8. Signal Indicator
When any input signals are detected, this LED lights.
9. Peak Indicator
The Peak indicator lights up when the input signal is too high and the limiter
works to prevent unwanted damage to the amplier and the transducers.
HSMA / HDMA / HMMA PLAY Series Mixer Amplifiers with Multi-Player
10
NOTE: to better adjust levels and prevent the limiter from operating
and consequently cutting the signals, once the desired sound source
is connected, slowly increase the levels 2, 3, 4, 5, 14, 15, 16 and
Master Level (6) until the desired volume is reached taking care, the
Peak indicator lights up occasionally. Always protect your hearing if
you are near when the loudspeaker plays at high volume.
10. Protect Indicator
These mixer ampliers feature an advanced protection circuit. This indicator lights
up in case of over-current and overload to prevent unwanted damage to the
amplier and the transducers.
NOTE: Although these products adopt protection systems against
overheating, short circuits and any excessive current absorbing
based on digital processor, this condition might occur in case of high
environmental temperature or extremely high levels for very long
time. We suggest to increase the heating dissipation (by allowing the
fan system to correctly operate) and reduce overall sound level.
11. Power Indicator
This Led lights up when the unit is turned on.
12. PowerOn/OSwitch
Use this switch to turn the speaker on and o.
WARNING: Ensure the Master Volume controls is set to minimum
when switching on and off.
13. Mic 1 Unbalanced 1/4” Jack
It accepts unbalanced microphone signals (like dynamic microphones). Please
note that it does not provide Phantom Power for condenser microphones. This
input has priority on all input signals.
Priority function consists in reducing all input levels (Mic 2, Mic 3, Mic 4, Aux 1,
Aux 2, Multi Player) when a signal comes to Mic 1 input. Original levels are re-
stored after about half second that there is no signal at Mic 1 input. This function
is particularly useful for announcement purposes.
If you have to use a microphone but don’t need priority function, please use Mic2,

Terminal
It can be very useful, for instance, if, in addition to the 100V zone speaker lines,
you also need a local monitor and need to hear all signals no matter what zones
are active. It is also used in case of low-impedance speaker system instead of 100V
line. Of course, this output is not controlled by zone attenuators.
WARNING: the overall power of the amplifier must always be kept
in mind; this means that if, for example, total power of the speak-
ers connected to all zone outputs is 100W and the power amplifier is

120W, you can add an additional load that does not exceed 20W @4
and 16 Ohm impedance. Also pay attention to polarity when connect-
ing speakers to this output: there is a positive terminal (+, red) and a
negative terminal (-, black).
2. External Antenna
Connect here the DAB+/FM antenna (included). You can also use this plug to con-
nect external antennas and increase the DAB+/FM reception sensitivity.
3. Mic 4 Combo Connector
This Combo is for the use of both XLR and 1/4” Jack balanced/unbalanced Micro-
phone or Line signals. You can connect mixers, DJ consoles, CD players, etc. The
input audio signal can be adjusted by using the Mic 4 knob on front panel.
Note: Set Mic 4 knob to minimum before connecting an audio signal.
Once the system is powered up, we recommend that the Volume set
to midway is a good starting point.
4. Mic4PhantomIndicator
This Led is lit when Line/Mic/Phantom selector n. 5 is on “Phantom” position. This
means that Mic 4 Combo connector delivers +48V Phantom Power.
5. Mic4Line/Mic/PhantomSel.
Set this selector to “Line” in case of line-level signals (such as CD players, Tuners,
Tablets, PC, Mobile Phones, etc.); set it to “Mic” in case of dynamic or condenser
microphones; set it to “Phantom” only in case of condenser microphones that
requires a Phantom Power.
WARNING: Please read the technical specifications of your condens-
er microphone before connecting. This mixer amplifier delivers +48V
Phantom Power.
WARNING: Set Mic 4 knob to minimum before connecting the micro-
phone and switching the Phantom Power to on.

14. DC +24V Power Input
These ampliers can also be powered by DC 24V. This function is very useful in
those installations where an auxiliary power line is provided at 24V which, in the
case of blackout or other, powers the audio system mainly for emergency mes-
sages.
WARNING: When these amplifiers are powered by DC 24V, the cur-
rent consumption is about 10A. Please take into consideration this
data when choose power cables thickness and pay attention to the
polarity of the terminals of this connector.
15. 100V Speaker Power Output
These are the power outputs with constant voltage at 100V. Depending on the
models, there may be 1, 2 or 4 exits. Pay attention to the polarity of the terminals
of these connectors.

signals (Mic1, Mic2, Mic3, Mic4, Aux1, Aux2, DAB+/FM/BT/USB). When an audio
signal is present at this Phoenix terminal, the audio content has priority on any
other signal, and is used only in case of emergency.
