1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the enclosed safety warnings, the additional

safety warnings and the instructions. Failure to

follow the safety warnings and the instructions may

result in electric shock, ﬁre and/or serious injury.

GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS

WARNING Read all safety warnings and all instruc-

tions provided with the working stand and the

power tool to be mounted. Failure to follow the

warnings and instructions may result in electric

shock, ﬁre and/or serious injury. Save all warnings

and instructions for future reference.

• Disconnect the plug from the power source

and/or the battery pack from the power tool

before making any adjustments or changing

accessories. Accidental starting of the power

tool is a cause of some accidents.

• Properly assemble the working stand before

mounting the tool. Proper assembly is impor-

tant to prevent risk of collapse.

• Securely fasten the power tool to the working

stand before use. Power tool shifting on the

working stand can cause loss of control.

• Place the working stand on a solid, ﬂat and

level surface. When the working stand can shift

or rock, the power tool or workpiece cannot be

steadily and safely controlled.

• Do not overload the working stand or use as

ladder or scaffolding. Overloading or standing

on the working stand causes the stand to be

“top-heavy” and likely to tip over.

SPECIFIC SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Neither the manufacturer nor the retailer can

accept any responsibility for injury, loss or damage

caused by misuse of this product of any kind.

Examples of misuse are given in the following

non-exhaustive list:

• Use of the router table for any purpose other

than that for which it is intended,

• Non-observance of the safety warnings and

instructions as well as the assembly, operating,

cleaning and maintenance instructions contain-

ed in this user manual,

• Non-observance of any applicable health, safety

and accident prevention regulations concerning

the use of this router table,

• Use of accessories or spare parts that are not

suitable for the router table,

• Modiﬁcation of the router table,

• Repair of the router table by any person other

than the manufacturer or a workshop,

• Commercial or otherwise excessive use of the

router table,

• Operation and maintenance of the router table

performed by persons who are not competent

to use the router table and have not been war-

ned of possible risks.

Even with the application of the relevant safety

regulations and the implementation of safety

devices, certain residual risks cannot be avoided.

In connection with the construction and use of the

router table, the following hazards may occur:

• Danger of injury through contact with the rota-

ting router bit caused by improper guidance of

the workpiece,

• Danger of injury through ﬂying workpieces

and/or uncontrolled lift-up of the workpiece

caused by improper guidance or holding of the

workpiece, such as working without the use of

a fence or feather boards,

• Health risks associated with wood dust and

wood chips. Always use personal protective

equipment such as safety goggles and a dust

mask. Use a dust extraction device,

• Danger of injury caused by long hair or loose-ﬁt-

ting clothing. Always wear tight-ﬁtting work

clothing and keep long hair in a hair net,

• Danger of injury to the hands and ﬁngers when

the router bit is changed. Wear protective gloves,

• Danger of laceration caused by the rotating

router bit when the machine is switched on,

• Danger of electric shock if the machine is con-

nected to a faulty mains system.

Despite all safety precautions taken, some hidden

risks may remain. Residual risks can be minimised

by following the safety instructions, the scope of

use and the user manual.

A. Workpiece dimensions:

- Workpieces less than 200 mm in length may

only be fed towards the router bit with the

aid of a workpiece feed device such as a

push stick.

- Workpieces greater than 1000 mm in length

must be prevented from tipping with a roller

stand.

- The maximum workpiece width of 100 mm

may not be exceeded.

B. The router table may only be used to cut square

or rectangular shaped workpieces. Do not cut

circular workpieces (such as broom handles or

branches) with the router table.

C. The router table is suitable for producing shaped

edges (proﬁles), chamfers, joints, rebates and

wood joints. The router table may not be used

for working of end grain wood or the cutting of

mortice tenons. Plunge milling, curve milling and

synchronous feed milling are not allowed. Stop-

ped work is not allowed.

D. Ensure that all protective devices are ﬁtted and in

good working order before you use the machine.

E. The router table is designed for single-person

operation. The operator is responsible for the

safety of others in the vicinity.

F. Read and follow all safety instructions printed

on the machine. A copy of the safety instructions

printed on the machine is contained in this user

manual.

G. If the dimensions of your workpiece exceed the

dimensions of the work table, the side tables

must be used.

H. The router table must always be connected to a

dust extraction device.

I. Use the machine when it is in good working order

for the purpose for which it was designed and ac-

cording to the instructions contained in this user

manual and the manual supplied with the electric

router you use with the router table. Consider the

potential dangers associated with the use of the

machine. Any defects which may affect the safety

of the machine must be repaired immediately.

J. The manufacturer’s safety, working and main-

tenance instructions and the dimensions in the

technical speciﬁcations must be followed careful-

ly.

K. The applicable health and safety regulations and

generally accepted technical safety rules must be

followed.

L. The router table may only be operated, main-

tained and repaired by competent persons who

are familiar with this type of machine and the

potential dangers. The manufacturer accepts no

responsibility for damage caused by modiﬁcations

to the machine.

M. The machine may only be used with the original

accessories and tools supplied by the manu-

facturer. Be aware that the use of accessories

or tools other than those speciﬁed in the user

manual can lead to injury.

N. Use a push stick to hold / guide the workpiece.

This is much safer than using your hands and

means that you have both hands free to operate

the machine.

O. Always maintain a stable posture, keep your

balance and do not lean too far forward. Avoid

unusual body positions.

P. Always maintain concentration when working with

the machine. Do not work with the machine when

you are tired or under the inﬂuence of alcohol,

medication or drugs.

Q. Check the machine for damaged parts. If a pro-

tective device or another part appears damaged,

carefully check to see if the part still functions be-

fore resuming work. Check that all moving parts

can move back and forth freely and clear their

way if necessary. Ensure that no breakage, cracks

or other types of damage affect their function.

A damaged protective device or other part must

be repaired or replaced by a qualiﬁed person or

the manufacturer’s customer service department

unless stated otherwise in the operating instructi-

ons.

R. Defective switches must be replaced by a qua-

liﬁed person or the manufacturer’s customer

service department. Never work with the machine

if the ON/OFF switch does not operate correctly.

S. Ensure that the local mains supply agrees with

the information printed on the machine’s rating

plate.

T. Always use a push stick to hold down the work-

piece and to prevent ‘kickback.’

U. Handle the router bits with care as they are extre-

mely sharp.

V. Check the router bit for signs of damage or cracks

before use. Replace cracked or damaged router

bits immediately.

W. Remove all foreign bodies such as nails or screws

from the workpiece before you start work.

X. Keep your hands away from the rotating workpie-

ce.

Y. Switch the machine on and allow it to reach its

full no load speed before engaging the workpiece

with the router bit.

Z. Allow the machine to run at no load speed for a

few minutes before you make the ﬁrst cut. Check

for any unusual sounds or vibrations, which may

indicate that the router bit or the electric router is

not correctly ﬁtted.

AA. Be aware of the direction of rotation of the router

bit and feed the workpiece into the router bit in

the correct direction.

BB. Feed the workpiece into the router bit against the

direction of rotation.

CC. Never leave the machine unattended when it is

running.

DD. Do not touch the router bit immediately after

ﬁnishing a cut. It can be extremely hot and cause

burns. Allow the router bit to cool down ﬁrst.

EE. Cables, rags and other foreign objects must be

removed from the table top during operation.

FF. Switch the machine off and wait until the router

bit has come to a complete stop before removing

the workpiece.

- Be aware that the router bit assembly ﬁtted to

the router table must be checked for signs of

damage (chips, cracks and wear) each time

you use the router table. Damaged or heavily

worn router bits may not be used and must be

replaced. Check for damage if the router table or

the router bit has been dropped and/or use an

undamaged router bit.

- Always use a table inlay with dimensions that

correspond to the size of the router bit you wish

to use.

- Always wear appropriate personal protective

equipment. Wear ear protectors to reduce the

risk of hearing damage. Wear a dust mask to

reduce the risk of inhaling dangerous dust. Wear

protective gloves to reduce the risk of injury

posed by handling sharp router bits and/or rough

workpieces with sharp edges. Wear a face visor

or safety goggles to reduce the risk of eye injury

due to ﬂying parts.

- Always connect the router table to a dust

extraction system according to the instructions

contained in this user manual. Be aware that

toxic dust can be produced when routing wood.

- Never use router bits or other tools, which are

not designed for use with the router table and/or

recommended for use with the router table by the

manufacturer. A loss of control can lead to injury.

Use only router bits which are marked for manual

feed (MAN) according to EN 847-1.

- Read, understand and follow all safety instruc-

tions printed on the router table.

- Hand/ﬁnger contact with the rotating router bit

can cause serious injury. Ensure that the spindle

guard is installed and in good working order as

described in this user manual as this reduces

the risk of contact with the rotating router bit.

Ensure that the router bit has come to a complete

stop and disconnect the machine from the mains

before carrying out any kind of maintenance or

adjustments.

- Always use the feather boards provided, espe-

cially when working with thinner workpieces. This

reduces the risk of ‘kickback,’ a sudden reaction

caused by the loss of control over a smaller work-

piece.

- When working with longer workpieces always

use the side tables provided and an additional

roller stand if necessary to prevent the risk of the

workpieces tipping over in an uncontrolled way

as this could lead to a dangerous situation.

- Incorrect use of router bits, workpieces and

workpiece feed devices can lead to dangerous

situations. Read the appropriate instructions

contained within this user manual and ensure

that these instructions are provided to any person

who uses the machine.

- Improper maintenance of the router can lead

to uncontrollable situations. Use only sharp,

well-maintained router bits and adjust these

according to the instructions provided by the

manufacturer. Router bits may only be used

for the purpose for which they were intended.

Always use the appropriate router bit for your

application and ensure that it is in good condition

as this reduces the risk of accidents.

- Accidental contact with the router table’s moving

parts can lead to dangerous situations and/or ac-

cidents. Switch the machine off and disconnect

it from the mains when it is not in use, before

you perform any maintenance and before you

change or adjust the router bit. This precaution-

ary measure prevents the tool from being started

accidentally.

- Incorrect use of fences and other workpiece feed

devices can lead to dangerous situations. Consult

the instructions in the appropriate part of this

user manual.

- Incorrect positioning, ﬁtting or fastening of the

router bit can lead to dangerous situations. Be

sure that the router bit rotates in the correct

direction and that the workpiece is fed into the

spindle against the direction of rotation of the bit.

- Be sure to select the correct router bit speed for

your application. Consult the manual supplied

with your electric router for this purpose.

- Keep your hands away from the workpiece by

using a fence, push stick or other feed device to

feed the workpiece towards the router bit. Use

the feather boards supplied to hold the workpie-

ce instead. This reduces the risk of injury.

- Ensure that the router table is located on a sta-

ble, level surface.

- Keep your workplace tidy and remove chips and

dust regularly. Clean your power tool’s ventilation

slots regularly.

Electrical safety

Always check that the voltage of the power

supply corresponds to the voltage on the

rating plate.

• Do not use the machine if the mains cable or

the mains plug is damaged.

• Only use extension cables that are suitable

for the power rating of the machine with a

minimum thickness of 1.5 mm2. If you use a ex-

tension cable reel, always fully unroll the cable.

use and for hobby and DIY projects for routing in

wood in conjunction with an electric router. Any

other applications are expressly prohibited and are

deemed improper use.

3. ASSEMBLY

The router table must be fully assembled

before use.

Attaching the legs and table extensions (Fig. C, D)

Use 16, 18mm Phillips head assembly fasteners as

shown on ﬁgure B1.

1. With the table and one table extension upside

down on a ﬂat surface, align the table extensi-

ons as shown on ﬁgure C. Once aligned, slide

the table and table extension together.

2. Place table leg as shown on ﬁgure D. Loosely

ﬁx in position using four screws and ﬂange lock

nuts, do not fully tighten yet.

NOTE: The table leg ﬁts inside the table proﬁle,

with ﬁxing screws inserted from the outside.

3. Repeat step 3 above for opposite table leg.

4. Once both table legs are loosely ﬁtted, ensure

the table and table extension are lying perfectly

ﬂat, gently tighten all screws, working from the

centre to the outside.

5. Repeat steps for the other table extension and

table legs. Once all four legs are securely tight-

ened, turn assembly over and check the router

table does not rock.

Insert router mounting bolts (Fig. E, F)

Use 4, 50mm Coach bolts, router clamps and as-

sembly fasteners as shown on ﬁgure B2.

1. Insert four 50mm coach bolts into the holes as

shown on ﬁgure E from the top of the table.

2. From the underside, loosely ﬁt bracket, washer

and ﬂange nut as shown on ﬁgure F. Do this for

all four bolts.

Attaching Fence (Fig. G, H)

Use 2, 40mm Hex head bolts, washer and locking

knob assembly fasteners as shown on ﬁgure B3.

1. Insert the bolts from the underside of the table

through the holes marked on ﬁgure G.

2. Place the fence on the bolts and secure in posi-

tion with washer and locking knob as shown on

ﬁgure H.

Attaching Fence Feather Boards (Fig. I, J)

Incorrectly orientated feather boards may

cause workpiece kickback and cause

serious injuries.

Use 4, 40mm Coach bolts, washer and wing nut

assembly fasteners as shown on ﬁgure B4.

1. Fit the fence feather boards to the front of the

fence as shown on ﬁgure I.

2. Pay attention to the feed direction as shown on

ﬁgure J.

Attaching Table Feather Board (Fig. K, L)

Incorrectly orientated feather boards may

cause workpiece kickback and cause

serious injuries.

Use 2, 30mm Hex head bolts, washer, locking

knobs and spacer assembly fasteners as shown on

ﬁgure B5.

1. Insert the two hex head bolts from the under-

side of the table, place spacers on the bolts

ensuring the correct orientation, as shown on

ﬁgure K.

2. Place the feather board on top, place washer

on each bolt and secure with locking knobs, as

shown on ﬁgure L.

Attaching Switch Box (Fig. M, N)

The router table is supplied with a magnetic

safety switch unit, which must be used to

control the power supply to your router. Not

using the safety switch may increase the

danger of injuries.

Use 2, 18mm Phillips head assembly fasteners as

shown on ﬁgure B5.

1. With the router table on its legs, align the 2

screw holes in the switch box with the correspon-

ding holes in the table, as shown on ﬁgure M.

2. Using screws from the front of the table secu-

red with ﬂange lock nuts, as shown on ﬁgure N.

Attaching Router (Fig. O)

Warning: ensure the router table or router

power cord are not connected into power

outlet.

It is essential that you feed the workpiece

into the router bit against the direction of

rotation of the bit. Ensure that the direction

of rotation marking on your electric router

points in the same direction as the direction

of rotation marking on the router table.

The router table is recommended for use with

Vonroc routers or most routers from other reputa-

ble manufacturers ﬁtted with up to 155 mm base

plate. If you wish to use an electric router from

another manufacturer consult the documentation

supplied with it before using it with the router

table. Using a router not designed to ﬁt this router

table could result in the router and/or router table

being damaged.

1. Place the router in position on the underside of

the table as central as possible. If necessary,

use a ruler or measuring caliper to check if the

distance is identical in all four corners.

2. Subsequently, loosely secure router in position

with clamps x 4.

NOTE: Ensure the router is facing the front of

the router table.

3. Once the router is in the desired position, tigh-

ten the four clamps sufﬁciently to prevent the

router moving whilst in operation.

Table Inserts (Fig. P)

Warning: Do not use router bits that have a

cutting diameter that exceeds the clearance

hole in the table insert.

Damaged table inserts may slip out of the

inlay notch and cause serious injuries.

Never work with a damaged table inlay.

Five table inserts, each with a different size

opening (½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 ¼” & 1 ½”) are supplied

with the router table. Change the table inserts as

needed to accommodate the size of the router bit.

Table inserts provide a stable surface around the

cutter and prevents objects from falling through

the plate and damaging the spindle.

1. Align your selected table insert with the round

notch that surrounds the router opening in the

table, as shown on ﬁgure P.

2. Now press down gently and evenly on the table

insert to secure it in the notch.

Mitre Guide (Fig. Q)

Place the mitre guide bar into the channel that

runs the full length of the table, as show on ﬁgu-

re Q. The bar should run freely in this channel.

2. To change the angle of the mitre guide, loosen

the mitre guide lock knob and move the guide

to the desired angle.

3. Tighten the mitre guide lock knob to set the

guide at the selected angle.

4. OPERATION

Fence Adjustment (Fig. R)

To slide the fence backwards and forwards loosen

the two fence locking knobs, use the graduation

marks to set the fence parallel.

To adjust the cutting width when routing with

proﬁle router bits:

1. Install the proﬁle bit you wish to use and set

the cutting depth according to the instructions

supplied with your electric router.

2. Make sure the outermost edge of the ball bearing

is in line with the edge of the fence assembly.

3. Loosen the two ﬁxing knobs at the rear of the

fence assembly and place a ruler on the outer

edge of the ball bearing.

4. Slide the fence assembly forward so that it touch-

es the edge of the ruler and re-tighten the ﬁxing

knobs to secure the fence assembly in place.

Trimming Fence Adjustment (Fig. S)

The fence assembly is ﬁtted with a sliding trimming

fence, which must be used when you trim pieces

of wood with a straight router bit (a.k.a. jointing),

which otherwise would not be in contact with the

fence assembly after having moved through the ro-

tating router bit. For adjustment proceed as follows:

1. Install the trimming bit you wish to use to your

electric router.

2. Loosen the fence assembly ﬁxing screws and

slide the fence assembly back or forth accor-

ding to the required cutting width.

3. Re-tighten the fence assembly ﬁxing screws to

secure the fence assembly in place.

4. Now loosen the trimming fence ﬁxing knob.

5. Rotate the router bit manually so that the

cutting blade is at a 90° angle to the fence as

shown on ﬁgure S.

6. Place a ruler on the work table and line up the

trimming fence with the outermost edge of the

router bit blade.

7. Securely tighten the trimming fence ﬁxing knob.

Adjusting the Feather Boards (Fig. T)

Set the fence feather boards to hold the piece of

wood ﬂat on the table and against the fence whilst

machining.

Adjust the table feather board in the same manner

to hold the wood ﬁrmly against the fence.

Bench Mounting

The work bench should be very stable to

eliminate vibration when the router is

operating.

Each table leg has an opening at the bottom for

securing the assembled table to a suitable work

bench. The work bench should be level and strong

enough to support the weight of the table and the

router. Use appropriate fasteners and bolts to secu-

re the router table to the work bench.

Plug in the Router (Fig. A)

Ensure the router table power cord is not

connected into the power outlet.

For safety reasons, your electric router may

only be connected to the mains through the

router table’s safety switch unit.

1. Press the red OFF button to ensure the router

table is switched OFF (0).

2. Ensure the router switch is in the OFF (0) position.

3. Plug the router power cord into the outlet on the

switch box. Secure the router power cord so that

it does not interfere with the operation of the

router.

4. Plug the router table power cord into a power

outlet.

Depth of Cut

The depth of cut affects the rate and quality of

cut. The plunge lock lever on the router holds the

router at the desired height and depth of cut. Refer

to instruction manual that came supplied with your

router for details on how to adjust the depth of cut.

Turning On the Router

Once the router is properly mounted to the router

table, you will be able to operate the router using

the router table switch box.

1. Switch the router to the ON (I) position.

NOTE: The router table is primarily intended for

use with a router ﬁtted with a ‘lock-on’ switch.

If your router does not have this feature it will

be necessary to ﬁx its switch in place using

a clamping device. Ensure to remove this

clamping device as soon as you use the router

without the router table.

2. To start the router press the GREEN ON (I) but-

ton on the router table.

3. To stop router press RED OFF button on the

router table.

Using the router table

Check that the guard is in good working

condition every time you use the machine

and regularly clean the dust and chip guard.

NOTE: If you are using a large diameter routing bit

that removes a large amount of material from the

workpiece it may be necessary to make several

passes, increasing the amount of material removed

each time, in order to prevent overloading your

electric router. If this is the case, adjust the fence

assembly so that a reduced router bit radius is

exposed to the workpiece and make the required

amount of cuts before setting the cutting width as

described below for the ﬁnal pass.

1. Fit a router bit to the electric router.

2. Adjust the cutting depth, cutting width, feather

boards and fence assembly as described on the

previous pages.

3. Switch the router on using the safety switch

unit and allow it to reach its full speed.

4. Use a push stick to feed the workpiece slowly

and evenly through the rotating router bit.

5. Switch the router table off and allow the bit to

come to a complete stop before you remove the

workpiece from the table top.

Feed direction (Fig. U)

Do not guide the router in the direction of

rotation of the router bit to avoid the danger

of losing control of the router.

Feed the workpiece from right to left. The material

must be fed against the cutting edge of the router

bit, ensure that the workpiece is tight against the

fence.

Fitting and removing router bits

The router can unintentionally start and

cause injury. Disconnect the router table

and your electric router from the mains

before proceeding.

1. Place the router table on its side.

2. From the underside of the worktable ﬁt or

remove a router bit to your router as described

in the router’s operating instructions.

3. Place the router table back in the upright positi-

on.

Inserting the dust extraction adapter (Fig. A, V)

Risk of poisoning! Dust which is harmful to

health can be produced when routing wood

and cause poisoning. Always wear a dust

mask and connect the router table to a dust

extraction device.

The router table is supplied with a dust extracti-

on outlet and a dust extraction adapter. The dust

extraction adapter is factory ﬁtted. If reassembly is

required proceed as follows:

1. Remove any dust extraction adapter ﬁtted to

your router before ﬁtting it to the router table.

2. Insert the dust extraction adapter into the dust

extraction outlet at the rear of the fence assem-

bly as shown on ﬁgure V.

3. Connect the router table to a dust extraction

device by ﬁtting a hose to the dust extraction

adapter.

5. MAINTENANCE

Always make sure that the machine is not

connected to the mains electricity when you

carry out any maintenance of the mechanism.

Clean the machine casings regularly with a soft

cloth, preferably after each use. Make sure that the

ventilation openings are free of dust and dirt. Re-

move very persistent dirt using a soft cloth moiste-

ned with soapsuds. Do not use any solvents such

as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia, etc. Chemicals such

as these will damage the synthetic components.

ENVIRONMENT

Faulty and/or discarded electrical or

electronic apparatus have to be collected at

the appropriate recycling locations.

Only for EC countries

Do not dispose of power tools into domestic waste.

According to the European Guideline 2012/19/

defects in both materials and workmanship for the

failure during this period due to defective material

The following circumstances are excluded from this

guarantee:

• Repairs and or alterations have been made

or attempted to the machine by unauthorized

service centers;

• Normal wear and tear;

• The tool has been abused, misused or im-

properly maintained;

• Non-original spare parts have been used.

This constitutes the sole warranty made by compa-

ny either expressed or implied. There are no other

warranties expressed or implied which extend

beyond the face hereof, herein, including the im-

plied warranties of merchantability and ﬁtness for

a particular purpose. In no event shall VONROC be

liable for any incidental or consequential damages.

The dealers remedies shall be limited to repair or

ALLGEMEINE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

WARNUNG! Lesen Sie alle Sicherheitswarnungen

und alle Anweisungen, die mit dem Arbeitsständer

und dem zu montierenden Elektrowerkzeug ge-

liefert werden. Die Nichtbeachtung der Warnungen

und Anweisungen kann in einem Stromschlag,

Brand und/oder in schweren Verletzungen resultie-

ren. Bewahren Sie die Warnungen und Anweisun-

gen für künftige Referenzzwecke auf.

• Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose bzw.

trennen Sie den Akku-Pack vom Elektrower-

kzeug, bevor Sie irgendwelche Einstellungen

vornehmen oder Zubehörteile austauschen.

Das versehentliche Starten des Elektrower-

kzeugs kann zu Unfällen führen.

• Montieren Sie den Arbeitsständer ordnungs-

gemäß, bevor Sie das Werkzeug daran anbrin-

gen. Die korrekte Montage ist wichtig, um das

Risiko eines Zusammenbruchs zu vermeiden.

• Befestigen Sie das Elektrowerkzeug vor dem

Gebrauch sicher am Arbeitsständer. Das

Verschieben von Elektrowerkzeugen auf dem

Arbeitsständer kann zu einem Kontrollverlust

führen.

• Stellen Sie den Arbeitsständer auf eine feste,

ﬂache und ebene Fläche. Wenn sich der

Arbeitsständer verschieben lässt oder wackelt,

kann das Elektrowerkzeug oder Werkstück nicht

stabil und sicher kontrolliert werden.

• Überlasten Sie den Arbeitsständer nicht

und verwenden Sie ihn nicht als Leiter oder

Gerüst. Überlastung oder das Stehen auf dem

Arbeitsständer führt dazu, dass der Ständer

„kopﬂastig“ wird und umkippen kann.

BESONDERE SICHERHEITSANFORDERUNGEN

Weder der Hersteller noch der Einzelhändler kön-

nen irgendeine Verantwortung für Verletzungen,

Verluste oder Schäden übernehmen, die durch

eine missbräuchliche Verwendung dieses Produkts

entstehen. Beispiele für Missbrauch sind in der

folgenden, nicht umfassenden Liste aufgeführt:

• Verwendung des Frästisches für einen anderen

Zweck als den, für den der vorgesehen ist,

• Nichtbeachtung der Sicherheitswarnungen und

Anweisungen sowie der in diesem Benutzerhan-

dbuch enthaltenen Anweisungen zu Montage,

Betrieb, Reinigung und Wartung,

• Nichtbeachtung der geltenden Gesundheits-,

Sicherheits- und Unfallverhütungsvorschriften

bei der Verwendung dieses Frästisches,

• Verwendung von Zubehör- oder Ersatzteilen, die

nicht für den Frästisch vorgesehen sind,

• Modiﬁkation des Frästisches,

• Reparatur des Frästisches durch eine andere

Person als den Hersteller oder eine Werkstatt,

• Kommerzielle oder anderweitig übermäßige

Nutzung des Frästisches,

• Betrieb und Wartung des Frästisches durch Per-

sonen, die nicht befähigt sind, den Frästisch zu

bedienen, und die nicht vor möglichen Risiken

gewarnt wurden.

Selbst bei Anwendung der einschlägigen Sicherhe-

itsvorschriften und der Umsetzung von Sicherhe-

itsvorrichtungen lassen sich gewisse Restrisiken

nicht vermeiden. Im Zusammenhang mit dem Au-

fbau und der Verwendung des Frästisches können

folgende Gefahren auftreten:

• Verletzungsgefahr durch Kontakt mit dem

rotierenden Fräswerkzeug, verursacht durch

unsachgemäße Führung des Werkstücks,

• Verletzungsgefahr durch umherﬂiegende

Werkstücke und/oder unkontrolliertes Abheben

des Werkstücks, verursacht durch unsach-

gemäße Führung oder Halten des Werkstücks,

wie z.B. Arbeiten ohne Anschlag oder Fe-

derbretter,

• Gesundheitsrisiken im Zusammenhang mit

Holzstaub und Holzspänen. Stets persönliche

Schutzausrüstung wie Schutzbrille und Staub-

maske tragen. Stets eine Staubabsaugvorrich-

tung verwenden,

• Verletzungsgefahr durch lange Haare oder

locker sitzende Kleidung. Stets eng anliegende

Arbeitskleidung tragen und bei langem Haar ein

Haarnetz aufsetzen,

• Verletzungsgefahr für Hände und Finger beim

Wechseln des Fräswerkzeugs. Schutzhand-

schuhe tragen,

• Gefahr der Rissbildung durch das rotierende

Fräswerkzeug beim Einschalten der Maschine,

• Gefahr eines Stromschlags, wenn das Gerät an

ein fehlerhaftes Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.

Trotz aller getroffenen Sicherheitsvorkehrungen

können versteckte Risiken bestehen bleiben.

Restrisiken können durch Beachten der Sicherhe-

itshinweise, des Anwendungsbereichs und des

Benutzerhandbuchs minimiert werden.

A. Abmessungen des Werkstücks:

− Werkstücke mit einer Länge von weniger als

200 mm dürfen dem Fräswerkzeug nur mit

Hilfe einer Werkstückvorschubvorrichtung

zugeführt werden, z.B. mit einem Schie-

bestock.

− Werkstücke mit einer Länge von mehr als

1000 mm müssen mit einem Rollenbock vor

dem Umkippen geschützt werden.

− Die maximale Werkstückbreite von 100 mm

darf nicht überschritten werden.

B. Der Frästisch darf nur zum Schneiden von

Werkstücken mit quadratischer oder rechtecki-

ger Form verwendet werden. Schneiden Sie bei

Verwendung des Frästisches keine kreisförmi-

gen Werkstücke (wie Besenstiele oder Äste).

C. Der Frästisch eignet sich zur Herstellung von

Formkanten (Proﬁlen), Fasen, Verbindungen,

Nuten und Holzverbindungen. Der Frästisch

darf nicht für die Bearbeitung von Hirnholz oder

das Schneiden von Zapfen für Zapfenlöcher

verwendet werden. Tauchfräsen, Kurvenfräsen

und Synchronvorschubfräsen sind nicht erlaubt.

Arbeitsunterbrechungen sind nicht erlaubt.

D. Stellen Sie vor Verwendung der Maschine si-

cher, dass alle Schutzvorrichtungen angebracht

und in gutem Betriebszustand sind.

E. Der Frästisch ist für den Ein-Personen-Betrieb

ausgelegt. Der Betreiber ist für die Sicherheit

anderer Personen in der Umgebung verantwort-

lich.

F. Lesen und befolgen Sie alle auf das Gerät

aufgedruckten Sicherheitshinweise. Eine Kopie

der auf das Gerät aufgedruckten Sicherheit-

shinweise ist in diesem Benutzerhandbuch

enthalten.

G. Wenn die Abmessungen Ihres Werkstücks die

Abmessungen des Arbeitstisches überschre-

iten, müssen Seitentische verwendet werden.

H. Der Frästisch muss immer an eine Staubabsau-

gvorrichtung angeschlossen sein.

I. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur, wenn es für den

Zweck, für den es konzipiert wurde, in gutem

Betriebszustand ist, und stets gemäß den

Anweisungen in diesem Benutzerhandbuch und

dem Handbuch der elektrischen Oberfräse, die

Sie mit dem Frästisch verwenden. Berücksi-

chtigen Sie die potenziellen Gefahren, die mit

dem Einsatz der Maschine verbunden sind. Alle

Mängel, welche die Sicherheit der Maschine

beeinträchtigen können, müssen sofort beh-

oben werden.

J. Die Sicherheits-, Arbeits- und Wartungsanwe-

isungen des Herstellers und die Abmessungen

in den technischen Speziﬁkationen müssen

sorgfältig beachtet werden.

K. Die geltenden Gesundheits- und Sicherheit-

svorschriften und die allgemein anerkannten si-

cherheitstechnischen Regeln sind zu beachten.

L. Der Frästisch darf nur von kompetenten Per-

sonen bedient, gewartet und repariert werden,

die mit dieser Art von Maschinen und den mö-

glichen Gefahren vertraut sind. Der Hersteller

übernimmt keine Verantwortung für Schäden,

die durch Modiﬁkationen an der Maschine

entstehen.

M. Die Maschine darf nur mit dem vom Hersteller

gelieferten Originalzubehör und -werkzeug

verwendet werden. Seien Sie sich bewusst,

dass die Verwendung von anderen als den im

Benutzerhandbuch angegebenen Zubehörteilen

oder Werkzeugen zu Verletzungen führen kann.

N. Verwenden Sie zum Halten/Führen des

Werkstücks einen Schiebestock. Das ist

deutlich sicherer als der Gebrauch Ihrer Hände

und bedeutet, dass Sie beide Hände frei haben,

um die Maschine zu bedienen.

O. Halten Sie immer eine stabile Haltung ein,

halten Sie das Gleichgewicht und lehnen Sie

sich nicht zu weit nach vorne. Vermeiden Sie

anormale Körperhaltungen.

P. Bleiben Sie bei der Arbeit mit der Maschine

immer konzentriert. Betreiben Sie die Maschine

nicht, wenn Sie müde sind oder unter dem Ein-

ﬂuss von Alkohol, Medikamenten oder Drogen

stehen.

Q. Überprüfen Sie die Maschine auf beschädigte

Teile. Wenn eine Schutzvorrichtung oder ein

anderes Teil beschädigt zu sein scheint, prüfen

Sie sorgfältig, ob das Teil noch funktioniert,

bevor Sie die Arbeit wieder aufnehmen. Prüfen

Sie, ob sich alle beweglichen Teile frei hin- und

herbewegen können und machen Sie gegebe-

nenfalls den Weg frei. Stellen Sie sicher, dass

keine Brüche, Risse oder andere Arten von

Schäden die Funktion der Teile beeinträchti-

gen. Eine beschädigte Schutzvorrichtung oder

ein anderes beschädigtes Teil muss von einer

qualiﬁzierten Person oder dem Kundendienst

des Herstellers repariert oder ersetzt werden,

sofern in der Bedienungsanleitung nicht anders

angegeben.

R. Defekte Schalter müssen von einer qualiﬁzier-

ten Person oder der Kundendienstabteilung

des Herstellers ausgetauscht werden. Arbeiten

Sie niemals mit dem Gerät, wenn der EIN/AUS-

-Schalter nicht korrekt funktioniert.

S. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die örtliche Stromver-

sorgung mit den Angaben auf dem Typenschild

des Geräts übereinstimmt.

T. Verwenden Sie immer einen Schiebestock, um

das Werkstück festzuhalten und einen „Rücks-

chlag“ zu verhindern.

U. Behandeln Sie Fräswerkzeuge mit Vorsicht, da

sie extrem scharf sind.

V. Prüfen Sie Fräswerkzeuge vor der Verwendung

auf Anzeichen von Schäden oder Rissen. Er-

setzen Sie gerissene oder beschädigte Fräswer-

kzeuge sofort.

W. Entfernen Sie alle Fremdkörper wie Nägel oder

Schrauben aus dem Werkstück, bevor Sie mit

der Arbeit beginnen.

X. Halten Sie die Hände von dem sich drehenden

Werkstück fern.

Y. Schalten Sie die Maschine ein und lassen Sie

sie ihre volle Leerlaufgeschwindigkeit erre-

ichen, bevor Sie das Fräswerkzeug in das

Werkstück eindringen lassen.

Betreiben Sie die Maschine einige Minuten

lang im Leerlauf, bevor Sie den ersten Schnitt

durchführen. Achten Sie auf ungewöhnliche

Geräusche oder Vibrationen, die darauf hindeu-

ten könnten, dass das Fräswerkzeug oder die

elektrische Oberfräse nicht richtig eingesetzt ist.

AA. Achten Sie auf die Drehrichtung des Fräswer-

kzeugs und führen Sie das Werkstück dem

Fräswerkzeug in der richtigen Richtung zu.

BB. Führen Sie das Werkstück entgegen der Dreh-

richtung in das Fräswerkzeug ein.

CC. Lassen Sie die Maschine nie unbeaufsichtigt,

wenn sie eingeschaltet ist.

DD. Berühren Sie das Fräswerkzeug nicht unmit-

telbar nach der Beendigung eines Schnitts.

Es kann extrem heiß sein und Verbrennungen

verursachen. Lassen Sie das Fräswerkzeug

zuerst abkühlen.

EE. Kabel, Lappen und andere Fremdkörper müs-

sen während des Betriebs von der Tischplatte

entfernt werden.

FF. Bevor Sie das Werkstück entfernen, schal-

ten Sie die Maschine aus und warten Sie, bis

das Fräswerkzeug vollständig zum Stillstand

gekommen ist.

− Denken Sie daran, dass die auf dem Frästisch

montierte Fräswerkzeugbaugruppe bei jeder

Benutzung des Frästisches auf Anzeichen

von Schäden (Späne, Risse und Verschleiß)

überprüft werden muss. Beschädigte oder stark

abgenutzte Fräswerkzeuge dürfen nicht mehr

verwendet werden und müssen ersetzt werden.

Prüfen Sie alle Teile auf Beschädigungen, wenn

der Frästisch oder das Fräswerkzeug herunter-

gefallen ist bzw. verwenden Sie ein unbeschä-

digtes Fräswerkzeug.

− Verwenden Sie immer einen Tischeinsatz mit

Abmessungen, die der Größe des zu verwen-

denden Fräswerkzeugs entsprechen.

− Tragen Sie stets angemessene persönliche

Schutzausrüstung. Tragen Sie einen Gehör-

schutz, um das Risiko von Gehörschäden zu

verringern. Tragen Sie eine Staubmaske, um das

Risiko des Einatmens von gefährlichem Staub

zu verringern. Tragen Sie Schutzhandschuhe,

um das Verletzungsrisiko bei der Handha-

bung scharfer Fräswerkzeuge und/oder rauer

Werkstücke mit scharfen Kanten zu verrin-

gern. Tragen Sie ein Gesichtsvisier oder eine

Schutzbrille, um das Risiko von Augenverletzun-

gen durch umherﬂiegende Teile zu verringern.

− Schließen Sie den Frästisch immer gemäß

den in diesem Benutzerhandbuch enthaltenen

Anweisungen an ein Staubabsaugsystem an.

Beachten Sie, dass beim Fräsen von Holz gifti-

ger Staub entstehen kann.

− Verwenden Sie niemals Fräswerkzeuge oder

andere Werkzeuge, die nicht für die Verwen-

dung mit dem Frästisch ausgelegt sind bzw.

vom Hersteller für die Verwendung mit dem

Frästisch empfohlen werden. Ein Kontrollverlust

kann zu Verletzungen führen. Verwenden Sie

nur Fräswerkzeuge, die gemäß EN 847-1 für

manuellen Vorschub (MAN) gekennzeichnet

sind.

− Lesen, verstehen und befolgen Sie alle Si-

cherheitsanweisungen, die auf dem Frästisch

aufgedruckt sind.

− Der Hand- oder Fingerkontakt mit dem

rotierenden Fräswerkzeug kann zu schweren

Verletzungen führen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der

Spindelschutz wie in diesem Benutzerhandbuch

beschrieben installiert und in gutem Betriebszu-

stand ist, um das Risiko des Kontakts mit dem

rotierenden Fräswerkzeug zu reduzieren. Stellen

Sie sicher, dass das Fräswerkzeug vollständig

zum Stillstand gekommen ist, und trennen Sie

die Maschine vom Stromnetz, bevor Sie Wartun-

gs- oder Einstellarbeiten durchführen.

− Verwenden Sie immer die mitgelieferten

Federbretter, insbesondere bei der Arbeit mit

dünneren Werkstücken. Dies verringert das Risi-

ko eines „Rückschlags“, also einer plötzlichen

Reaktion, die durch den Verlust der Kontrolle

über ein kleineres Werkstück verursacht wird.

− Verwenden Sie bei der Arbeit mit längeren

Werkstücken immer die vorgesehenen Seiten-

tische und gegebenenfalls einen zusätzlichen

Rollenbock, um die Gefahr des unkontrollierten

Umkippens der Werkstücke zu vermeiden, da

dies zu einer gefährlichen Situation führen

könnte.

− Der unsachgemäße Einsatz von Fräswerkzeu-

gen, Werkstücken und Werkstückvorschubvor-

richtungen kann zu gefährlichen Situationen

führen. Lesen Sie die entsprechenden Anwe-

isungen in diesem Benutzerhandbuch und stel-

len Sie sicher, dass diese Anweisungen jeder

Person, die das Gerät benutzt, zur Verfügung

gestellt werden.

−

Unsachgemäße Wartung der Oberfräse kann zu

unkontrollierbaren Situationen führen. Verwen-

den Sie nur scharfe, gut gewartete Fräswerkzeu-

ge und stellen Sie diese immer nach den An-

weisungen des Herstellers ein. Fräswerkzeuge

dürfen nur für den Zweck verwendet werden, für

den sie vorgesehen sind. Verwenden Sie immer

das für Ihre Anwendung geeignete Fräswer-

kzeug und stellen Sie sicher, dass es in gutem

Zustand ist, da dies Unfallrisiken verringert.

− Ein versehentlicher Kontakt mit den bewe-

glichen Teilen des Frästisches kann zu gefähr-

lichen Situationen und/oder Unfällen führen.

Wenn die Maschine nicht in Gebrauch ist und

bevor Sie Wartungsarbeiten durchführen oder

das Fräswerkzeug austauschen oder einstellen,

schalten Sie die Maschine aus und trennen

sie vom Stromnetz. Diese Vorsichtsmaßnahme

verhindert, dass das Werkzeug versehentlich

gestartet wird.

− Die unsachgemäße Verwendung von Anschlä-

gen und anderen Werkstückvorschubvorrichtun-

gen kann zu gefährlichen Situationen führen.

Beachten Sie die Anweisungen im entsprechen-

den Teil dieses Benutzerhandbuchs.

− Falsche Positionierung, Montage oder Befesti-

gung des Fräswerkzeugs kann zu gefährlichen

Situationen führen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich

das Fräswerkzeug in der richtigen Richtung

dreht und dass das Werkstück entgegen der

Drehrichtung des Werkzeugs in die Spindel

eingeführt wird.

− Wählen Sie immer die richtige Fräswerkzeug-

geschwindigkeit für Ihre Anwendung. Beachten

Sie dazu das mit Ihrer elektrischen Oberfräse

gelieferte Handbuch.

− Halten Sie Ihre Hände vom Werkstück fern,

indem Sie einen Anschlag, einen Schiebestock

oder eine andere Vorschubeinrichtung verwen-

den, um das Werkstück dem Fräswerkzeug

zuzuführen. Verwenden Sie stattdessen die

mitgelieferten Federbretter, um das Werkstück

zu halten. Dies reduziert das Verletzungsrisiko.

− Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Frästisch auf einer

stabilen, ebenen Oberﬂäche steht.

− Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsplatz ordentlich und

entfernen Sie regelmäßig Späne und Staub.

Reinigen Sie die Lüftungsschlitze Ihres Elektro-

werkzeugs regelmäßig.

Sicherheit bei Elektrizität

Achten Sie stets darauf, dass die Spannung

der Stromversorgung mit der Spannung auf

dem Typenschild übereinstimmt.

• Verwenden Sie die Maschine nicht, wenn das

Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker beschädigt ist.

• Verwenden Sie nur Verlängerungskabel, die für

die Leistungsaufnahme der Maschine geeignet

sind und eine Mindestaderstärke von 1,5 mm2

haben. Falls Sie eine Kabeltrommel verwenden,

rollen Sie das Kabel immer vollständig ab.

Gebrauch und für Hobby- und Heimwerkerpro-

jekte zum Fräsen in Holz in Verbindung mit einer

Der Frästisch muss vor der Verwendung

vollständig zusammengebaut werden.

Anbringen der Beine und Tischverlängerungen

(Abb. C, D)

Verwenden Sie 16 der 18mm-Kreuzschlitz-Befesti-

gungselemente, siehe Abbildung B1.

1. Richten Sie den Tisch und eine Tischverlänge-

ru ng mit der Oberseite nach unten auf einer

ebenen Fläche aus, siehe Abbildung C. Sobald

die Tischverlängerungen ausgerichtet sind,

schieben Sie den Tisch und die Tischverlänge-

rung zusammen.

2. Platzieren Sie das Tischbein, siehe Abbildung

D. Fixieren Sie es mit vier Schrauben und Flan-

schmuttern locker in der gewünschten Position,

ziehen Sie es aber noch nicht vollständig fest.
