materiali usati, senza nessuna spesa per il cliente. La garanzia non è applicabile
in caso di danni legati ad un uso improprio, ad abusi, ad alterazioni o ad uno
smontaggio effettuato da personale non autorizzato. Per riparazioni, nel rispet-
to delle suddette condizioni, inviare il prodotto munito della ricevuta di acquisto
al rivenditore locale più vicino.
WARRANTY
The product has 2-YEAR warranty from purchase date which is certified by the
receipt or invoice. The distributor reserves the right either to repair or replace
necessary parts to correct defects in the materials or workmanship without
any charge. The warranty does not apply to damage resulting from failure to
follow the operating instructions, accidents, abuse, alteration or disassembly by
unauthorized individuals. In case you need to get the product repaired and you
fulfil the conditions of warranty, send it to the nearest retailer together with the
purchase receipt.

Introduzione
Grazie per aver scelto un maniglione da muro in plastica della linea MOPE-
DIA by Moretti. I maniglioni da muro della linea MOPEDIA by Moretti sono
stati progettati e realizzati per soddisfare tutte le vostre esigenze per un
utilizzo pratico, corretto e sicuro. Questo manuale contiene dei piccoli sug-
gerimenti per un corretto uso del dispositivo da voi scelto e dei preziosi
consigli per la vostra sicurezza. Si consiglia di leggere attentamente la to-
talità del presente manuale prima di usare il maniglione da muro. In caso
di dubbi vi preghiamo di contattare il rivenditore , il quale saprà aiutarvi e
consigliarvi correttamente.
Destinazione d’uso
Il maniglione da muro della linea MOPEDIA by Moretti è un ausilio per la
zona bagno destinato ad aiutare le persone con difficoltà motorie.

La Moretti S.p.A. dichiara sotto la sua esclusiva responsabilità che i prodot-
ti fabbricati ed immessi in commercio dalla stessa Moretti S.p.a. e facenti
parte della famiglia maniglioni da muro in plastica sono conformi alle dispo-
sizioni applicabili della direttiva 93/42/CEE del 14 Giugno 1993 riguardante
i dispositivi medici .
A tal scopo la MORETTI S.p.A. garantisce e dichiara sotto la propria esclusi-
va responsabilità quanto segue:

1. I dispositivi in oggetto soddisfano i requisiti essenziali richiesti dall’al-
legato I° della direttiva 93/42/CEE come prescritto dall’allegato VII° della
suddetta direttiva.
2. I dispositivi in oggetto NON SONO STRUMENTI DI MISURA.
3. I dispositivi in oggetto NON SONO DESTINATI AD INDAGINI CLINICHE.
4. I dispositivi in oggetto vengono commercializzati in confezione NON
STERILE.
5. I dispositivi in oggetto sono da considerarsi come appartenenti alla classe I°.
6. NON È CONSENTITO utilizzare e/o installare i dispositivi in oggetto al di
fuori della destinazione d’uso prevista dalla MORETTI S.p.A.
7. MORETTI S.p.A. mantiene e mette a disposizione delle Autorità Compe-
tenti la documentazione tecnica comprovante la conformità alla Direttiva
93/42/CEE.
Montaggio
• Scegliere un muro sufficientemente solido e sicuro dove poter installare
il maniglione.
• Assicurarsi che sia possibile praticare dei fori nel muro in totale sicurezza
per persone e cose.
• Assicurarsi di posizionare il maniglione ad una distanza tale da terra in
modo che possa essere effettivamente di aiuto per la persona che lo dovrà
utilizzare.
• Sollevare il copri flangia in modo da scoprire il supporto con i fori.
• Appoggiare la maniglia al muro nella posizione richiesta e marcare il pun-
to in cui si trovano i fori.
• Togliere il maniglione e praticare i fori nel muro posizionando i tasselli
della giusta dimensione.
• Riposizionare il maniglione sopra ai fori avvitando le viti (si raccomanda
di usare viti in acciaio diametro 5mm x 50 mm di lunghezza con la testa
svasata).
• Stringere bene le viti.
• Infine, coprire le flangia con l’apposito copri flangia. Questo darà alla ma-
niglia un aspetto più elegante e coprirà le viti.
N.B. Si raccomanda l’uso di viti d’acciaio inox oppure zincate, si riduce
così la comparsa di ruggine.

Avvertenze per l’utilizzo
Per un utilizzo corretto del dispositivo fare riferimento attentamente al
seguente manuale.
Prestare sempre attenzione alla presenza di bambini.
Modalità d’uso
Il maniglione disposto in orizzontale diventa un efficace punto di appog-
gio per aiutarsi nei movimenti ed anche per sedersi e rialzarsi dal wc.
Attenzione! NON GRAVARE MAI SUL MANIGLIONE CON TUTTO IL
PESO DEL CORPO, MA UTILIZZARLO SEMPLICEMENTE PER MANTE-
NERE IL GIUSTO EQUILIBRIO E PER RIDURRE LO SFORZO NECESSA-
RIO AL MOVIMENTO.
Manutenzione
I dispositivi della linea MOPEDIA by Moretti al momento dell’immissione
in commercio sono controllati accuratamente e provvisti di marchio CE.
Prima di ogni utilizzo assicurarsi sempre del corretto fissaggio delle viti
al muro.
Pulizia
Per la pulizia delle parti utilizzare esclusivamente acqua tiepida con de-
tergenti neutri.

E’ vietato l’utilizzo del seguente prodotto per fini diversi da quanto defi-
nito nel seguente manuale.
La MORETTI S.p.A. declina qualsiasi responsabilità su danni provocati
da un uso improprio del dispositivo o da un uso diverso da quanto indi-
cato nel presente manuale.
Il produttore si riserva il diritto di apportare modifiche al dispositivo e
al seguente manuale senza preavviso allo scopo di migliorarne le carat-
teristiche.

products is a guarantee of comfort, safety and reliability. MOPEDIA by MO-
RETTI S.p.A. plastic safety bath handles are designed and built to meet all
your demands for practical, correct use. This user’s manual provides some
suggestions as to how to correctly use the bath handles you have chosen
and gives some valuable advice for your safety. Please read through the
manual carefully before using the plastic safety bath handles. Should you
have any queries, please contact your retailer for advice and assistance.
Intended use
The MOPEDIA safety bath handle by Moretti is a bathroom aid for peo-
ple with motor difficulty.
EC Declaration of conformity
MORETTI S.p.A. hereby declares, under its own exclusive responsibility, that
the products manufactured and sold by MORETTI S.p.A. and belonging to
the PLASTIC SAFETY BATH HANDLES category are compliant with the ap-
plicable provisions outlined in the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC. To
this end MORETTI S.p.A. guarantees and declares as follows, under its own
responsibility:
1. The devices in question satisfy the essential requirements of Annex I of
ENGLISH ENGLISH
directive 93/42/EEC as prescribed by Annex VII of the said directive.
2. The devices in question ARE NOT MEASUREMENT TOOLS.
3. The devices in question ARE NOT INTENDED FOR CLINICAL INVESTI-
GATION.
4.The devices in question are sold in NON STERILE packing.
5. .The devices in question should be considered as belonging to class I.
6. DO NOT use/install the devices in question for any other purpose than
that expressly indicated by MORETTI S.p.A.
7. MORETTI S.p.A maintains and submits the documentation certifying con-
formity with Directive 93/42/EEC to the proper authorities.
Assembling
- Choose a solid and safe wall to install the handle.
- Make sure that it is possible to drill the wall safely for people and things.
- Make sure to position the handle bar at the most suitable height for
users.
- Lift the flange cover to show the hole screw.
- Offer the handle up to the wall in the desired position and mark the screw
hole position.
- Drill the wall and push correct sized plugs for the screw you are using into
the wall.
- Offer the handle up to the wall, and drive the screws (we recommend using
stainless steel countersunk screws 5x50mm).
- Tighten well the screws.
- Finally, clip the screw cover over the flanges. This will give to your handle
an elegant appearance and hide the screw head.
NOTE STAINLESS STEEL SCREWS ARE RECOMMENDED TO REDUCE
THE RISK OF RUST

For a correct use please make reference to the following manual.

Directions for use
The safety bath handle if horizontally placed becomes an efficient foo-
thold for movement such as sit or stand up from wc.
Caution! DON’T BEAR DOWN ON THE HANDLE WITH WHOLE BODY
WEIGHT, JUST USE THE HANDLE AS SUPPORT FOR MOVEMENT.
Maintenance
The MOPEDIA by Moretti devices are carefully checked before the mar-
keting and provided of CE mark. Before every use make sure the bath
handle is correctly fixed to the wall.
Cleaning
We recommend to use only warm water with mild soap.
General warnings
Do not use the product for a purpose not indicated in this manual. Mo-
retti S.p.A declines all responsibilities for any consequences resulting
from an incorrect use of this product and from unauthorized alteration
to the frame of the product. The manufacturer can modify the device or
the instruction manual without prior notification.
