimentazione e non staccare la spina tirando il cavo, ma scollegare
l’asciugacapelli ghd isolando l’interruttore principale e scollegando quindi la spina.
3. Non utilizzare una prolunga con l’asciugacapelli ghd.
4. Non utilizzare a temperature al di sotto dei 5°C e al di sopra dei 35°C.

ghd aura è dotato di un dispositivo di sicurezza di arresto automatico sensibile al calore. Nel
caso di surriscaldamento (ad esempio se il ltro posteriore è bloccato) la componente riscaldante
dell’asciugacapelli ghd si arresterà automaticamente. Questo farà sì che la temperatura
della componente riscaldante diventi fredda e calda a intermittenza. Isolare l’asciugacapelli

Bottone getto d’aria fredda: il getto d’aria fredda
può essere attivato in ogni momento ed è l’ideale per
ssare la tua acconciatura e modellare il tuo look.
Beccucci: Nella confezione è incluso
1 beccuccio largo 85mm. L’inserimento del beccuccio
freddo può essere un po’ più dicoltoso soprattutto
quando l’asciugacapelli ed il beccuccio sono nuovi.
Il bottone in alto sul retro dell’impugnatura serve
per impostare la temperatura desiderata:
= Calore massimo
= Calore medio
= Aria fredda
Il bottone in basso sul retro dell’impugnatura serve per
impostare la potenza del getto d’aria:
= Velocità massima
= Velocità media
= Spento
Le temperature e le velocità possono essere combinate
secondo le esigenze. La tecnologia a ioni è sempre
in funzione.

utilizzo dell’asciugacapelli ghd
1. Dopo aver lavato i capelli, tamponarli accuratamente con un asciugamano.
2. Attenzione a non far colare l’acqua in eccesso dai capelli o da altre parti sull’asciugacapelli ghd.
3. Per un’asciugatura rapida utilizzare l’asciugacapelli ghd senza il beccuccio per la piega.
4. Non coprire mai in nessun modo né il bocchettone per l’uscita dell’aria, né quello d’immissione dell’aria.
5. Assicurarsi che il ltro d’immissione dell’aria dell’asciugacapelli non sia bloccato da capelli o polvere.
6. Durante l’asciugatura e l’acconciatura, fare attenzione che i capelli non coprano o entrino in contatto con
il ltro d’ingresso dell’aria sul retro dell’asciugacapelli.

Questo asciugacapelli elettrico deve essere utilizzato solamente per asciugare e modellare i capelli e non può
essere utilizzato per altri scopi. Tutti i prodotti elettrici ghd sono controllati singolarmente negli stabilimenti
di produzione prima di essere venduti. Tuttavia se l’apparecchio dovesse presentare qualche difetto di
funzionamento o nei materiali entro 2 (due) anni dalla data di acquisto eettuato dal consumatore o entro 1
(uno) anno in caso di acquisto eettuato dal professionista, ghd a sua sola discrezione sostituirà il
prodotto senza alcun costo, con lo stesso prodotto o con uno equivalente. Il prodotto con il quale viene
sostituito l’apparecchio danneggiato acquisisce la rimanente garanzia del prodotto originario o una garanzia
di 180 giorni. Il prodotto dato in sostituzione diventa di Vostra proprietà e il prodotto sostituito diventa di
proprietà di ghd.
Per richiedere un intervento in garanzia vistare il sito “ghdhair.com/it/returns” e
seguire le istruzioni sullo schermo per inviare l’apparecchio, allegando la prova
d’acquisto in originale, scontrino e/o fattura scale. Se non vi fosse possibile visitare
il nostro sito internet potrete inviare il prodotto ghd sempre con la prova d’acquisto
in originale, scontrino e/o fattura scale, a ghd Italia-Assistenza, Via XX Settembre
98, 50129 Firenze, inserendo il prodotto in una scatola resistente o in una busta
imbottita, indicando i Vs. recapiti completi (indirizzo, codice scale e numero
telefonico) e una descrizione dell’asserito difetto e/o guasto.
Consigliamo pertanto di conservare sempre la prova d’acquisto in un luogo sicuro. La presente garanzia
si applica esclusivamente ai prodotti ghd originali acquistati presso centri e/o rivenditori autorizzati ghd o
sul sito uciale ghd e non copre prodotti riparati o per cui è stata richiesta assistenza da parte di tecnici o
rappresentanti non appartenenti a ghd, o per cui sono state eettuate riparazioni con una o più parti non
originali o non autorizzate da ghd. La presente garanzia decade in caso di numeri di serie o di identicazione
cancellati, danneggiati o modicati.
Questa garanzia lascia impregiudicati i diritti di cui il consumatore/acquirente del prodotto è titolare ai sensi
del Dlgs. 06.09.2005 Nr. 206 (ex Dlgs 2.02.2002 Nr. 24 che ha attuato la Direttiva 1999/44/CE) denito
Codice del Consumo, con esclusione degli acquisti eettuati dal professionista per cui vale la garanzia di
legge di 1 (uno) anno dalla data di acquisto del prodotto.

pulizia dell’asciugacapelli ghd
1. Per garantire il funzionamento eciente dell’asciugacapelli ghd assicurarsi
sempre che il ltro posteriore venga pulito regolarmente. Qualsiasi
danneggiamento causato dall’inosservanza delle seguenti istruzioni di pulizia
non sarà coperto dalla garanzia.
2. Per eettuare le operazioni di pulizia staccare prima la spina dell’asciugacapelli dalla presa
di corrente.
3. Non immergere mai l’apparecchio nell’acqua.
4. Non utilizzare vaporizzatori o macchinari per la pulizia a vapore.
5. Pulire le parti esterne dell’asciugacapelli ghd con un panno umido. Non usare prodotti
abrasivi o corrosivi.
6. Usare sempre l’asciugacapelli ghd insieme al suo ltro originale ghd.
7. Non accendere mai l’asciugacapelli ghd senza il ltro inserito.
conservazione dell’apparecchio
1. Prima di riporre l’asciugacapelli ghd attendere che l’apparecchio si sia rareddato.
2. Non appena l’asciugacapelli si è rareddato, piegare il cavo di alimentazione come
era posizionato nella confezione al momento dell’acquisto. Non avvolgere il cavo di
alimentazione attorno all’asciugacapelli perché il cavo di alimentazione potrebbe danneggiarsi
prematuramente.
Ruotare il coperchio del ltro in senso
antiorario e rimuoverlo.
Tirare fuori il ltro in metallo dal coperchio
posteriore. Sciacquarlo e asciugarlo o
prendere uno spazzolino morbido
e rimuovere delicatamente residui di
polvere e capelli dal ltro. Dopo aver
pulito il ltro, riposizionare il coperchio
sull’asciugacapelli e ruotare in
senso orario per bloccarlo.

contraddizione con le misure tecniche e/o di sicurezza richieste nel paese in cui viene utilizzato
l’apparecchio.

essere smaltito con altri riuti domestici o commerciali al termine del suo ciclo di vita.

Hantering av din ghd fön
ghd fönen är en högpresterande produkt, se därför till att det bakre ltret rengörs regelbundet
(enligt beskrivningen i denna säkerhetsguide) för att säkerställa optimalt luftöde (som beskrivs
i denna säkerhetsguide). Lägg inte in främmande föremål, måla, bränn eller demontera din ghd
fön. Använd inte din ghd fön om den har blivit skadad - till exempel om torkhöljet är knäckt. Om
din produkt är skadad genom felaktig användning eller missbruk omfattas inte garantin. Detta
påverkar inte dina lagliga rättigheter.
