Introduzione
Il terminale grafco pGDx da 10 pollici appartiene alla famiglia di terminali
touch screen pensata per rendere semplice e intuitivo l’interfacciamento
dell’utente con i controlli della famiglia pCO/c.pCO. La tecnologia elettronica
utilizzata e il display a 16.7 M colori permettono di gestire immagini di alta
qualità e funzionalità avanzate per ottenere un elevato standard estetico. Il
pannello touch screen, inoltre, facilita l’interazione uomomacchina rendendo,
di fatto, più facile la navigazione tra le varie schermate. All'avvio è possibile
selezionare la modalità di funzionamento, BROWSER oppure RUNTIME

Avvertenze per l’installazione
Per una installazione a regola d’arte rivolgersi ad installatori abilitati.
Evitare il montaggio del terminale in ambienti che presentino le seguenti
caratteristiche:
• umidità relativa maggiore di quanto indicato nelle specifiche tecniche;
• forti vibrazioni o urti;
•esposizione ad atmosfere aggressive ed inquinanti (es.: gas solforici
e ammoniacali, nebbie saline, fumi) con conseguente corrosione e/o
ossidazione;
•elevate interferenze magnetiche e/o radiofrequenze (evitare quindi
l’installazione delle macchine vicino ad antenne trasmittenti);
• esposizione all’irraggiamento solare diretto e agli agenti atmosferici in genere;
• ampie e rapide fluttuazioni della temperatura ambiente;
• ambienti ove sono presenti esplosivi o miscele di gas infiammabili.
Avvertenze generali
Devono essere rispettate le seguenti prescrizioni:
•per le reti di comunicazione Ethernet utilizzare esclusivamente cavi
schermati;
•una tensione di alimentazione elettrica diversa da quella prescritta può
danneggiare seriamente il sistema;
•utilizzare capicorda adatti per i morsetti in uso. Allentare ogni vite ed
inserirvi i capicorda, quindi serrare le viti. Ad operazione ultimata tirare
leggermente i cavi per verificarne il corretto serraggio;
• non aprire il prodotto quando è alimentato;
•l’uso a temperature particolarmente basse può causare una visibile
diminuzione della velocità di risposta del display. Questo è da ritenersi
normale e non è indice di malfunzionamento.
Impostazioni di sistema
pGDx 10" dispone d'interfaccia impostazioni che consente la configurazione
delle opzioni di sistema. L'interfaccia utente delle Impostazioni di sistema è
basata su pagine HTML accessibili localmente sulla HMI (interfaccia uomo-
macchina) o a distanza, utilizzando una versione v44 o superiore del web
browser Chrome sulla porta 443 (https://IP/machine_config). Il nome
utente e la password predefiniti sono entrambi "admin". Utilizzare il menu di
navigazione sul lato sinistro dello schermo per scorrere le opzioni disponibili.
La voce di menu attiva viene evidenziata sul lato sinistro. Sul lato destro
vengono visualizzate le informazioni e le impostazioni relative. A seconda
delle dimensioni dello schermo della HMI, sia il menu sia i contenuti della
voce selezionata possono essere o meno visualizzati sullo schermo.
Impostazioni di sistema:
La procedura di accesso al menu delle impostazioni di sistema consiste
nel toccare ripetutamente la superficie del touch screen durante la fase di
accensione del dispositivo. È necessario iniziare a toccare il touch screen subito
dopo l'accensione del dispositivo. Riconosciuta la sequenza, il sistema visualizza
il messaggio: "TAP-TAP DETECTED (TOCCO RIPETUTO RILEVATO)". A questo
punto, non toccare lo schermo per consentire l'avvio in Modalità Utente senza
lanciare il browser o tenere premuto per alcuni secondi (selezionando quindi
"RESTART: CONFIG OS - RIAVVIO: CONFIG SO") per l'avvio in Modalità Sistema.
Le Impostazioni di sistema includono opzioni di config. base del dispositivo
Lingua Permette di configurare la lingua utilizzata solo per il
menu delle Impostazioni di sistema
Sistema Mostra le informazioni relative a piattaforma, stato
e timer (per esempio: da quanto tempo il sistema è
attivo, da quanto tempo la backlight è attiva).
Log Consente di generare log permanenti su BSP e di esportarli
Data e ora Modifica la data e l'ora del dispositivo, compreso il fuso
orario e il server NTP
Rete Configura l'indirizzo IP dell'interfaccia Ethernet e le
altre impostazioni di rete come DNS, Gateway, DHCP,
Hostname
Gestione
dei servizi
Abilita/disabilita i servizi. Sono esempi di servizi il server
OpenSSH, i servizi Cloud, SNMP e la creazione di log
l'aggiornamento dei componenti BSP (Main OS, Config
OS, Boot loader, XLoader), il controllo di coerenza
delle partizioni, l'aggiornamento della schermata di
caricamento, le informazioni sull'uso e le dimensioni
delle partizioni.

Introduction
The pGDx 10 inch graphic terminal belongs to the family of touch screen
terminals designed to surfing the web server in Carel's device easily and
intuitively. The electronic technology used and the new 64K colors display
allows high quality images and advanced functionality to obtain a high
aesthetic standard. The touch screen panel also facilitates human-machine
interaction making it easier to navigate between the various screens.
At the startup, it is possible to select the operating mode, BROWSER or
RUNTIME

Warnings for installation
For state-of-the-art installation, contact qualified installers. Avoid installing
the terminal in environments with the following characteristics:
•relative humidity greater than that indicated in the technical
specifications;
• strong vibrations or impacts;
•exposure to aggressive and polluting atmospheres (i.e.: sulphuric and
ammonia gases, salt vapours, smoke) with subsequent corrosion and/
or oxidation;
•high magnetic and/or radio interference (therefore, avoid installing
machines near transmitting antennas);
• exposure to direct sunlight and weather in general;
• wide and rapid temperature fluctuations;
• areas where there are explosives or mixtures of flammable gases.
General warnings
The following requirements must be met:
• for Ethernet communication networks, only use shielded cables;
•a power supply voltage that differs from the one required could seriously
damage the system;
•use wire terminals suitable for the terminal boards in use. Loosen each
screw and insert the wire terminal then tighten the screws. When the
operation is complete, pull the cables slightly to make sure they are
properly tightened;
• do not open the product when it is under power;
•particularly low temperatures could cause a visible decrease in the
response speed on the display. This is considered normal and is not a
sign of malfunction.
System settings
pGDx 10" product has a system settings interface to allow configuration
of system options. The user interface of System Settings is based on HTML
pages accessible locally on HMI or in remote using a Web browser Chrome
v44 or higher on port 443 (https://IP/machine_confi g). Default username
is “admin”, default password is “admin”. Use navigation menu on the left side
of the screen to browse through the available options.
The active item of menu is highlighted on the left side. The right side shows
related information and settings. Based on the size of the HMI screen, both
menu and content of selected item may be shown on screen or not.
System Settings:
The procedure to enter in the system settings menu consists in tapping
the surface of the touchscreen during the device power-up phase. Tapping
frequency must be high. You have to start tapping the touchscreen as
soon as power has been applied to the device. When the sequence has
been recognized, the system shows the message: “TAP-TAP DETECTED”. At
this point release touch to boot in User Mode without running browser or
press and hold few seconds (selecting so “RESTART: CONFIG OS”) to boot in
System Mode.
System Settings includes options for basic settings of the device
Language Configure language used for System Setting menu only
System show informations about platform, status and timers
(like System on time, backlight on time).
Logs enable persistent log for BSP and allows to export it
Date & Time change the device date and time, including time zone
and NTP Server
Network configure IP Address of Ethernet interface and the other
network settings like DNS, Gateway, DHCP, Hostname
Services
Management
enable/disable services. Example of services are
OpenSSH server, Cloud services, SNMP and logging
update of BSP components (Main OS, Config OS, Boot
loader, XLoader), check for partitions consistence,
update of splash screen, informations about usage and
size of partitions.
Display adjust brightness, configure automatic backlight turnoff
and select HMI orientation (90°, 180°, 270° and 360°).
