1. Only use an iron for its intended use.

2. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not

immerse the iron in water or other liquids.

3. Always turn the iron OFF before plugging

or unplugging the iron from the electrical

outlet. Never pull on the cord to disconnect

the iron from the electrical outlet; instead,

grasp the plug and pull on the plug to dis-

connect the iron.

4. Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces. Let

the iron cool completely before putting the

iron away. Coil the cord loosely around the

iron when storing.

5. Always disconnect the iron from the electri-

cal outlet before ﬁlling the iron with water,

emptying the water from the iron, and when

the iron is not in use.

6. Do not operate the iron with a damaged cord

or in the event the iron has been dropped or

damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock,

do not disassemble the iron. Take it to a

qualiﬁed serviceman for examination and

repair. Incorrect assembly might result in a

risk of electric shock when the iron is used

after reassembly.

7. Close supervision is required for any appli-

ance used by or near children. Do not leave

the iron unattended while the iron is con-

nected or on an ironing board.

8. Burns can occur from touching hot metal

parts, hot water, or steam. Use caution when

you turn a STEAM IRON upside down - there

might be hot water in the reservoir.

9. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate

an iron on the same circuit with another

high wattage appliance.

10. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary,

a cord with an ampere rating equal to or

greater than the maximum rating of the iron

shall be used. A cord rated for less amperage

can result in a risk of ﬁre or electric shock

due to overheating. Care shall be taken to

arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled

or be tripped over.

• This appliance is intended for private houshold

use only.

• Only use this appliance indoors and for ironing

textile items in accordance with this Operator

Manual.

• In an emergency, immediately unplug the plug

from the wall socket.

• The appliance must ONLY be connected to a

grounded wall socket outlet. We recommend

FI circuit breakers. The power plug must be

easily accessible in case of emergency.

• The iron soleplate and steam jet are very hot.

DO NOT iron or apply steam to clothing while

it is being worn.

• Do not point steam in the direction of people

or pets during vertical steaming.

• This appliance produces heat. Keep your hands

and body away from the iron soleplate and

steam jet while in use – they will be HOT.

Take care when returning the steam iron to

the iron rest.

• CONTACT WITH STEAM UNDER PRESSURE

CAN RESULT IN SEVERE BURNS.

• DO NOT open the steam generator cap or the

drain cap while operating the appliance.

• Never leave the appliance unattended while

switched on.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using an iron, basic precautions should always

be followed, including the following:

• ALWAYS allow the appliance to cool down for

at least 2 hours before emptying.

• Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of

children less than 8 years of age when

it is energized or cooling down.

• This appliance is NOT intended for use by

children, or persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capacity, or lack of experi-

ence, unless they are supervised by a person

responsible for their safety. This appliance is

NOT intended to be used by children under the

age of 8 regardless of supervision or training.

• Take care when removing and setting down

the protective soleplate after use. Place the

hot soleplate on the heat-resistant iron rest.

• Cleaning, repairs, and maintenance on the

appliance should ONLY be performed when

the iron is switched off, cold and allowed to

cool down for at least 2 hours. Unscrew the

caps with care: any pressurized steam present

will begin to escape after a few turns, posing

a risk of burns.

• Allow the iron to cool down completely

before storing.

• DO NOT operate the appliance without

water.

• Clean the exterior of the appliance with a

soft, damp cloth. DO NOT use solvents, oil

or petrol.

• DO NOT attempt to insert objects into the

openings of the appliance. If water or a for-

eign body enters the appliance, immediately

unplug the iron from the wall socket. Contact

an authorized Laurastar Customer Service

representative for information on repair.

• To avoid risk of electric shock, DO NOT pull

the electric cable from the wall socket – take

a ﬁrm hold of the plug and remove it.

• Position the electric cable and the steam hose

so that they cannot be pulled or caught to

avoid a tripping hazard.

• The ﬁlling, or decalcifying, or rinsing, or in-

spection apertures that are under pressure,

shall not be opened during use.

• Do not use the appliance if it has been dam-

aged in a fall, shows visible signs of damage,

or has a faulty steam hose or electric cable.

To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not

open or disassemble the appliance. Contact

an authorized Laurastar Customer Service

representative for information on repair. In-

correct reassembly can cause a risk of electric

shock when the appliance is used.

disposal measures :

DO NOT dispose of the used appliance with

normal household waste !

Ask your municipal or local authorities about

appropriate environmentally-friendly

Preparing the appliance

We recommend that you rinse out the steam generator (15) before using it

for the ﬁrst time:

• Check that the plug (23) is disconnected from the mains socket.

• Set the ironing board (1) to its highest position, then remove the water

reservoir (11).

• Place the drain tray (14) beneath the drain cap (22).

• First unscrew the steam generator cap (21), then unscrew the drain cap

(22).

• Remove the small and the large lid (12) from the water reservoir. Remove

the ﬁlter compartment with the ﬁlter (13).

• Fill the water reservoir with warm tap water up to the MAX level.

• Position the large funnel shaped lid (12) at the place of the water reservoir (11)

on top of the steam generator (15) and place the water reservoir above it.

• Once all the water has ﬂown through and the reservoir is empty, screw the

two caps in place again.

• Dispose of the water.

Which water should be used?

Your Laurastar has been designed for use with tap water. It is still absolutely

necessary to use the supplied anti-scale ﬁlter (13) in order to beneﬁt fully

and longer from your Laurastar.

NOTICE: Never use additives (e.g.

perfumed water), water containing

chemical products or water from tumble

dryers as these products will have a

detrimental effect on the function of your

Laurastar.

Storing your system

• To turn your appliance off, press the main ON/OFF button (16).

• Remove the power plug (23) and roll the electric cable around the feet of

the table. If your model has the automatic rewind, pull on the cable in order

to activate the rewind.

• Place the steam hose holder (8) horizontally in the hole designed for this

purpose.

• Place the iron in the iron safety storage box (5). Fold the iron-rest into the

“close” position on top of the table. Hold the table with one hand on the

iron rest side (6). With the other hand grasp the ironing board (1), tilt the

table into the vertical position.

• Store your system in a vertical position. You can leave the water in the

reservoir until the next usage.

• NOTE: if you store your system in a horizontal position, you must

empty the water reservoir (11).

Installation and storage

Installing your ironing system

• Remove the appliance from the box and position it vertically on the ground

in a closed position.

• Hold the table with one hand on the iron rest side (6). Hold the middle

of the table (1) with the other hand and pivot it to a horizontal position

(maximum height).

• Unfold the iron-rest to the open position.

• Fit the ironing board cover (4), securing it from the side of the iron rest

to the tip of the ironing board, then adjust. The cover supplied with this

product is specially designed to ensure uniform distribution of air over the

whole board in vacuum or blower mode. Use only a Laurastar approved

cover to ensure that its effectiveness is not impaired. The cover is was-

hable at 30°C (warm water); do not spin dry.

• Take the iron (2) out of its safety storage box (5) and place it on the iron-

rest (6).

• You can fold the iron-rest into the close position (6a) if you desire.

• Insert the steam hose holder (8) in one of the two holes beside the iron-

rest (6), ﬁx the steam hose on the steam hose holder (3a). Insert the

protective soleplate hook (28) in the other hole.

• You can lower the table height by clamping the handles (7). There are six

levels. To lift the table, simply pull it up without using the handles.

• To move your Laurastar, simply raise the tip of the board and roll.

NOTE: Before ironing, or after an extended break, press the iron’s

steam button (9) 2 or 3 times, while pointing it away from the clothes.

This will release any condensation from the iron and prevent water

marks on the clothes.

CAUTION : Do not point the iron at people or pets while using

vertical steam.

Ironing

Two ironing modes

For the best possible steam ironing result, we offer two modes of ironing :

• Blower mode :

Pressing the vacuum/blower button (10) on the iron

activates the fan (24) in blower mode. this blows air into the fabric from

below, helping to reduce unwanted creases.

• Vacuum mode :

Pressing the vacuum/blower button (10) again,

activates the fan (24) in vacuum mode. This draws in air, holding the

garment in place on the board to facilitate perfect pleats.

Press the vacuum/blower button (10) to switch from blower to vacuum mode

and vice versa. You can adjust the intensity (4 speeds) pressing the fan speed

button (19) on the user interface of the steam generator.

LAURASTAR SENSTEAM (17) (certain models only)

Laurastar SenSteam (17) allows you to obtain an automatic steam diffusion

without pressing the steam button (9). The steam is automatically activated

when the iron moves forward and stops when the iron rests or moves back

To switch back to regular mode, press the Laurastar SenSteam button (17)

again.

PULSE (18) (certain models only)

Press the pulsed steam button (18) to activate the pulse function. Then press

the steam button (9) to automatically generate small and regular steam jets

. To switch back to regular mode, press the pulsed steam button again (18).

Steam principle

Perfect ironing requires diffusion of steam across the fabric, in order to relax

the ﬁbres, and drying to ﬁx them in place. Creases can only be completely

removed if these conditions are present.

Advice: For best results, ﬁrst iron the item with steam and then iron it again

without steam, thereby enabling the iron to dry the fabric.

Protective soleplate (27)

The protective soleplate is indispensable for dark-coloured fabrics which can

CAUTION: Always ﬁll the water reservoir (11) completely

before turning on your Laurastar. Operating the appliance

without water could damage the appliance.

PLEASE NOTE: Operating the appliance without water will void any

limited warranties provided with your appliance.

Installation of the anti-scale cartridge and ﬁlling

• Check that the power plug is disconnected from the mains socket.

• Set the ironing board to its highest position.

• Take the water reservoir (11) out. Take off the water reservoir lids.

Install the anti-scale ﬁlter (13).

• Fill the reservoir with tap water. The ﬁltered water has to reach the

MAX level.

• Close the water reservoir with the lids and put the reservoir back on the

steam generator (15).

• If the water does not ﬂow, soak the anti-scale ﬁlter in cold water for 3

minutes.

User interface

• ON/OFF = the green indicator light ﬂashes until the appliance is ready to

be used.

• = Option Laurastar SenSteam. If your appliance is equipped with the

Laurastar SenSteam option (17), the white indicator light signals that the

function is on.

• = Option Pulsed Steam. If your appliance is equipped with the Pulsed

Steam option (18), the white indicator light signals that the function is ON.

Fan speed button (19) = choice of four speeds. The white indicator light

signals the intensity chosen.

• Empty water light (20) = the red drop shaped indicator light signals that

there is no more water in the reservoir (11).

Switching on your appliance

• Insert the power plug (23) in the socket. If your model is equipped with the

automatic rewinder, ﬁrst pull the electric cable untill the end-of-cable mark

is visible at the rewinder opening.

• Press the main ON/OFF button (16), the green indicator light will ﬂash for

3-6 minutes.

• When the green indicator light stops ﬂashing and stays on, the appliance is

ready. You can start ironing.

• NOTE: For your comfort and safety, your Laurastar system will

switch off after 10 minutes of non-use.

Vertical smoothing out

Suspend the item of clothing on a hanger or on the vertical support bracket

(available on www.laurastar.com or at your approved Laurastar retailer).

Moving the iron from top to bottom, lightly touch the fabric using short bursts

of steam. Note: almost all fabrics smooth out easily, with the exception of

cotton, linen and certain silks.

If a fabric is difﬁcult to smooth out, place it on the ironing board and iron it

normally.

WARNING: Do not iron or vertical steam clothes that are

being worn. Do not point vertical steam in the direction of

people or pets.

Filling

Empty water indicator light (20) and warning tone

A warning tone sounds and the empty water indicator light (20) ﬂashes to

signal that there is no water left in the steam generator’s reservoir.

As soon as the warning tone sounds, the steam stops and you must reﬁll the

water reservoir (11).

How to ﬁll the water reservoir (11)

• Remove the water reservoir (11) from its place. Take off the reservoir lids.

• Fill the reservoir with tap water. The ﬁltered water must reach the MAX

level.

• Close the lids and put the reservoir back in its place on top of the steam

generator (15).

become shiny, for delicate fabric like silk and synthetic fabrics which have a

tendency to stick to the iron.

Using the protective soleplate (27) :

• First place the tip of the iron (2) at the front of the protective soleplate

(27) and lower the iron to ﬁx it in place in the soleplate.

• Wait approximately 2 minutes for the soleplate to reach the correct

temperature.

To remove the protective soleplate, pull on the tab and remove the iron while

it is still hot.

WARNING: The protective soleplate is hot! Use caution when you

remove the protective soleplate.

NOTICE: ALWAYS remove the protective soleplate after use.

Advice: For mohair, cashmere, velvet and angora: do not allow the fabric

to come into contact with the protective soleplate (27). Iron the fabric at

a distance of approximately 10 cm (4 in) while diffusing steam, so that the

fabric does not become felted.

Then take the item of clothing in your hand

and shake it to restore its volume.

For velvet, corduroy and jersey, we recommend steaming without the

protective soleplate (27) at around 2-3 cm (1-2 in) from the fabric, then

levelling out by hand.

Rinsing the steam generator (cold iron only)

In order to prolong the effectiveness of your appliance and avoid any traces of

limescale, you must rinse the steam generator (15) on a regular basis.

WARNING: Only rinse with water. NEVER use descaling

products or other chemical products.

Rinse the steam generator in accordance with the following instructions :

• Check that the power plug (23) is disconnected from the mains socket.

• Set the ironing board (1) to its highest position, then remove the water

reservoir (11). Place the drain tray (14) beneath the drain cap (22).

• First unscrew the steam generatorcap (21) then the drain cap (22).

• Remove the small and the large lid from the water reservoir (12). Remo-

ve the ﬁlter compartment with the ﬁlter (13).

• Fill the water reservoir with warm tap water up to the MAX level.

• Position the large funnel shaped lid (12) at the place of the water reservoir

(11) on top of the steam generator (15) and position the water reservoir

above it. Then let the water ﬂow through.

• Repeat the operation until the water coming out of the steam generator is

free of residues. If no water comes out of the drain opening, call the Lauras-

tar Customer Service department.

• Once all the water has ﬂown through and the reservoir is empty, screw the

two caps in place again. Dispose of the water. Place the ﬁlter back in the

water reservoir, close with the lids and put the reservoir back in its place

on top of the steam generator (15).

Maintenance

To extend the life of your appliance, we recommend that you rinse

the steam generator and clean your iron every month or after every

10 hours of ironing.

WARNING: the appliance should be UNPLUGGED, OFF and

COLD before cleaning. Switch off and unplug the appliance.

Allow your appliance to cool down for at least 2 hours.

Always make sure your appliance is cold before cleaning !

NOTICE! Only rinse the appliance with water. NEVER use descaling

products or other chemical products.

Cleaning the iron (2)

If the iron’s soleplate is dirty, use the cleaning mat in accordance with

the instructions. This can be obtained at www.laurastar.com or from your

approved Laurastar retailer.

Stubborn stains can be cleaned using an abrasive dishwashing sponge. After

completing this operation, remove the aluminium oxide present under the

soleplate by cleaning it with a damp cloth.

Clean the steam holes in the iron’s soleplate as soon as they become blocked

up or calcified. Clean the holes using the appropriate tool. This can be

obtained at www.laurastar.com or from your approved Laurastar retailer.

Anti-scale ﬁlter change (13)

The anti-scale ﬁlter has to be changed when the granules are completely

brown.

• Remove the water reservoir (11) from its place. Take off the water reser-

voir lids. Remove the anti-scale ﬁlter (13).

• Dispose of the ﬁlter (13) in the regular houshold garbage and rinse the

compartment.

Install a new anti-scale ﬁlter in the water reservoir.

• Fill the reservoir with tap water. The ﬁltered water must reach the MAX

level. Then put the reservoir back in its place on top of the steam gene-

rator (15).

Note: you can wash the plastic elements of the water reservoir (11) in the

dishwasher.

How can I keep in memory the settings I

have made with the App?

All the settings made with the Laurastar

App are automatically stored in your

Laurastar’s memory and you will ﬁnd them

each time you turn on your appliance.

If several smartphones/tablets have been

connected, your Laurastar will recognize the

closest smartphone/tablet if the Bluetooth

function is activated.

How many smartphones or tablets can I

connect to my Laurastar?

It is possible to connect an unlimited

number of different smartphones or tablets.

When you start your Laurastar, you will ﬁnd

the settings of the last smartphone or tablet

used.

Your Laurastar automatically loads the

settings of the closest smartphone or

tablet, if different from the last used and

if the Bluetooth function is activated.

How can I restore the factory settings

(factory reset)?

Make a simultaneousz long press on the

main ON/OFF and the fan speed button.

Keep the two buttons pressed for 10

seconds. When all the LEDs of the user

interface start to blink, the factory settings

are reset.

WARNING

Intended or unintended incorrect handling

might cause erasing of the factory settings.

This voids the Laurastar warranty and

possible costs of repair will be in charge

of the user.

Problems and solutions

Before calling the Laurastar Customer Service department, please check the following points:

3. The exclusion of the Republic of Korea from the international

guarantee went into effect in June 2017.

Laurastar warrants its product to be free from defects in materials

and workmanship under normal customer use as described in the

instruction manual for 1 year from the date of purchase as identiﬁed

on the invoice or cash receipt. This limited warranty extends only

to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Laurastar, at its

option, will at no charge repair or replace defective equipment during

the period of this limited warranty. To obtain warranty service, the

damaged equipment must be sent or taken to an authorized Laurastar

customer service center. This limited warranty is the customer’s

exclusive remedy and applies only to new Laurastar products.

This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear,

wear of the electric cable, wear of the soleplate, or wear of the

appliance’s components and accessories. Damage caused by

improper operation or storage, misuse or abuse, unauthorized

repair by non-Laurastar specialists, accident or neglect,

alteration, or connecting to a power source outside the speciﬁed

voltage. Equipment used for a commercial or any other non-

domestic or household purpose is not covered by this limited

warranty. “Misuse or abuse” of the product includes the use of the

equipment for any purpose, or in any manner, not in accordance

with the instructions contained in the instruction manual provided

with the equipment. Examples of “misuse or abuse” of the product

include, but are not limited to, damage caused by the appliance or

one of its components falling to the ﬂoor, failure to rinse the water

reservoir, failure to remove the protective soleplate, use of any

liquid other than water, the fact of not unplugging the power plug

from the mains socket after each usage and the use of products,

accessories and spare parts not supplied by Laurastar. The present

limited warranty does not cover damages caused by non-respect of

the instructions stipulated by this instruction manual.

Laurastar international guarantee

The present guarantee does not, in any way, affect the sta-

tutory rights of the user pursuant to the national legislation in force

governing the sale of consumer goods, including the rights set out by

Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council

of 25 October 2011 on certain aspects of sales and guarantees

for consumer goods, or the rights held by the user, by virtue of the

sales contract, with regard to the respective vendor. In the event

that an appliance sold by Laurastar contains manufacturing defects,

Laurastar shall be liable for the complete elimination of these defects

within the scope deﬁned below.

1. Scope of cover

This guarantee only applies to products manufactured by or

on behalf of Laurastar, which may be identified by the brand,

the trade name or the Laurastar logo affixed to the product.

The guarantee does not apply to non-Laurastar products,

accessories or spare parts.

This guarantee shall be applicable only if the appliance

becomes unusable, or if its use is signiﬁcantly hindered, due to a

manufacturing defect, an assembly defect or a defect in the material

of the appliance, and if this defect was already in existence when the

appliance was supplied to the user.

It shall not be applicable, in particular:

• if the hindrance to use of the appliance is due to professional use

of the appliance, namely intensive use for which the user receives

monetary remuneration

• to normal wear and tear of the appliance’s components and ac-

cessories

• to an intervention by a third party or a repairer not approved by

Laurastar

• to failure to comply with the instructions contained in the instruc-

tion manual, speciﬁcally the warnings concerning start-up, use

and maintenance of the appliance

• to non-compliant use.

The concept of “non-compliant use” notably includes damage caused by :

• the fall of the appliance or of a component

• blows or marks resulting from negligence

• keeping the protective soleplate on the iron permanently

• failure to rinse the boiler

• use of water that does not comply with the speciﬁcations

• use of non-Laurastar products, accessories and spare parts.

• Continuous connection of the power plug to the mains socket.

2. Entitlements held by the user

When a user asserts, in a manner compliant with the present

guarantee, an entitlement arising from the said guarantee,

Laurastar shall be free to implement the most appropriate method

for eliminating the defect. This guarantee does not grant the user

any entitlement or any additional right; in particular, the user may

not claim for reimbursement of expenses in relation to the defect,

or compensation for any consequential loss or damage. Moreover,

transportation of the appliance from the user’s place of residence to

Laurastar’s premises, and return transportation, shall be carried out

at the user’s risk.

3. Term of validity

This guarantee is only valid for the entitlements that it accords to

the user and that the user has asserted against Laurastar within the

guarantee term.

The guarantee term is one year for countries that are not members

of the European Union and two years for European Union Member

States and Switzerland, calculated from the date of delivery of the

appliance to the user. If defects are notiﬁed after the guarantee term

has come to an end, or if the documents or items of evidence that

are necessary to assert the defects in accordance with the present

declaration are not present until after the end of the guarantee term,

the user shall not hold any rights or entitlements by virtue of this

guarantee.

4. Immediate notiﬁcation of defects

When the user discovers a defect in the appliance, he / she

undertakes to communicate this to Laurastar without delay. If the

user does not do so, he / she shall lose the entitlements afforded by

the present guarantee.

5. Methods for asserting entitlements arising from the

present declaration

In order to assert the entitlements resulting from this guarantee,

the user must contact the Laurastar Customer Service department,

either :

• by telephone

• by e-mail

• by fax.

He / she must follow the instructions from the Customer Service

department and send, at his / her own risk:

• the appliance with the defect(s)

• a copy of the purchase contract, of the invoice, of the till receipt

or any other suitable document as evidence of the date or place

of purchase.

The Customer Service department is available to provide any

additional information on this subject.

If an appliance is returned to the Laurastar approved service centre

6. Laurastar™ after-sales service

If a Laurastar appliance is delivered to an agreed service centre for

an intervention that is not covered by any warranty clause or after

the warranty period, said intervention will be considered as a «out-of-

warranty repair» and shall be invoiced.

4. Le cordon ne doit pas entrer en contact avec

des surfaces chaudes. Laisser le fer refroidir

complètement avant de le ranger. Enrouler

le cordon autour du fer sans serrer avant de

ranger l’appareil.

5. Toujours débrancher le fer pour le remplir

d’eau, le vider et lorsqu’il ne sert pas.

6. Ne pas utiliser le fer si son cordon est abîmé,

si l’appareil est tombé ou s’il est endommagé.

Aﬁn d’éviter les risques d’électrocution, ne

pas démonter le fer. Conﬁer l’inspection et

la réparation de l’appareil au personnel d’un

centre d’entretien qualiﬁé. Un assemblage

incorrect peut provoquer un choc électrique

au moment de la remise en service.

7. Faire preuve d’une extrême vigilance lor-

sque l’appareil est utilisé par un enfant ou

à proximité d’un enfant. Ne pas laisser le

fer sans surveillance s’il est branché ou s’il

est posé sur une planche à repasser.

8. Les pièces métalliques, l’eau chaude ou la

vapeur peuvent occasionner des brûlures.

choc électrique. Veiller à placer le cordon de

telle manière qu’il ne puisse pas être tiré in-

opinément, ni faire trébucher les personnes

passant à proximité de l’appareil.

• Cet appareil est destiné uniquement à l’usage

dans un ménage privé.

• Utilisez cet appareil uniquement à l’intérieur

et pour le repassage de pièces textiles dans

le respect de ce mode d’emploi.

• En cas d’urgence, retirez immédiatement la

mains et votre corps loin de la semelle du fer

• L’appareil doit toujours être reposé/mis

• Attention quand vous enlevez et déposez

la semelle protectrice après utilisation.

Posez la semelle chaude sur le pose-fer

• Le nettoyage, les réparations et l’entre-

tien de l’appareil doivent être effectués

et refroidi pendant au moins 2 heures.

Dévissez les bouchons avec précaution :

la vapeur sous pression encore existante

commence à sortir après quelques tours.

• Laissez refroidir complètement le fer avant

de le ranger.

• NE PAS mettre l’appareil en marche sans

eau.

• Nettoyer l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un

chiffon doux et humide. NE PAS utiliser de

solvants, d’huile ou d’essence !

• Pour éviter une surcharge de votre insta-

llation électrique, ne faites pas fonctionner

un autre appareil à haute puissance (watt)

simultanément.

• NE PAS essayer d’insérer des objets

dans les ouvertures de l’appareil. En cas

d’infiltration d’eau ou si des corps

étrangers entrent dans l’appareil,

débranchez immédiatement la fiche

secteur de la prise murale. Faire

intervenir uniquement le Service Clients

Laurastar autorisé pour la remise en état

de l’appareil.

• Pour éviter tout risque de décharge

électrique, NE PAS retirer le câble

électrique de la prise murale en tirant

dessus, mais saisissez fermement la ﬁche

secteur et retirez-la.

• Positionner le câble électrique et le tube

vapeur de telle sorte qu’ils ne puissent

pas être tirés ou accrochés. Assurez-vous

également que personne ne risque de tré-

bucher dans ces câbles.

Préparation de l'appareil

Il est conseillé de rincer le générateur de vapeur (15) avant la première

utilisation:

• Vériﬁez que la ﬁche secteur (23) soit débranchée de la prise murale.

• Fixez la table (1) dans sa position la plus haute, puis retirez le réservoir

d'eau (11).

• Mettez le bac de vidange (14) sous le bouchon de vidange (22).

• Dévissez d'abord le bouchon du générateur de vapeur (21) puis le bouchon

de vidange (22).

• Ôtez le petit et le grand couvercle (12) du réservoir d'eau. Retirez le comparti-

ment du ﬁltre et le ﬁltre (13).

• Remplissez le réservoir avec de l'eau chaude du robinet jusqu'au niveau

MAX.

• Placez le grand couvercle en forme d'entonnoir (12) à la place du réservoir

d'eau (11), au-dessus du générateur (15) et placez le réservoir par-dessus.

• Après écoulement de toute l’eau, revissez les 2 bouchons.

• Jetez l’eau.

Quelle eau utiliser ?

Votre Laurastar a été conçue pour fonctionner avec de l’eau du robinet. Il est

toutefois indispensable d’utiliser le ﬁltre anticalcaire (13) fourni pour proﬁter

pleinement et plus longtemps de votre Laurastar.

REMARQUE : N’utilisez jamais d’additifs

(ex. eau parfumée) ni d’eau contenant

des produits chimiques ni d’eau de

récupération du sèche-linge car ces

produits nuisent au bon fonctionnement

de votre Laurastar.

Rangement de votre système

• Éteignez votre appareil en appuyant sur le bouton principal ON/OFF (16).

• Retirez la ﬁche secteur (23) et enroulez le câble d’alimentation autour des

pieds de la table. Si votre modèle comporte l’enrouleur automatique, tirez

sur le câble aﬁn d’enclencher l’enroulement automatique.

• Mettez le guide-ﬁl (8) à l’horizontale dans le trou prévu à cet effet.

• Mettez le fer dans le rangement sécurisé (5). Rabattez le repose-fer en

position rapprochée. D’une main, saisissez la partie avec le repose-fer (6).

De l’autre main, saisissez le rebord de la table (1) et faites basculer la table

à la verticale.

• Rangez votre système en position verticale. Vous pouvez laisser l’eau dans

le réservoir d’eau jusqu’à la prochaine utilisation.

• NOTE : Si votre appareil est rangé en position horizontale, vous

devez vider le réservoir d’eau (11).

Montage et rangement

Montage de votre système de repassage

• Sortez l'appareil du carton et dressez-le fermé à la verticale, sur le sol.

• Saisissez la table d’une main du côté du repose-fer (6). De l'autre main sai-

sissez le rebord de la table (1) par le milieu et faites-la pivoter à l’horizontal

(hauteur maximale).

• Rabattez le repose-fer en position extérieure.

• Mettez la housse (4) en place depuis le côté du repose-fer jusqu'à la pointe

de la table, ajustez. La housse livrée avec ce produit est spécialement

conçue pour une répartition uniforme de l'air lors de l’aspiration et de la

soufﬂerie sur toute la table. Veuillez n’utiliser qu’une housse homologuée

par Laurastar pour ne pas diminuer son efﬁcacité. La housse est lavable à

30°C (eau tiède), sans essorage.

• Sortez le fer (2) du rangement sécurisé (5) et posez-le sur le repose-fer (6).

• Vous pouvez rabattre le repose-fer en position rapprochée si vous le dé-

sirez. (6a)

• Fixez le guide-ﬁl (8) dans un des deux trous de la table situés sur le côté du

repose-fer (6), y insérer le tube vapeur (3a). Fixez le crochet de la semelle

protectrice (28) dans l’autre trou de la table.

• En serrant les poignées de réglage (7) de la table, vous pouvez la descen-

dre (six hauteurs possibles). Pour la remonter, soulevez simplement la

table, sans utiliser les poignées.

• Pour déplacer votre Laurastar, soulevez la pointe de la table et roulez.

NOTE : Avant de commencer le repassage ou après une pause

prolongée, appuyez 2 ou 3 fois sur le bouton vapeur (9) du fer à

l'écart du linge. Ceci aﬁn d'évacuer toute condensation du fer et

d'éviter des taches d'eau sur les vêtements.

ATTENTION : Ne pas utiliser la vapeur verticale en direction

de personnes ou d’animaux.

Repassage

Deux modes de repassage

Pour effectuer au mieux votre repassage vapeur, nous vous proposons deux

modes de repassage :

• Mode soufﬂerie :

En appuyant sur le bouton aspiration/soufﬂerie (10),

vous activez le ventilateur (24) en mode soufﬂerie. De l’air va être soufﬂé

• Mode aspiration :

En appuyant à nouveau sur le bouton aspiration/souf-

ﬂerie (10), vous activez le ventilateur (24) en mode aspiration. De l’air va être

aspiré et plaquera votre tissu sur la table, facilitant la disparition des plis.

Passez d'un mode à l'autre en appuyant sur le bouton aspiration/soufﬂerie (10).

Vous pouvez régler l'intensité (4 vitesses), en appuyant sur le bouton de

réglage du ventilateur (19).

LAURASTAR SENSTEAM (17) (uniquement certains modèles)

Laurastar SenSteam (17) vous permet d'obtenir une diffusion de vapeur

automatique sans appuyer sur le bouton vapeur (9). La vapeur sort

automatiquement lorsque le fer avance et s'arrête lorsqu'il s'immobilise ou

recule

Pour passer en mode manuel appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton Laurastar

SenSteam (17).

PULSE (18) (uniquement certains modèles)

Activez la fonction pulse en appuyant sur le bouton vapeur pulsée (18). Puis

appuyez sur le bouton vapeur (9) pour obtenir des petits jets de vapeur en

continu

. Pour désactiver la vapeur pulsée, appuyez à nouveau sur le

bouton vapeur pulsée (18).

Principe de la vapeur

Un repassage impeccable exige une diffusion de vapeur au travers du tissu

pour détendre les ﬁbres et un séchage pour les ﬁxer. C’est à cette condition

seulement que les plis seront totalement éliminés.

Conseil : pour améliorer la qualité du repassage et augmenter

l’autonomie de votre appareil, repassez une fois le tissu avec la

vapeur, puis une seconde fois sans vapeur pour sécher le tissu.

Mise en marche

ATTENTION : Toujours remplir le réservoir d’eau (11) avant

de mettre votre Laurastar en marche. La mise en chauffe

sans eau pourrait le détériorer.

REMARQUE : La mise en chauffe sans eau invalide la garantie de

votre système !

Installation de la cartouche anticalcaire et remplissage

• Vériﬁez que la ﬁche secteur soit débranchée de la prise murale.

• Fixez la table dans sa position la plus haute.

• Sortez le réservoir d'eau (11). Ôtez les couvercles du réservoir d'eau. Insta-

llez le ﬁltre anticalcaire (13).

• Remplissez le réservoir avec de l'eau du robinet. L'eau ﬁltrée doit atteindre

le niveau MAX.

• Fermez avec les couvercles, puis replacez le réservoir sur le généra-

teur (15).

• Si l’eau ne coule pas, trempez la cartouche anti-calcaire dans de l’eau

fraîche pendant 3 minutes.

Interface utilisateur

• ON/OFF = le témoin lumineux vert clignote jusqu'à ce que l’appareil soit

prêt à être utilisé.

• = Option Laurastar SenSteam. Si votre appareil est équipé de l'op-

tion SenSteam (17), le témoin lumineux blanc signale que la fonction est

active.

•

= Option vapeur pulsée. Si votre appareil est équipé de l'option Va-

peur pulsée (18), le témoin lumineux blanc signale que la fonction est ON.

Bouton vitesse ventilateur (19) = 4 vitesses à choix. Le témoin lumineux

blanc signale l'intensité choisie entre les 4 vitesses.

• Témoin lumineux de ﬁn d'eau (20) = le témoin lumineux rouge de ﬁn

d’eau en forme de goutte signale qu'il n'y a plus d'eau dans le réservoir

(11).

Allumer votre appareil

• Branchez la ﬁche secteur (23) dans la prise. Si votre modèle comporte l'en-

rouleur automatique, tirez d'abord le câble d'alimentation jusqu'à ce que

le repère visuel de ﬁn de câble soit visible à la sortie de l'enrouleur.

• Appuyez sur le bouton principal ON/OFF (16). Le témoin lumineux vert clig-

note pendant 3 à 6 minutes.

• Quand le témoin vert reste allumé, l'appareil est prêt. Vous pouvez re-

passer.

• NOTE : Pour votre confort et votre sécurité, votre système Laurastar

s'éteint au bout de 10 minutes de non-utilisation.

Défroissage vertical

Suspendez le vêtement sur un cintre ou au moyen du support de défroissage

vertical (disponible sur www.laurastar.com ou chez votre revendeur agréé

Laurastar). En faisant un mouvement de haut en bas, touchez légèrement le

tissu tout en donnant de petits jets de vapeur. Remarque : presque tous les

tissus se défroissent facilement, à l’exception du coton, du lin et de certaines

soies.

Si un tissu se défroisse difﬁcilement, mettez-le sur la table et repassez-le

normalement.

AVERTISSEMENT : Ne pas repasser ou défroisser

verticalement des vêtements qui sont portés. Ne pas

défroisser verticalement en direction de personnes ou

d'animaux.

Remplissage

Témoin lumineux de ﬁn d'eau (20) et signal sonore

Un avertisseur sonore retentit et le témoin lumineux de ﬁn d'eau (20) clignote

pour signaler qu’il n’y a plus d’eau dans le réservoir d’eau.

Dès que le signal retentit, la vapeur s'arrête et vous devez alors remplir le

réservoir d'eau (11).

Pour remplir le réservoir d’eau (11)

• Retirez le réservoir d'eau (11) de son emplacement. Ôtez les couvercles

du réservoir.

• Remplissez le réservoir avec de l'eau du robinet. L'eau ﬁltrée doit atteindre

le niveau MAX.

• Fermez avec les couvercles, puis replacez le réservoir sur le générateur

(15).

Semelle protectrice (27)

La semelle protectrice est indispensable pour les tissus foncés qui sont

sensibles au lustrage, les tissus délicats comme la soie et les tissus

synthétiques qui ont tendance à coller au fer.

Comment utiliser la semelle protectrice (27) :

• Placez la pointe du fer (2) en premier à l’avant de la semelle protectrice

(27) et abaissez le fer pour le ﬁxer dans la semelle.

• Attendez environ 2 minutes pour que la semelle atteigne la bonne tem-

pérature.

• Pour retirer la semelle protectrice, tirez sur la languette et retirez le fer

encore chaud.

AVERTISSEMENT : La semelle protectrice et le fer sont chauds !

Prudence lorsque vous enlevez la semelle protectrice.

REMARQUE : TOUJOURS enlever la semelle protectrice

après utilisation.

Conseils : Pour le mohair, cachemire, velours et angora, ne pas les mettre

en contact avec la semelle protectrice (27). Repassez le tissu à une distance

d’environ 10 cm (4 in) tout en diffusant de la vapeur, aﬁn de ne pas le feutrer.

Puis prenez le vêtement en main et agitez-le pour lui redonner son

volume.

Pour le velours, le velours côtelé et le jersey, il est conseillé de vaporiser

sans semelle protectrice (27) à 2-3 cm (1-2 in) du tissu, puis de l'égaliser à

la main.

Rinçage du générateur de vapeur (fer froid seulement)

Pour prolonger l’efﬁcacité de votre appareil et éviter les traces de calcaire,

vous devez impérativement rincer régulièrement le générateur de vapeur (15).

AVERTISSEMENT : rincer à l’eau uniquement. Ne jamais utiliser

de produits de détartrage ou d'autres produits chimiques.

Pour le rinçage, conformez-vous aux instructions suivantes :

• Vériﬁez que la ﬁche secteur (23) soit débranchée de la prise murale.

• Fixez la table (1) dans sa position la plus haute, puis retirez le réservoir

d'eau (11). Mettez le bac de vidange (14) sous le bouchon de vidange (22).

• Dévissez d'abord le bouchon du générateur de vapeur (21) puis le bouchon

de vidange (22).

• Ôtez le petit et le grand couvercle (12) du réservoir d'eau. Retirez le com-

partiment du ﬁltre avec le ﬁltre (13).

• Remplissez le réservoir avec de l'eau chaude du robinet jusqu'au niveau

MAX.

• Placez le grand couvercle en forme d'entonnoir (12) à la place du réservoir

d'eau (11), au-dessus du générateur (15) et placez le réservoir par-dessus.

Puis laissez s'écouler toute l'eau.

• Répétez l’opération jusqu’à ce que l’eau sortant du générateur de vapeur

ne contienne plus de résidus. Si l’eau ne sort pas par l’oriﬁce de vidange,

appelez le Service Clients Laurastar.

• Après écoulement de toute l’eau, revissez les 2 bouchons. Jetez l’eau.

Replacez le ﬁltre dans le réservoir d'eau, refermez avec les couvercles et

replacez-le au-dessus du générateur (15).

Entretien

Pour la longévité de votre appareil, il faut rincer le générateur de vapeur et

nettoyer le fer à repasser toutes les 10 heures d’utilisation ou tous les mois.

AVERTISSEMENT : avant tout nettoyage, l’appareil doit être

éteint, débranché et froid. Laissez votre appareil refroidir au

moins 2h. Le nettoyage s’effectue toujours à froid !

REMARQUE ! Ne jamais utiliser de produits de détartrage ou

d’autres produits chimiques, rincer à l'eau uniquement !

Nettoyage du fer (2)

Si la semelle du fer est sale, utilisez le tapis de nettoyage en suivant les

instructions. Vous pouvez l’obtenir sur www.laurastar.com ou chez votre

revendeur agréé Laurastar.

Les taches récalcitrantes peuvent être nettoyées au moyen d’une éponge

abrasive pour vaisselle. Après avoir effectué cette opération, éliminez

l’oxyde d’aluminium présent sous la semelle en la nettoyant au moyen

d’un chiffon humide.

Nettoyez les ouvertures de sortie de la vapeur dès qu’elles sont bouchées ou

entartrées avec l’outil de nettoyage. Vous pouvez l’obtenir sur www.

laurastar.com ou chez votre revendeur agréé Laurastar.

Changement du ﬁltre anticalcaire (13)

Le ﬁltre anticalcaire doit être changé lorsque les granulés du ﬁltre sont

complétement bruns.

• Retirez le réservoir d'eau (11) de son emplacement. Ôtez les couvercles du

réservoir d'eau. Retirez le ﬁltre anticalcaire (13).

• Jetez le filtre (13) aux ordures ménagères et rincez le compartiment.

Installez un nouveau ﬁltre anticalcaire dans le réservoir d'eau.

• Remplissez le réservoir d'eau du robinet. L'eau ﬁltrée doit atteindre le ni-

veau MAX. Puis replacez le réservoir sur le générateur (15).

Note : vous pouvez mettre les éléments plastiques du réservoir d'eau (11)

au lave-vaisselle.

de la date d’achat ﬁgurant sur la facture ou sur le ticket de caisse.

La présente garantie limitée s’applique seulement à l’acheteur

d’origine et n’est pas transférable. Laurastar réparera ou remplacera

gratuitement et à son choix tout matériel défectueux pendant la

période de cette garantie limitée. Pour bénéﬁcier d’un service sous

garantie, le matériel endommagé devra être expédié ou remis à un

non domestique n’est pas couvert par cette garantie limitée. Par

“mauvaise utilisation ou usage abusif” des produits, on entend aussi

l’utilisation du matériel à une ﬁn et d’une manière non conforme

aux instructions spéciﬁées dans le mode d’emploi fourni avec le

matériel. Les exemples de “mauvaise utilisation ou d’usage abusif”

comprennent notamment mais sans limitation aucune des dommages

causés par la chute de l’appareil ou de l’un de ses composants sur

le sol, le non-rinçage du réservoir d’eau, le non-enlèvement de la

semelle protectrice après emploi, l’emploi d’un liquide autre que

par ou pour le compte de Laurastar qui peuvent être identiﬁés par la

marque, le nom commercial ou le logo Laurastar qui y est apposé. La

garantie ne s’applique pas aux produits, accessoires ou aux pièces

détachées non Laurastar.

La présente garantie est valable uniquement lorsque l’appareil

devient inutilisable, ou que son utilisation est considérablement

entravée, en raison d’un défaut de fabrication, d’un défaut

d’assemblage ou d’un défaut dans la matière de l’appareil, et si ce

défaut existait déjà lors de la remise de l’appareil à l’utilisateur.

Elle n’est pas valable, en particulier :

• lorsque l’entrave à l’utilisation de l’appareil est due à un usage

professionnel de l’appareil, à savoir un usage intensif pour lequel

l’utilisateur reçoit une rémunération pécuniaire

• l’utilisation de produits, accessoires et pièces détachées non

2. Prétentions de l’utilisateur

Lorsqu’un utilisateur fait valoir, de façon conforme à la présente

garantie, une prétention que cette dernière lui accorde, Laurastar a

le libre choix de mettre en oeuvre le mode d’élimination du défaut le

plus approprié. La présente garantie ne confère à l’utilisateur aucune

prétention ni aucun droit supplémentaire ; en particulier, l’utilisateur

ne pourra pas réclamer le remboursement de frais en relation avec le

défaut, ni une indemnité pour d’éventuels dommages subséquents.

Par ailleurs, le transport de l’appareil du domicile de l’utilisateur

jusque chez Laurastar, ainsi que le transport de retour, se font aux

risques de l’utilisateur.

3. Durée de validité

La présente garantie est valable uniquement pour les prétentions

qu’elle accorde à l’utilisateur et que ce dernier a fait valoir auprès de

Laurastar durant le délai de garantie.

Le délai de garantie est d’1 an pour les pays non-membres de

l’Union Européenne et de 2 ans pour les pays membres de l’Union

Européenne ainsi que la Suisse, dès la livraison de l’appareil à

l’utilisateur. Si des défauts sont annoncés après l’échéance du délai

de garantie ou si les documents ou preuves, nécessaires pour faire

valoir les défauts selon la présente déclaration, ne sont présentés

qu’après l’échéance du délai de garantie, l’utilisateur n’aura aucun

droit ni aucune prétention en vertu de la présente garantie.

4. Avis immédiat des défauts

Lorsque l’utilisateur découvre un défaut de l’appareil, il est tenu de le

communiquer sans délai à Laurastar. Dans le cas contraire, il perd les

prétentions que la présente garantie lui accorde.

5. Modalités d’exercice des prétentions qui découlent de la

présente déclaration

Pour faire valoir les prétentions qui découlent de la présente garantie,

l’utilisateur doit contacter le Service Clients Laurastar :

• par téléphone

• par e-mail

• par fax.

Il doit suivre les instructions du Service Clients et envoyer à ses

propres risques :

• l’appareil qui présente le ou les défauts

• une copie du contrat d’achat, de la facture, du ticket de caisse

ou tout autre document apte à prouver la date ou le lieu d’achat.

Le Service Clients est à disposition pour tout renseignement

supplémentaire à ce sujet.

Si un appareil est retourné au centre de service agréé Laurastar alors

qu’il ne présente aucun défaut, les frais d’envoi et de retour sont à la

charge de l’utilisateur.

6. Service après-vente Laurastar

Si un appareil Laurastar est confié au centre de service agréé

pour une intervention en dehors des clauses de garantie ou après

l’expiration du délai de garantie, celle-ci sera considérée comme une

«réparation hors garantie» et fera l’objet d’une facture.

Clause spéciale valable uniquement pour la France :

Outre la garantie contractuelle exposée ci-dessus, les clients

bénéﬁcient de la garantie légale des vices cachés prévue aux articles

1641 et suivants du Code Civil.

• Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich für die Be-

nutzung in Privathaushalten bestimmt.

• Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät ausschließlich

im Innenbereich und zum Bügeln von Textilien

gemäß dieser Bedienungsanleitung.

• Im Notfall Netzstecker sofort aus der Steck-

dose ziehen.

• Tauchen Sie kein Geräteteil in Wasser oder

andere Flüssigkeiten ein.

• Das Gerät darf AUSSCHLIESSLICH nur an

geerdete Wandsteckdosen angeschlossen

werden. Wir empfehlen FI-Schutzschalter.

Verwenden Sie NIEMALS eine ﬂiegende

Steckdose, eine Mehrfachsteckdose oder

ein Verlängerungskabel. Der Netzstecker

muss im Notfall leicht erreichbar sein.

• Die Bügeleisensohle und der Dampfstrahl

sind sehr heiß. Wenn Sie Kleidungsstücke

bügeln oder bedampfen, dürfen diese dabei

NICHT von einer Person am Körper getragen

werden.

• Beim vertikalen Bedampfen den Dampf nicht

auf Menschen oder Tiere richten.

• Das Gerät erzeugt Hitze. Halten Sie Ihre Hän-

de und Ihren Körper während der Benutzung

von der Bügeleisensohle und vom Dampf-

strahl fern – beides ist HEISS. Die Berührung

mit heißen Metallteilen, heißem Wasser oder

Dampf kann zu Verbrennungen führen. Beim

Zurücklegen des Dampfbügeleisens auf die

Bügeleisenablage ist Vorsicht geboten.

• DER KONTAKT MIT UNTER DRUCK STE-

HENDEM DAMPF KANN SCHWERE VER-

BRENNUNGEN VERURSACHEN.

• Öffnen Sie beim Betrieb des Gerätes NICHT

den Einfüllverschluss oder den Entleerungs-

verschluss.

• Gehen Sie beim Abschrauben des Dampf-

erzeuger-Verschlusses und Entleerungsver-

schlusses mit Vorsicht vor – nach wenigen

Drehungen entweicht unter Druck stehender,

heißer Dampf.

• Treten Sie beim Abschrauben und beim Ent-

fernen des Dampferzeuger-Verschlusses und

des Entleerungs-Verschlusses vom Gerät zu-

rück – es wird heißer Dampf entweichen.

• Das eingeschaltete Gerät niemals unbeauf-

sichtigt lassen.

• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, bevor Sie den

Stecker in die Wandsteckdose stecken bzw.

ihn herausziehen. Lassen Sie das Gerät

IMMER mindestens zwei Stunden abkühlen,

bevor Sie es entleeren.

• DARF NICHT IN DIE HÄNDE VON KINDERN

GELANGEN.

• Dieses Gerät darf NICHT von Kindern, Perso-

nen mit eingeschränkten körperlichen, sen-

sorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder

unerfahrenen Personen bedient werden, es

sei denn, sie werden von einer Person beauf-

sichtigt, die für ihre Sicherheit verantwortlich

ist. Dieses Gerät darf NICHT von Kindern

unter acht Jahren benutzt werden, selbst

unter Aufsicht oder wenn sie eine Schulung

absolviert haben.

• Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen immer auf einer

ﬂachen, stabilen und feuerfesten Fläche ab.

Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen NIEMALS auf das

Bügelbrett, den Bügelbezug oder auf die

• Reinigungs-, Reparatur- und Wartungsarbei-

ten am Gerät dürfen NUR vorgenommen wer-

den, wenn das Bügeleisen ausgeschaltet, kalt

und mindestens zwei Stunden abgekühlt ist.

Schrauben Sie die Verschlüsse vorsichtig ab:

Der noch vorhandene Dampf steht unter

Druck und tritt nach einigen Umdrehungen

aus. Es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr.

• Das Netzkabel NICHT mit heißen Flächen in

Berührung bringen. Lassen Sie das Bü-

geleisen vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es

wegräumen.

• KEIN TRINKWASSER.

• Das Gerät NICHT benutzen, wenn es durch

Herunterfallen beschädigt wurde, sichtliche

Anzeichen von Schäden aufweist oder der

Dampfschlauch oder das Netzkabel beschä-

digt sind. Wenden Sie sich zur Instandsetzung

des Geräts ausschließlich an den autorisierten

Laurastar-Kundendienst.

• Bei unsachgemäßer Montage kann es bei

der Benutzung des Geräts zu Stromschlägen

kommen.

• Gerät NICHT ohne Wasser betreiben.

• Das Gehäuse des Geräts mit einem weichen,

feuchten Tuch reinigen. KEINE Lösungsmittel,

KEIN Öl und KEIN Benzin verwenden.

• Kein anderes Gerät mit hoher Leistung (Watt)

gleichzeitig in Betrieb nehmen, damit Ihr

Stromkreis nicht überlastet wird.

• Den Entleerungs- oder Dampferzeuger-Ver-

schluss NIE während des Gerätebetriebs ab-

schrauben. Schrauben Sie den Entleerungs-/

Dampferzeuger-Verschluss erst ab, wenn das

Gerät vollkommen abgekühlt ist. Vorsicht: Der

noch vorhandene Dampf steht unter Druck

und tritt nach einigen Umdrehungen aus. Es

besteht Verbrennungsgefahr.

• Versuchen Sie NICHT, Gegenstände in die

Öffnungen des Geräts zu stecken. Sollte

Wasser oder ein Fremdkörper in das Gerät

gelangen, sofort den Stecker aus der Wand-

steckdose ziehen. Wenden Sie sich zur In-

standsetzung des Geräts ausschließlich an

den autorisierten Laurastar-Kundendienst.

• Zum Ausstecken NICHT am Stromkabel zie-

hen, sondern den Stecker fest in die Hand

nehmen und herausziehen. Andernfalls be-

steht die Gefahr eines Stromschlages

• Stromkabel und Dampfschlauch so posi-

tionieren, dass man nicht daran ziehen oder

hängenbleiben kann. Stellen Sie auch si-

cher, dass niemand darüber stolpern kann.

• Hinweise zum Umweltschutz und zur

Entsorgung:

Das gebrauchte Gerät NICHT im Haus-

müll entsorgen! Erkundigen Sie sich bei

den kommunalen oder örtlichen Behörden

über Möglichkeiten zur sachgemäßen und

umweltfreundlichen Entsorgung.

Aufbauen und Verstauen

Aufbauen Ihres Bügelsystems

• Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus der Verpackung und stellen Sie es in geschlos-

sener Position senkrecht auf den Boden.

• Halten Sie den Bügeltisch mit einer Hand an der Seite der Bügeleisenabla-

ge (6). Umfassen Sie mit der anderen Hand das Bügelbrett (1) in der Mitte

und klappen Sie es horizontal (maximale Höhe).

• Klappen Sie die Bügeleisenablage auf.

• Ziehen Sie den Bügelbrettbezug (4) von der Bügeleisenablage zur Spitze des

Bügelbrettes hin auf und vergewissern Sie sich, dass er richtig sitzt. Der

mitgelieferte Bezug ist speziell so konzipiert, dass sich die Luft bei Betrieb

des Ansaug- und Gebläsesystems gleichmäßig über die Bügelﬂäche ver-

teilt. Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Laurastar Bezüge, denn nur so kann das

System seine volle Leistung erbringen. Der Bezug kann bei 30°C (warmem

Wasser) gewaschen werden; nicht schleudern.

• Nehmen Sie das Bügeleisen (2) aus seiner Sicherheitsbox (5) und stellen

Sie es auf die Bügeleisenablage (6).

• Sie können die Bügeleisenablage wieder auf die Bügelﬂäche umklappen

(6a) wenn Sie dies wünschen.

• Führen Sie den Kabelhalter (8) in eines der beiden Löcher seitlich der Bü-

geleisenablage (6) und befestigen Sie den Dampfschlauch am Kabelhalter.

Führen Sie den Haken der Schutzsohle (28) in das andere Loch ein.

• Durch Drücken der Griffe (7) können Sie den Bügeltisch tiefer stellen (sechs

verschiedene Höhen). Zum Erhöhen des Tisches umfassen Sie die Bügelﬂä-

che und ziehen ihn einfach nach oben, ohne die Griffe zu benutzen.

• Zum Bewegen Ihres Laurastar Systems einfach die Spitze des Bügelbrettes

anheben und rollen.
