GENERALITÀ
Lo scuotiolive è un utensile elettromeccanico
alimentato a batterie destinato alla raccolta di
olive, nocciole, noci, castagne e qualsiasi altro
frutto che può essere rimosso dall’albero per
scuotimento e raccolto sul terreno.
L’unità di potenza è alimentata tramite batterie da
12V (non fornite con la macchina).
NORME DI SICUREZZA GENERALI
1.Lo scuotitore non può essere usato da persone
sotto l’effetto di alcol, droghe o farmaci che ne
limitino l’attenzione e la prontezza di riflessi.
2.L’utilizzo dello scuotitore è consentito solo a
persone che conoscono le istruzioni per l’uso
e addestrate.
3.Tenere tutti gli organi in movimento lontani
dal viso.
4.Prima di qualsiasi manutenzione, spegnere lo
scuotitore e scollegare il cavo di alimentazione
dalla batteria
5.Utilizzare l’attrezzo solo per gli scopi indicati
nel paragrafo “generalità”. Ogni altro utilizzo e
da considerarsi improprio e quindi pericoloso.
6.Quando l’attrezzo non viene utilizzato, spegne-
re l’interruttore ON/OFF.
7.Lo scuotitore deve essere equipaggiato con
gli attrezzi consigliati dal costruttore
8.Controllare frequentemente gli utensili durante
il lavoro e sostituirli nel caso appaiano segni di
danneggiamenti.
10.Tenere in considerazione l’ambiente dell’area
di lavoro.

11.Non utilizzare la macchina in ambienti dove
c’è pericolo di esplosioni, vicino a liquidi o gas
infiammabili. Non esporre la macchina alla
pioggia. Non utilizzare la macchina in locali
umidi o bagnati.
Attenzione, la macchina non è stata progettata
per fornire protezioni contro lo Shock elettrico
nel caso di contatto con linee elettriche sopra-
elevate ( mantenere la distanza minima di 10
metri da tutti gli impianti elettrici). Evitare il
contatto del corpo con superfici collegate a
massa (tubi, tralicci, piloni recinzioni, ecc.).
12.Tenere lontano bambini e visitatori.
Bambini e visitatori devono essere mantenuti
lontani dall’area di lavoro e non devono toccare
l’utensile.
13.Immagazzinaggio della macchina.
Quando non vengono utilizzati, gli utensili van-
no riposti in un luogo asciutto, in alto oppure
in un luogo chiuso a chiave, fuori dalla portata
dei bambini.
14.Utilizzare idonei mezzi di protezione indivi-
duale.
Utilizzare occhiali di protezione, scarpe di
protezione, guanti di protezione e protezioni
per l’udito e la testa.
15.Trasporto della macchina.
Trasportare la macchina spenta utilizzando le
impugnature. Tenere le dita lontane dall’inter-
ruttore.
16.Non strattonare il cavo.
Non trasportare mai la macchina prendendola
per il cavo. Tenere il cavo lontano da fonti di
calore, da olio e spigoli.
17.Lavorare in sicurezza.
Prima di iniziare a lavorare, assicurarsi che l’a-
rea di lavoro non sia scivolosa e permetta una
sufficiente libertà di movimento. Non utilizzare
scale o altri mezzi di sostegno che possano
compromettere l’equilibrio dell’operatore.
18. Evitare movimenti insicuri.
Mantenere sempre un giusto appoggio ed un
giusto bilanciamento.
19.Conservare la macchina con cura.
Controllare periodicamente il cavo della mac-
china e, qualora fosse danneggiato, provvedere
alla riparazione presso un centro assistenza
autorizzato. Attenersi alle istruzioni per la
lubrificazione ed il cambio degli accessori.
Mantenere le maniglie asciutte e pulite.
20.Rimozione di chiavi.
Prima dell’utilizzo, accertarsi sempre di aver
rimosso ogni tipo di utensile dall’apparecchio.
21.Evitare accensioni involontarie.
Mai trasportare la macchina collegata tenendo
le dita sull’interruttore di accensione. Assi-
curarsi che l’ interruttore sia in posizione off
quando viene collegata.
22.Non distrarsi mai.
Fare attenzione a ciò che si sta facendo. Usare
il buon senso. Non usare la macchina quando
ci si sente stanchi.
23.Attenzione!
L’utilizzo di accessori diversi da quelli consiglia-
ti nel presente manuale istruzioni può essere
causa di infortuni.
24.Far riparare l’apparecchio da personale
qualificato.
Questo elettroutensile è conforme ai requisiti di
sicurezza corrispondenti. Le riparazioni vanno
eseguite da personale qualificato utilizzando
parti di ricambio originali. In caso contrario,
l’utente si può trovare in serio pericolo.
25.Alimentazione.
Collegare la macchina ad una batteria con
tensione corretta. Accertarsi che la tensione
della batteria corrisponda con quella indicata
sulla targhetta dell’apparecchio.
26.Non utilizzare la macchina nel caso in cui
sia danneggiata, regolata in maniera errata,
oppure assemblata in maniera incompleta e
non sicura. Non utilizzare la macchina se la
leva di accensione non funziona correttamente.
Non eseguire alcuna riparazione sui pulsanti
elettrici, ma far controllare la macchina presso
un centro assistenza autorizzato.
27.Non eseguire operazioni al di fuori della
propria competenza o esperienza.
28.Non utilizzare la macchina con una sola
mano! Questo può causare seri infortuni alle
persone che lo stanno aiutando e alle persone
presenti nell’area. La macchina è stata conce-
pita per essere utilizzata con entrambe le mani.
29. La macchina è concepita per un uso dome-
stico occasionale. Non è stata realizzata per
lavori pesanti e continuativi.
30.Non utilizzare prolunghe per il cavo elettrico
di nessun tipo
ISTRUZIONI PER IL MONTAGGIO
Questo utensile è stato concepito per l’utilizzo
domestico e non dovrebbe essere utilizzato per
lavori pesanti o per attività commerciali.
ATTENZIONE! Prima di effettuare qualsiasi
lavoro sull’apparecchio staccate la batteria.
ATTENZIONE! Ogni intervento di montaggio
e manutenzione deve essere eseguito da un

operatore che abbia i requisiti fisici ed intel-
lettivi necessari.
COLLEGAMENTO DEL CAVO DI ALIMENTAZIONE
(9, Fig.A)
Prima di utilizzare la macchina è necessario
connettere il cavo di alimentazione tramite il
connettore a vite (2, Fig.A).
Prestate attenzione alle guide presenti sul
connettore mettendo in corrispondenza quelle
dello spinotto maschio con quelle dello spinotto
femmina.
Inserite i due spinotti, quindi avvitate la ghiera
di sicurezza.
REGOLAZIONE DELL’ASTA TELESCOPICA (5, Fig.A)
Allentare la ghiera (7, Fig.A) ruotandola in senso
antiorario.
Allungare l’asta nella misura desiderata.
Chiudere la ghiera ruotando in senso orario.
UTILIZZO DELLA MACCHINA
N.B. Prima di iniziare ad operare con la macchi-
na, è obbligatorio indossare adeguato abbiglia-
mento di sicurezza
- Posizionare l’interruttore(1, Fig.A) su 0/OFF
- Connettere le pinze della macchina(3 Fig.A)
ai poli della batteria da 12 V facendo bene
attenzione a rispettare le polarità(colore rosso
polo positivo +, colore nero polo negativo -).
- Disporre i pettini oscillanti lontani da persone e
animali ed afferrare saldamente l’impugnatura
posteriore e l’asta.
- Avvicinare con cautela i pettini oscillanti alla
pianta.
- Accendere la macchina tramite l’interruttore
di accensione(1 Fig.A) ed iniziare a lavorare.
Evitate di caricare eccessivamente la
macchina in modo da migliorare l’efficienza
dello scuotimento ed evitare eventuali guasti.
- Per arrestare la macchina riportare l’interruttore
sulla posizione 0/OFF.
ATTENZIONE! Non esporre la macchina e la
fonte di alimentazione a 12 V alla pioggia.
MANUTENZIONE
ATTENZIONE!Prima di pulire la macchina o
effettuare qualsiasi operazione di manuten-
zione assicurarsi che la fonte di energia sia
disconnessa.
Alcune parti della macchina sono soggette ad
usura durante il normale funzionamento e di
conseguenza devono essere periodicamente
sostituite.
In caso di dubbi o difficoltà rivolgersi ad un
centro di assistenza autorizzato.
Sostituzione pettine (fig.C):
Attenzione! Tutti i componenti smontati vanno
conservati con cura.
Sequenza di smontaggio pettine.
a Smontare lo scatolino di protezione svitando
le due viti indicate.
b Togliere il perno dallo snodo del pettine svi-
tando uno dei due dadi.
c Il moto è trasmesso al pettine tramite una
maglia trattenuta da una forcella in acciaio.
Tramite un cacciavite, estrarre verso l’alto la
forcella di acciaio.
d Prestare attenzione al distanziale presente sulla
maglia. Estrarre la maglia e quindi il pettine.
Rimontare il pettine nuovo ripetendo le fasi per
lo smontaggio in senso inverso.
Sostituzione del fusibile:
In caso di cortocircuito, il sistema elettrico è
protetto da un fusibile situato all’interno del porta
fusibile(10 Fig.A) collocato a valle del morsetto
positivo. Per la sostituzione aprire il porta fusibi-
le, estrarre il fusibile guasto, installare un fusibile
nuovo e richiudere il porta fusibile.
N.B. La corrente di intervento del nuovo fusibile
deve essere la stessa del vecchio.
Pulizia
Pulire tutte le parti della macchina con un panno
umido e successivamente asciugarla completa-
mente. Non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi che
potrebbero rovinare le parti in plastica.
IMMAGAZZINAMENTO
1) Effettuare un accurata manutenzione e pulizia
di tutto l’utensile come specificato
nei relativi paragrafi.
2) Dove immagazzinare l’utensile:
- Lontano dalla portata dei bambini
- In posizione stabile e sicura
- In luogo asciutto e temperato
- Lontano dalla luce diretta
Non chiuderlo in sacchi di nylon, potrebbe
formarsi umidità.

RICERCA GUASTI
L’attrezzo non funziona:
- Batteria scarica (ricaricare la batteria)
- Errato collegamento dei morsetti (invertire le
polarità)
- Il fusibile è intervenuto (sostituire il fusibile)
L’attrezzo non ha la forza adeguata :
- Batteria scarica (ricaricare)

15. Transporting the machine.
When not in use, transport the machine by
using its handgrips. Keep your fingers away
from the switch.
16. Do not pull or yank the cable.
Never transport the machine holding it by the
cable. Keep the cable away from sources of
heat, oil, and sharp edges.
17. Working in safety.
Before starting to work, make sure the working
area is not slippery and that it allows enough
freedom of movement. Never use on ladders
or other means of support which could com-
promise the operator’s balance.
18. Avoid unsafe movements.
Always make sure that your stance is suppor-
ted and balanced.
19. Use care in the maintenance of your machi-
ne. Periodically check the cable of the machine.
If it is damaged, have it repaired immediately
at an authorised customer service centre.
Follow the instructions for lubrication and
changing the accessories. Keep the handles
clean and dry.
20. Removing the keys.
Before using, always check that all tools have
been removed from the machine.
21. Avoid accidental starts.
Never transport the machine while connected
to the power supply and with your finger on the
on/off switch. Check that the switch is in the
off position when you connect the machine to
the power supply.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The olive tree shaker is a battery-powered
electromechanical tool designed for harvesting
olives, hazelnuts, walnuts, chestnuts and any
other fruit which can be removed from a tree
by shaking and collecting it from the ground.
The power unit is powered by means of 12V
batteries (not supplied with the machine).
GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
1.The olive tree shaker must not be used by
people under the influence of alcohol, drugs
or medication which limit their attention and
reflexes.
2.The olive tree shaker is only allowed to be
used by trained people who are familiar with
the user instructions.
3.Keep all moving parts away from the face.
4.Before any maintenance, turn off the olive tree
shaker and disconnect the power supply cable
from the battery.
5.Only use the tool for the purposes indicated
in the paragraph “General information”. Any
other use is to be considered inappropriate
and therefore dangerous.
6.Turn off the ON/OFF switch when the tool is
not in use.
7.The olive tree shaker must be equipped with
the tools recommended by the manufacturer.
8.Frequently check the tools during operation
and replace them if they are damaged.
10.Consider the work area environment carefully.
11.Never use the machine in areas where there
is a danger of explosion, or near flammable
liquids or gases. Do not expose the machine
to rain. Do not use the machine in damp or
wet places.

Always concentrate fully on what you are
doing. Use common sense. Never use the
machine when you are feeling tired or drowsy.
23. Warning!
The use of accessories other than those re-
commended in this instruction manual may
cause accidents or injury.
24. Have the machine repaired only by qualified
professional technicians.
This electric tool complies with all required
safety standards. Repairs must be carried out
by qualified technicians and only original spare
parts must be used. Otherwise, the operator
may face serious danger when using this tool.
25. Power supply.
Connect the machine to a battery with the
correct voltage. Check that the battery voltage
corresponds to the one indicated on the ma-
chine’s technical data plate.
26. Do not use the machine if damaged, incor-
rectly regulated, or assembled incompletely
or unsafely. Do not use the machine if the
on/off switch does not function correctly. Do
not repair electric switches yourself. Take the
machine to an authorised customer service
centre for controls and repairs.
27. Do not carry out operations or repairs for
which you have no competence or experience.
28. Do not use the machine with only one hand!
This may cause serious injury to the people
helping you or those in the immediate area.
The machine was designed to be used with
both hands.
29. The machine was designed for occasional
domestic use. It was not designed for heavy
duty or continuous jobs.
30. Never use extension leads of any type for
the electric cable.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
This tool was designed for domestic use and
should not be used for heavy duty or for com-
mercial activities.
WARNING! Before carrying out any work on the
tool, disconnect it from the battery.
WARNING! Each assembly and maintenance
intervention must be carried out by an operator
with the appropriate physical and intellectual
requirements.
CONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY CABLE (9,Fig.A)
Before using the machine, you must connect the
power supply cable using the screw connector
(2, Fig.A).
Pay attention to the guides on the connector by
aligning those of the male plug with those of
the female plug.
Insert the two pins, then screw the safety ring.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE TELESCOPIC ROD (5, Fig.A)
Loosen the lacing (7, Fig.A) by turning it anti-
clockwise.
Extend the rod to the desired size.
Close the ring (7, Fig.A) by turning clockwise.
MACHINE USE
N.B. Always wear protective clothing before
starting to use the machine.
- Position the switch (1, Fig.A) on 0/OFF
- Connect the machine clamps (3 Fig. A) to the
12V battery poles paying attention to respect
the polarity (red positive pole +, black negative
pole -).
- Keep the working combs away from people
and animals and firmly hold the rear hand grip
and the rod.
- Carefully approach the combs that swing to
the plant.
- Switch on the machine using the ON/OFF
switch (1 Fig. A) and start working.
Do not overload the machine to improve
the shake efficiency and avoid any failure.
- To stop the machine, position the switch on
the 0/OFF position.
WARNING! Do not expose the machine and the
12V power supply source to rain.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Before cleaning the machine or
carrying out any maintenance operations,
make sure that the power supply source is
disconnected.
Some parts of the machine are subject to wear
under normal operation. Therefore, they must
be replaced periodically.
In case of doubt or difficulty, contact an au-
thorized service center.
Replacement comb (Fig.C):
Warning! All disassembled components should
be stored with care.
Disassembling comb sequence.
a Remove the protective cover by unscrewing
the two indicated screws.
b Remove the pin from the comb harness by
unscrewing one of the two nuts.
c The movement is transmitted to the comb
using a mesh retained by a steel fork. Through
a screwdriver, pull the steel fork upwards.
d Pay attention to the spacer on the mesh. Pull
the knit and then the comb.
Reassemble the new comb by repeating the
dismantling phases in the reverse direction.
Fuse replacement:
In case of short circuits, the electric system is
protected by a fuse located inside the fuse holder
(10 Fig.A) downstream of the positive terminal.
To replace it, open the fuse holder, remove the
old fuse, install a new one and close the fuse
holder again.
N.B. The tripping current of the new fuse must
be the same of the old fuse.
Cleaning
Clean all parts of the machine with a damp cloth
and then dry it completely. Do not use aggressive
detergents which may damage the plastic parts.
STORAGE
1) Carry out careful maintenance and cleaning
of the entire tool as specified
in the paragraphs above.
2) Where to store the tool:
- Out of reach of children
- In a stable and safe place
- In a warm, dry place
- Far from direct sunlight
Do not store in plastic bags as humidity may
form.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The tool does not work:
- When the battery is flat (recharge the battery)
- When the terminals are not properly connected
(invert polarities)
- When the fuse has tripped (replace the fuse)
The tool does not have the appropriate power:
- When the battery is flat (recharge)
DEMOLITION:
I Electric and electronic waste may contain
potentially hazardous substances for the envi-
ronment and human health. It should therefore
not be disposed of with domestic waste, but
by means of differentiated collection at specific
centres or returned to the vendor in the event
of purchasing a new identical tool. The illegal
disposal of such equipment may result in pro-
secution to the full extent of the law.
WARRANTY
The product is protected by law against non-
compliance with the declared characteristics
provided it is used only in the manner described
in the instructions, it has not been tampered with
in any way, it has been stored properly, has been
repaired by authorized and, where applicable,
have been used only original spare parts.
In the case of industrial or professional use or
when using such a guarantee is valid for 12
months.
To issue a claim under warranty you must
present proof of purchase to your dealer or
authorized service center.
