ISTRUZIONI PER LA CORRETTA INSTALLAZIONE DEI GIUNTI A COMPRESSIONE
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CORRECT INSTALLATION OF COMPRESSION CONNECTORS
I nostri connettori tipo “MT” sono stati studiati per linee di media tensione, fino a 33 kV.
Appositi smussi agli estremi dei connettori agevolano la ricostruzione dell’isolante sul cavo.
I giunti possono essere di tipo passante (-TD) oppure di tipo cieco (-GC); nel secondo caso uno stop centrale forma una barriera
solida tra i due conduttori che devono essere connessi; ciò evita la migrazione di olii
o grassi che, presenti su un conduttore, potrebbero contaminare l’altro.
Nella tabella che segue sul retro sono riportati i tipi di giunto, la sezione del conduttore e le matrici
necessarie ad effettuare le compressioni.

Our MT series connectors are designed to join conductors in medium voltage applications, up to 33 kV.
Tapered sections at the ends of the connectors facilitate reconstruction of the insulation on the joint.
The connectors can be through type (-TD) or blocked (-GC); in the second case a central stop forms a solid barrier
between the two conductors being joined; this prevents the migration of oils or greases, from one conductor to
the other.
The table overleaf shows the connector part numbers, the conductor size and the die sets necessary to perform crimping operations.
Su ciascun connettore sono chiaramente visibili:
– Il marchio di fabbrica.
– Il riferimento del tipo.
– La sezione del conduttore in rame cui è destinato.
– Il riferimento per la compressione.
Per la compressione si deve procedere nel seguente modo:
inserire il cavo sino allo stop centrale, quindi comprimere in cor-
rispondenza delle tacche segnate su ciascuna metà del giunto.
A compressioni ultimate, togliere con una pinza gli sfridi laterali.
Each connector is marked with:
– Cembre Trade Mark.
– The connector part number.
– The size of the Copper conductor for which it is intended.
– The die set reference.
The crimping process is performed as follows: insert the conductor
up to the central stop, then apply crimps over the lines marked on
each half of the connector.
Once all crimps are completed, remove any flash with pliers and
file as necessary.
