dispositivi medici e successive modifiche.
Questo viene confermato dal marchio CE e certificato
dall'Ente Notificato 0123 (TUV Suddeutschland Group). Ogni
sfigmomanometro è dotato di un numero di lotto per il quale
viene registrato.
GARANZIA
Gli sfigmomanometri MORETTI sono coperti da garanzia per un
periodo di 24 mesi (garanzia sul retro della copertina). Sono
esclusi dalla garanzia le parti di usura, nonché danneggiamenti
in seguito a trattamento non appropriato.
DESCRIZIONE
Gli sfigmomanometri ad aneroide MORETTI lavorano in modo
auscultatorio secondo il metodo Riva Rocci/Korotkoff.
Gli sfigmomanometri ad aneroide sono disponibili in 3 modelli
diversi:
- ANEROIDE PALMARE A QUADRANTE GRANDE
- ANEROIDE PALMARE A QUADRANTE PICCOLO
- ANEROIDE CON MONOPALLA SEPARATA
Tutti i modelli sono disponibili anche con bracciale e
fonendoscopio incorporato per la automisurazione.
L’aneroide palmare a quadrante grande permette una facile
lettura, l’aneroide palmare a quadrante piccolo consente un
minimo ingombro. Entrambi sono utilizzabili con una sola mano
grazie al sistema della monopalla che forma un unico blocco con
il manometro. L’aneroide con monopalla separata è il classico
misuratore di pressione ad aneroide; questo sistema riduce al
minimo l’ingombro dell’apparecchio mantenendone invariate le
caratteristiche tecniche e di affidabilità.
FUNZIONAMENTO
Gli sfigmomanometri utilizzano il sistema auscultatorio Riva
Rocci/Korotkoff. La pressione d'aria nel bracciale, necessaria
alla misurazione, viene creata mediante la monopalla. La valvola
di sfiato permette una fine regolazione dell'uscita dell'aria dal
bracciale consentendo la misurazione.
Ogni manometro ha una scala di lettura con un campo di
misurazione da 0 a 300mmHg (mmHg= millimetri di mercurio)
con suddivisione di 2mmHg e tacche maggiori ogni 10mmHg per
una facile lettura. La precisione di misurazione in tutto il campo
è di ±3mmHg.
Ogni sfigmomanometro viene calibrato e sottoposto ad un
controllo finale completo al 100%.
IMPOSTAZIONI PER LA MISURAZIONE
La misurazione deve essere eseguita in posizione seduta.
Posizionate il gomito sul tavolo in modo che lo strumento sia
alla stessa altezza del cuore. Il braccio sinistro deve essere
libero, gli indumenti, se arrotolati, non devono stringere troppo
il braccio. Girate il palmo della mano verso l'alto. Non muovetevi
e non parlate durante la misurazione.
IMPORTANTE:
LA MISURA DEL BRACCIALE DEVE ESSERE CORRETTA
Determinante per la scelta della misura del bracciale è la
circonferenza della parte superiore del braccio del paziente.
L'apparecchio viene fornito in composizione standard con un
bracciale tipo adulti 1 con D-ring.
Questo bracciale è adatto ad una circonferenza della parte
superiore del braccio da 28 a 35cm. Per differenti misure si
devono usare bracciali secondo la tabella alla pagina 5 di questo
manuale.
APPLICAZIONE DEL BRACCIALE
Prima dell'applicazione del bracciale deve essere tolta
completamente l'aria. Fissare bene il bracciale sulla parte
superiore del braccio sinistro. Il bordo inferiore del bracciale
deve essere ad almeno 2cm di distanza sopra la piega del
gomito, alla altezza del cuore. Si deve poter giusto inserire
ancora un dito fra il bracciale e braccio. La marcatura del
bracciale deve essere posizionata sulla arteria.
APPLICAZIONI DEL BRACCIALE A D-RING PER APPARECCHI
PER L'AUTOMISURAZIONE
Spingere il bracciale sopra il braccio sinistro e stare attenti che i
tubi siano rivolti verso il basso (in direzione della mano).
Prendere l'estremità del bracciale, tirare sopra la staffa di
metallo verso sinistra e fissare premendo l'adesivo a velcro.
Collegare il fonendoscopio.
ESECUZIONE DELLA MISURAZIONE
Prendere la monopalla nella mano destra e controllare che la
valvola di scarico della pressione sia chiusa.
(Girare tra pollice e indice in senso orario).
Premendo la monopalla il bracciale si gonfia. La lancetta
dell’apparecchio sale ed indica la corrispondente pressione nel
bracciale. Gonfiate fino a 20- 30mmHg sopra il valore superiore
della pressione che vi aspettate. Attendete per 4-5 battiti del
polso ed aprite di poco la valvola di scarico in modo che la
lancetta scenda di 2-3mmHg per secondo. Osservate la lancetta
che ricade lentamente. Appena sentite il battito, leggete il valore

MORETTI sphygmomanometers are manufactured in compliance
with both the EN 1060-1-2 standard and the EEC directive 93/42
dated 14 June 1993 regarding medical devices and its following
modifications.
The CE mark shows proof of this and so does the 0123 Notified
Body (TUV Suddeutschland Group).
Each sphygmomanometer is given a lot number under which it is
registered.
GUARANTEE
MORETTI sphygmomanometers are guaranteed for a 24 month
period (you will find the guarantee coupon on the back of the
cover). The guarantee covers neither parts subject to wear and
tear nor damages due to improper use.
DESCRIPTION
MORETTI aneroid sphygmomanometers work according to the
Riva Rocci/Korotkoff auscultating method.
3 different types of aneroid sphygmomanometers are available:
- ONE HAND TYPE WITH LARGE DIAL
- ONE HAND TYPE WITH SMALL DIAL
- STANDARD TYPE WITH LATEX BULB APART
All models are also available with a stethoscope integrated into
the cuff for self-measurement.
The one hand aneroid sphygmomanometer with a large dial enables
an easy reading. The one hand aneroid sphygmomanometer with a
small dial is less cumbersome. Both instruments can be easily used
with just one hand owing to the PVC bulb which is assembled
directly on the manometer. The model with the PVC bulb apart is a
classic aneroid instrument to measure blood pressure. This system
makes the appliance compact but keeps its technical features and
reliability unchanged.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Sphygmomanometers work according to the Riva
Rocci/Korotkoff auscultating method. The PVC bulb enables you
to generate the necessary air pressure inside the cuff. The
release valve makes it possible to precisely regulate the air
outlet from the cuff, which allows you to measure blood
pressure.
Each manometer has a reading scale ranging from 0 to 300
mmHg (mmHg=millimeters of mercury). Minor notches are
traced every 2mmHg and so are larger notches every 10mmHg
for an easy reading. The measurement precision is more or less
3mmHg.
Each sphygmomanometer is gauged and undergoes a final,
complete checking.
CONDITIONS FOR AN ACCURATE MEASUREMENT
The measurement must be carried out with the patient sitting.
Place the patient's elbow on the table so as to get the appliance
at the same height as his/her heart. The left arm must be free. If
the clothes are rolled up they must not oversqueeze the arm.
The patient must turn the palm of his/her hand upwards, sit still
and he/she should not speak while the pressure is being
measured.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
THE CUFF MUST BE THE RIGHT SIZE
To choose the right size of cuff you must know the circumference of
the patient's arm. The instrument is provided with a cuff for adults
of the adult 1 type with D-ring. This cuff is appropriate for a
circumference ranging from 28 to 35cm. For other sizes you should
use cuffs according to the table which is on page 5 in this manual.
APPLYING THE CUFF
Before applying the cuff, completely remove the air in it.
Properly fasten the cuff on the upper part of the left arm. The
lower edge of the cuff must be at least 2 centimeters above the
bend of the arm, at heart's height. You should leave just enough
room between cuff and arm to fit a finger in it. The label on the
cuff must be placed on the artery.
HOW TO APPLY THE CUFF WITH D-RING IN CASE OF
APPLIANCES FOR SELF MEASUREMENT
Place the cuff on the upper part of your left arm and make sure
that the tubes are turned downwards (towards your hand). Grab
the end of the cuff, pull the metal bracket leftwards and fix the
cuff pushing on the Velcro adhesive. Get the tube of the
stethoscope connected.
TAKING A MEASUREMENT
Take the bulb in your right hand and make sure that the
pressure-release valve is closed (turn it clockwise between your
thumb and your forefinger).
Squeezing the bulb inflates the cuff. The pointer of the instrument
moves and shows the corresponding pressure in the cuff. Keep
pumping until you reach 20-30mmHg beyond the highest pressure
that you expect. Wait for 4 to 5 pulses and open the release
valve a bit so as to get the pointer go down by 2 to 3mmHg per
second. Watch the pointer slowly go down.
As soon as you hear the pulse, read the value indicated by the
pointer on the manometer. This value corresponds to the systolic

da difetti di fabbricazione o nei materiali usati, senza nessuna

TECHNICAL FEATURES
su cui si trova la lancetta sul manometro. Questo valore è la
pressione sistolica o pressione massima. Seguono più battiti che
vanno perdendo di intensità. Nel momento che udite l'ultimo
battito ancora percettibile leggete il valore su cui si trova la
lancetta sul manometro. Questo valore segna la vostra pressione
diastolica o pressione minima.
La misurazione è terminata. Aprite la vite della valvola per far
uscire completamente l'aria del bracciale.
SCELTA DELLA MISURA DEL BRACCIALE
La seguente tabella informa sul corretto ambito di utilizzazione del
bracciale. I nostri bracciali seguono la seguente classificazione:
Il modello adulti 1 con D-ring (anello in acciaio che consente la
chiusura a doppio del bracciale) è ottimo per l’automisurazione.
Il modello adulti 2 è il classico modello a strappo. Tutte le camere
d’aria sono in pvc privo di lattice. Tutti i modelli sono disponibili
nella versione ad un tubo e due tubi.
ISTRUZIONI PER IL LAVAGGIO
I bracciali devono essere lavati a 30°C con un programma e con
detersivo per tessuti delicati. NON STIRARE. Il bracciale può
essere pulito anche con una spugna o spazzola morbida e
detersivo per delicati. Risciacquare con acqua.
INDICAZIONI IMPORTANTI
- In nessun caso immettere aria al di sopra dei 300mmHg.
- Il tempo di misurazione non deve superare i 2 minuti.
- Non effettuare una ripetizione della misurazione prima
che siano trascorsi almeno 5 minuti.
- Salvaguardare lo strumento da forti scosse ed urti.
- Proteggere lo strumento da sporco ed umidità.
- Evitare danneggiamenti delle parti in gomma tramite
oggetti taglienti ed appuntiti.
- Conservare a temperature tra i 10°C ed i 40°C con
umidità relativa massima 85%.
- Preservare lo strumento ed in particolare le parti in
gomma da irradiazione diretta da raggi UV.
MANUTEZIONE E CURA
1) Manometro
Il manometro non richiede manutenzione. In caso di necessità
rivolgetevi ad un centro autorizzato. Per la pulizia raccomandiamo
un panno morbido e asciutto.
2) Monopalla in pvc privo di lattice
Dovendo sostituire la monopalla fate attenzione che le parti di
contatto siano perfettamente pulite e asciutte così da garantire
una buona tenuta e non consentire sfiati d'aria.
3) Bracciale
Per la pulizia del bracciale, togliere la camera d'aria in pvc e
chiudere l'adesivo a velcro (posizionando all'interno l'anello di
metallo per i modelli con D-ring).
ASSISTENZA E RICALIBRATURA
Gli sfigmomanometri, al momento dell'immissione in commercio,
sono calibrati e provvisti di marchio CE.
Per la sicurezza del medico e del paziente, si raccomanda di far
controllare dal produttore o da un laboratorio autorizzato,
almeno ogni due anni, l'idoneità all'uso e se necessario far
eseguire una nuova calibratura. Apparecchi fuori tolleranza di
+/- 3mmHg devono essere ricalibrati.
In caso di riparazione devono essere riutilizzati ricambi ed
eccessori originali.

The measurement is over. Open the screw on the valve so as to
let the air in the cuff completely out.
CHOOSING THE SIZE OF THE CUFF
The following table gives you some information on how to properly
use the cuff. Our cuffs comply with the following classification:
The adult 1 model is provided with a D-ring, that is a steel ring
which makes a double fastening of the cuff possible. It is very
convenient for self-measurement.
The adult 2 model is a classic Velcro model. All bulbs are in pvc
latex free and each model is available with 1 or 2 tubes.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
The cuffs must be washed at 30°C with a programme and a
detergent for delicate clothes. DO NOT IRON.
You can also clean the cuff with a sponge or a soft brush and a
detergent for delicate clothes. Rinse with water.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Never let in air beyond 300mmHg.
- The time used to measure blood pressure must not
exceed 2minutes.
- Never make a second measurement before at least 5
minutes after the first one.
- Protect the instrument from violent jerks and shocks.
- Keep the instrument in a clean, dry place.
- Beware of damaging the rubber parts with sharp, cutting objects.
- Keep the instrument at a temperature between 10 and 40°C
with a relative humidity not exceeding 85%.
- Keep the instrument and the rubber parts in particular
away from UV rays.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
1) Manometer
The manometer requires no maintenance. If necessary, address
your own dealer. We advise you to clean the manometer with a
soft, dry material.
2) Pvc latex free bulb
If you have to replace the latex bulb make sure that the
connecting parts are completely dry and clean so that they can
firmly hold together. You will thus avoid any air leak.
3) Cuff
Before cleaning the cuff, remove the pvc latex free inner tube
and close the Velcro adhesive (placing the metal ring inside if
you have a D-ring model).
SERVICING AND GAUGING
When put on the market, the sphygmomanometers are gauged
and provided with the CE mark. For the doctor and the patient's
safety, we advise you to have your sphygmomanometer checked
at least every 2 years by the manufacturer or by your own
dealer. They will make sure that it is in good working condition
and if necessary they will regauge it. Appliances with a tolerance
exceeding 3mmHg must be regauged. In case of repair, original
spare parts and accessories must be used.

which is certified by the receipt or invoice. The distribu-
tor reserves the right either to repair or replace necessary
parts to correct defects in the materials or workmanship
without any charge.
The warranty does not apply to damage resulting from fai-
lure to follow the operating instructions, accidents, abuse,
alteration or disassembly by unauthorized individuals. In
the case you need to get your device repaired and you ful-
fil the conditions of warranty, send the device to the nea-
rest retailer together with the purchase receipt.
