Per evitare rischi di scariche elettriche durante l’uso
dell’apparecchio si prega di osservare le seguenti regole:
− Non usare quando è bagnato. Se l’apparecchio è umido o
bagnato farlo asciugare completamente prima di utilizzarlo.
− Usare l’apparecchio esclusivamente in ambienti asciutti,
non utilizzare in bagno, ecc.!
− Verificare che l’apparecchio non sia danneggiato prima di
ogni utilizzo, ad esempio evitare di usarlo in presenza di
danni visibili al sistema di controllo e impostazione della
temperatura, al cavo di alimentazione, alla spina o allo
termoforo riscaldante.
− Non bucare con spille o altri oggetti acuminati il termoforo
riscaldante.
•
Per evitare il surriscaldamento:
− Non lasciare l’apparecchio acceso e senza controllo;
spegnerlo ogni volta quando si finisce di utilizzarlo anche
temporaneamente.
− Non accendere l’apparecchio quando è piegato o ancora
nella scatola.
− Evitare di piegarlo quando viene riposto.
− Non coprire il sistema di controllo ed impostazione della
temperatura. Per assicurarsi che il sistema di controllo ed
impostazione della temperatura possa funzionare corretta-
mente, non posizionarlo in prossimità (sopra o sotto) il
termoforo riscaldante del termoforo, non coprirlo con
cuscini o altro.
− Non avvolgere il cavo attorno al sistema di controllo ed
impostazione della temperatura.
•
Non utilizzare l’apparecchio su persone inferme o immo-
bilizzate, su bambini, su persone insensibili al calore o su
animali.
Non lasciate che i bambini giochino con l’apparecchio.
•
Non usare l’apparecchio per neonati o bambini. Non
lasciare incustoditi i bambini con l’apparecchio perché non
sono consapevoli dei possibili pericoli.
•
Prolungate applicazioni alla massima temperatura
prevista potrebbero provocare arrossamenti o bruciature
della pelle.
•
Quando l’apparecchio deve essere utilizzato per periodi
prolungati, ad esempio durante il sonno, impostare la
temperatura per un uso continuativo come raccomandato.
•
Esaminare frequentemente l’apparecchio per controllare
segni di usura o danneggiamento.
In presenza di segni di
usura, danneggiamento o se l’apparecchiatura non funziona
correttamente contattare l’assistenza clienti Microlife prima di
utilizzarlo nuovamente.
•
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato deve essere
sostituito presso un centro di assistenza autorizzato per
evitare possibili pericoli.
•
Non aprire o provare a riparare l'apparecchio. Sono
necessarie strumentazioni particolari per re-assemblare
l'apparecchio.
•
Questo apparecchio emette deboli campi elettroma-
gnetici che potrebbero disturbare il funzionamento di
pacemaker cardiaci. È quindi consigliabile consultare il
proprio medico curante o il produttore del pacemaker prima di
utilizzare questo apparecchio.
•
Lasciare raffreddare l’apparecchio prima di piegare e
riporlo in un luogo asciutto. Non sovrapporre oggetti
pesanti su di esso per evitare deformazioni.
Dispositivi elettronici devono essere smaltiti in conformità
alle regolamentazioni locali e non con i rifiuti domestici.

Termoforo riscaldante
ATTENZIONE:
non utilizzare il termoforo senza rivestimento.
Durante l’uso permettere all’aria di circolare tra lo scalda-
piedi e la pelle.
Non usarlo con le scarpe.
1. Mettere il rivestimento 1 su una superficie piatta. Aprire la
cerniera.
2. Inserire completamente il termoforo 3 nel rivestimento
facendolo scorrere un lato alla volta. Assicurarsi che il cavo e
il sistema di controllo ed impostazione della temperatura 2
rimangano fuori dal rivestimento.
3. Quando il termoforo riscaldante è inserito in modo uniforme e
steso all’interno del rivestimento, chiudere la cerniera.
4.
Inserire la spina in una presa da 220-240 volt AC e impostare la
temperatura desiderata utilizzando il selettore a scorrimento.
• Accendere il termoforo selezionando la temperatura sul
selettore a scorrimento. L’indicatore luminoso di accen-
sione ON si illuminerà mostrando che l’apparecchio è
connesso alla rete elettrica ed è acceso.
• Il livello «1» è indicato per un uso prolungato.
•
Quando il selettore della temperatura è sulla posizione «0» il
termoforo e l’indicatore luminoso d’accensione sono spenti.
5.
Il sistema di controllo della temperatura spegnerà auto-
maticamente il termoforo dopo circa 90 min.
, in ogni caso
l’indicatore luminoso rimarrà acceso. Per un nuovo utilizzo far
scorrere il selettore di temperatura nella posizione «0» e impo-
stare nuovamente il livello di temperatura desiderato.
6. Scollegare alla presa elettrica l’apparecchio quando finito.
ATTENZIONE: scollegare sempre il cavo dalla rete elet-
trica prima di procedere alla pulizia dell’apparecchio.
1. Rimuovere il termoforo riscaldante dal rivestimento e proce-
dere al lavaggio del rivestimento in lavatrice seguendo le
istruzioni indicate nell’apposita etichetta.
2. Non lavare mai il termoforo riscaldante in lavatrice o a secco!
3. Non bagnare il sistema di controllo ed impostazione manuale.
Non usare detergenti aggressivi o solventi che potrebbero
danneggiare l'apparecchio.
4. Non mettere mai il sistema di controllo e impostazione in
acqua. Dell'umidità potrebbe entrare nel sistema di controllo
e impostazione danneggiandolo.
5. Verificare che il sistema di impostazione e controllo non sia
danneggiato. Far asciugare completamente il termoforo ed il
suo rivestimento prima di utilizzarlo nuovamente.

This device is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
For household use only!
•
To avoid any risk of electric shock when using the pad
please observe the following:
− Do not use if wet. If the pad has become damp or wet,
completely dry the pad before use.
− Only use the pad in dry rooms, not in a bathroom etc.!
− Check that the pad is undamaged each time before use, i.e.
do not use it if there is visible damage to the hand control,
switches, plug or the pad itself.
− Do not insert pins or other sharp objects.
•
To avoid overheating:
− Do not leave the pad switched on unsupervised; switch it
off when you leave the room.
− Do not use the pad folded.
− Avoid creasing the pad.
− Do not cover the hand control. To ensure the hand control
can function correctly, do not place the hand control on or
under the flexible section of the appliance, do not tuck the
hand control under pillows, cushions or clothing.
− The cable should not be wound around the hand control.
•
Do not use on a person incapable of movement, a baby,
a person insensitive to heat or animals. Do not let chil-
dren play with the device.
•
Do not use it for infants or babies. Do not leave children
unsupervised with this device because they cannot correctly
recognise or appreciate possible dangers.
•
Excessive application at a high setting can result in
skin burns.
•
When the device is likely to be used for an extended
period, i.e. by the user falling asleep, controls should be
adjusted to a setting recommended for continuous use.
•
Examine the device frequently for signs of wear or
damage. If there are signs of wear or damage or the device
has been misused, please contact the manufacturer or autho-
rised agent prior to any further use.
•
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, an authorised agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid any hazards.

Do not attempt to open or repair the device your self.

This device emits very weak electrical and magnetic
fields which may disturb the function of your cardiac
pacemaker. Therefore, we recommend you to consult your
physician and the manufacturer of your cardiac pacemaker
before using this device.

Allow the device to cool down before folding and
storing it in a dry place. Do not place heavy objects on it to
prevent buckling.
Electronic devices must be disposed of in accordance
with the locally applicable regulations, not with
domestic waste.

WARNING: Never use the pad without the cloth cover.
Allow some air circulation between the pad and skin
during use.
Do not use with shoes.
1. Put the cloth cover 1 on a flat surface. Open the zipper.
2. Insert the pad 3 completely into the cover, fitting one side
at a time. Make sure the cable and hand control 2 remained
outside the cover.
3. The pad will lie flat, filling the entire cover. Close zipper.
4. Plug into a 220-240 volt AC mains socket and set the hand
control to the desired heat setting using the slider.
• Select the temperature setting on the slider – this
switches on the heat pad. An indicator will illuminate,
showing that the appliance is connected to the power
supply and is switched on.
• Setting 1 is recommended for continuous use.
• The pad is switched off by moving the slider to the «0»
position, the indicator will then go out.
5. The hand control will automatically turn off the heater
after approximately 90 minutes, however, the indicator
light will remain illuminated. To reset the timer and start a
further heating period, move the slider to the off «0» position
and then back to the desired heat setting.
6. Unplug when finished.
WARNING: Always unplug the power cable from the
mains socket before you undertake any cleaning of the
product.
1. The cover can be machine washed after removal from the
pad according to the washing instructions given on the cover.
2. The pad must not be machine washed or dry-cleaned.
3. Do not allow the hand control to get wet. Do not use any
detergents or solvents, they may damage the device.
4. Never hold the hand control under water. Otherwise mois-
ture may enter the hand control and cause damage.
5. Check the hand control for signs of damage. Dry the pad and
its fabric cover completely before switching it on again.
