Connect the HDMI In port of your video display device to the HDMI Out port on
the VS0801HB using an HDMI cable.

Connect the HDMI Out port(s) of your source device(s) to the HDMI In port(s)
on the VS0801HB using HDMI cable(s).

Plug the provided power adapter into an appropriate AC power source, and
then plug the power adapter cable into the Power Jack on the VS0801HB.
4
Plug in the IR receiver cable to IR Extend to enable IR remote control.
5
(Optional) Connect an RS-232 serial device, such as a PC, to the RS-232 Port.
Installing an RS-232 Controller
You can control the VS0801HB using an RS-232 controller, such as a PC. To install
a controller, connect the device to the VS0801HB with a serial cable (such as a
modem cable). Note that the cable connecting to the VS0801HB should be a 9-pin
male connector.
Selecting Source Devices
The VS0801HB 8-port HDMI Switch offers easy and fl exible source device selection
with either the front panel pushbuttons, with the remote control, or through the
RS-232 serial interface.
• Manual Selection: To select a source device, press the pushbutton that
corresponds to the port it is connected to.
Note: A Port LED lights green to indicate that the corresponding port is
currently selected for display.
• Remote Control Selection: To select a source device with the remote
control, press the number button that corresponds to the port it is connected
to. Alternatively, you may also cycle through the source devices by pushing
the Port Up and Port Down buttons on the remote control unit. Use the Port
Up button to select the next port in ascending order (from Port 1 to Port 8).
Use the Port Down button to select the next port in descending order (from
Port 8 to Port 1).
• RS-232 Serial Interface: The VS0801HB’s built-in bi-directional RS-232 serial
interface allows system control through a high-end controller, PC, and/or
home automation / home theater software package. On the RS-232 Settings
page, confi gure the controller’s serial port as follows:

Powering Off and Restarting
If you power off the VS0801HB, follow the steps below before powering it on
again.
1. Power off the attached devices.
2. Unplug the power adapter cable from the VS0801HB.
3. Wait 10 seconds, and then plug the power adapter cable back in.
4. After the VS0801HB is powered on, power on the attached devices.

Installer un contrôleur RS-232
Vous pouvez commander le VS0801HB à l'aide d'un contrôleur RS-232, par

Sélectionner les périphériques sources
Le commutateur HDMI à 8 ports VS0801HB offre une sélection du périphérique
source facile et fl exible soit avec les boutons-poussoirs du panneau avant, soit avec
la télécommande, soit via l'interface série RS-232.
• Sélection manuelle : Pour sélectionner un périphérique source, appuyez sur
le bouton poussoir qui correspond au port auquel il est connecté.
Remarque : Une LED de port s'illumine en vert pour indiquer que le port
correspondant est actuellement sélectionné pour l'affi chage.
• Sélection avec la télécommande : Pour sélectionner un périphérique
source avec la télécommande, appuyez sur le bouton avec le numéro
correspondant au port auquel il est connecté. Sinon, vous pouvez également
faire défi ler les appareils sources en appuyant sur les boutons Port Haut et
Port Bas de la télécommande. Utilisez le bouton Port Haut pour sélectionner
le port suivant dans l’ordre croissant (du port 1 au port 8). Utilisez le bouton
Port Bas pour sélectionner le port suivant dans l’ordre décroissant (du port 8
au port 1).
• Interface série RS-232 : L'interface série RS-232 bidirectionnelle intégrée
du VS0801HB permet de contrôler le système avec un contrôleur haut de
gamme, un PC et/ou un ensemble logiciel de domotique/home cinéma. Sur
la page Paramètres RS-232, confi gurez le port série du contrôleur comme
suit :

Mise hors tension et redémarrage
Si vous mettez le VS0801HB hors tension, suivez les étapes ci-dessous avant de
le redémarrer.
1. Éteignez les périphériques connectés.
2. Débranchez le câble de l'adaptateur secteur du VS0801HB.
3. Patientez 10 secondes, puis rebranchez le câble de l'adaptateur secteur.
4. Une fois le VS0801HB sous tension, allumez les périphériques connectés.

Verbinden Sie den HDMI-Eingang Ihres Videoanzeigegerätes über ein HDMI-

Verbinden Sie das mitgelieferte Netzteil mit einer geeigneten Steckdose;
schließen Sie dann das Netzteilkabel am Netzanschluss des VS0801HB an.

Schließen Sie das IR-Empfängerkabel zur Aktivierung der IR-Fernbedienung an
die IR-Erweiterung an.

(Optional) Verbinden Sie ein serielles RS-232-Gerät, wie einen PC, mit dem
RS-232-Anschluss.
RS-232-Controller installieren
Sie können den VS0801HB über einen RS-232-Controller, wie einen PC, steuern.
Verbinden Sie das Gerät zur Installation eines Controllers über ein serielles Kabel
(wie ein Modemkabel) mit dem VS0801HB. Beachten Sie, dass das
Verbindungskabel mit dem VS0801HB einen 9-poligen Stecker haben muss.
Eingangsgeräte wählen
Der 8-Port-HDMI-Switch VS0801HB bietet einfache und fl exible
Eingangsgeräteauswahl über die Drucktasten an der Frontblende, die
Fernbedienung oder die serielle
RS-232-Schnittstelle.
• Manuell wählen: Wählen Sie ein Eingangsgerät, indem Sie die dem

Hinweis: Eine Betriebs-LED zeigt durch grünes Leuchten an, dass der
entsprechende Anschluss aktuell für die Anzeige ausgewählt ist.
• Fernbedienungsauswahl: Wählen Sie ein Eingangsgerät mit der
Fernbedienung, indem Sie die dem Anschluss entsprechende Zifferntaste
drücken. Alternativ können Sie mit der Port-auswärts- und Port-abwärts-Taste
an der Fernbedienung durch die Eingangsgeräte schalten. Wählen Sie mit
der Port-aufwärts-Taste den nächsten Anschluss in aufsteigender Reihenfolge
(von Anschluss 1 bis Anschluss 8). Wählen Sie mit der Port-abwärts-Taste
den nächsten Anschluss in absteigender Reihenfolge (von Anschluss 8 bis
Anschluss 1).
• Serielle RS-232-Schnittstelle: Die integrierte bidirektionale serielle
RS-232-Schnittstelle des VS0801HB ermöglicht die Systemsteuerung über
einen Highend-Controller, einen PC und/oder ein Heimautomations-/
Heimkino-Softwarepaket. Konfi gurieren Sie auf der RS-232-Einstellungsseite
den seriellen Anschluss des Controllers wie folgt:

Ausschalten und neu starten

Instalación de un controlador RS-232

Selección de dispositivos fuente
El VS0801HB Conmutador HDMI de 8 puertos ofrece una selección de dispositivos

• Selección manual: Para seleccionar un dispositivo fuente, presione el

Spegnimento e riavvio
Se si spegne VS0801HB, osservare le procedure di seguiti prima di accenderlo

3. Attendere 10 secondi, quindi ricollegare il cavo dell'adattatore di
