1 Unscrew the plastic cover and remove from the

cylinder head.

2 Lay the sodaONE on its side. Insert the cylinder into the

sodaONE through the hole in the bottom and turn the

cylinder in a clockwise direction until it ts securely.

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing a soda maker from BRITA. With this product, you can turn fresh tap water into

sparkling water in an instant. Making your own sparkling water is simple, cost-effective and kinder to

the environment. What’s more, you can adjust how zzy you want your water to be. With one BRITA

CO2 cylinder you can make up to 60 litres of sparkling water. The exact quantity may vary, depending

on how much zz you prefer. The sodaONE soda maker is made from high-quality materials and

undergoes regular product safety and quality testing. Soda makers operate with high gas pressure

levels so it is important that the included safety instructions are observed.

Correct use

The soda maker is intended for personal use and by adults only. It is intended for use only to infuse

drinking water with carbon dioxide, without any further additives. It should not be used for carbonating

pre-avoured soft drinks, juices, alcoholic drinks, or any drinks which have had additives such as syrups or

effervescent tablets added. Any use beyond the intended purpose are considered misuse. BRITA shall not

be liable for any damage or injury caused by misuse.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

What liquids can I carbonate?

The soda maker must only be used with drinking water provided by water utilities and which complies

accordingly with the legal requirements for drinking water quality. For an even better taste experience,

use BRITA ltered water for carbonation. „Water is a perishable food and as such, you should always

consume within two days.“ In the event that public authorities require that the mains water be boiled, you

must also boil the water before carbonation! After boiling, the water must be allowed to cool before pouring

it into the bottle. You must only carbonate still tap water! Other drinks, such as juices, soft drinks or tap

water containing syrups may cause damage to the appliance or lead to adverse health effects.

Bottle

Please only use original BRITA sodaONE PET bottles with the sodaONE soda maker. Bottles of other

manufacturers are not compatible and therefore pose a safety risk. This applies in particular to the use of

glass bottles, regardless of the manufacturer.

The BRITA sodaONE bottle is made of high-quality PET plastic with stainless steel elements. It is BPA free

and specially designed for the BRITA soda maker.

• Before using it for the rst time and after every other use, it must be cleaned by hand using only mild

dishwashing liquid.

• When using a brush, make sure it is suitable for cleaning plastic bottles and will not leave scratch the

surface.

• Not dishwasher safe!

• The bottle is only suitable for use in temperatures between +5° and +40° Celsius.

• Do not put the bottle in the freezer.

• Before every use, check the sodaONE bottle for cracks or distortions. Damaged bottles must not be used!

• High pressure is created inside the bottle during carbonation, and for safety reasons, each bottle must be

replaced no later than 24 months after the rst use.

• To avoid odours, store the empty bottle with the lid removed.

Using CO2 safely

WARNING!

CO2 is a colourless, odourless gas. There is a danger of suffocation in situations with high concentrations

and poor ventilation.

• If you suspect increased CO2 concentration in a room, ventilate and leave the area.

• Do not make any alterations to the CO2 cylinder, such as piercing it, etc.

• Damaged CO2 cylinders should not be used and must be exchanged without delay!

• In cases of improper use, the pressure inside a CO2 cylinder can cause serious and even fatal injuries.

• When storing, CO2 cylinders can be placed vertically or horizontally, but be sure that they are prevented

from rolling or falling.

For safety reasons, the cylinder must never hit the oor with the valve upfront in order to avoid its damage

which could cause a potential gas leak.

• When operating, always place CO2 cylinders in an upright position.

• Full CO2 cylinders must never be exposed to direct sunlight or temperatures above +50° Celsius.

• Store CO2 cylinders, whether full or empty, out of the reach of children.

• The BRITA sodaONE soda maker can be operated with standard commercial 425 g CO2 cylinders, but it

is recommended using original BRITA CO2 cylinders.

• Do not use larger or smaller CO2 cylinders under any circumstances.

• CO2 cylinders may be very cold after use. Please wait for 10 minutes after your last use before changing

the cylinder.

• Always use the soda maker with full water bottles! Never ll an empty bottle with CO2.

• Never attempt to ll the CO2 cylinder yourself.

3. Use

Select a suitable location for the BRITA soda maker on a at, stable surface away from heat sources or

open ames, such as stoves or ovens.

Always use the soda maker in an upright position.

Installing the CO2 cylinder

• Screw the water nozzle into the thread provided on the soda maker.

• Remove the drip tray cover and place the soda maker on its side.

• Remove the seal on the cylinder head and unscrew the valve cover.

• Slide the cylinder carefully into the body from the bottom.

• As soon as the cylinder makes contact with the end, turn it in a clockwise direction.

• Do not screw too tightly, as this may cause damage to the system or the cylinder itself.

• Place the soda maker in an upright position and replace the drip tray cover.

To remove an empty cylinder, reverse the procedure used to install the cylinder, ensuring that you unscrew

it in an anti-clockwise direction

It’s sparkling water time!

1. Before using the bottle for the rst time, rinse it by hand using a mild dishwashing liquid and lukewarm

water. The bottle is not dishwasher safe!

2. Do not ll above the ‚Max‘ marking. If the bottle is lled above this level, the water will overow when it is

carbonated.

To enjoy an even better sparkling water experience, ll the bottle with fridge-chilled, ltered water from a

BRITA water lter jug.

TIP

3. Screw the full bottle securely into the soda maker.

4. Press the carbonator button all the way down. After 2-3 seconds you will hear a clear buzzing sound.

5. Release the carbonator button to allow the excess pressure to escape.

6. Carefully unscrew the bottle from the soda maker and enjoy your freshly carbonated water..

Individually-adjusted zziness

With the BRITA sodaONE soda maker, you can individually adjust the zziness of your water:

• A short press of the carbonator button (approx. 1 second) will give you slightly zzy water.

• For medium zziness, hold the button down for approx. 2 seconds.

• For extra-zzy water, keep the carbonator button pressed down until you can hear a clear buzzing

sound (approx. 3 seconds).

• By repeating this procedure you can add even more zziness to your water.

4. Cleaning the sodaONE soda maker

and the bottle

To ensure your soda maker gives you years of satisfaction, regular cleaning

of the carbonator and the bottle is recommended. Clean using only mild

dishwashing liquid, lukewarm water and, if necessary, a bottle brush.

Before using the brush, make sure it is suitable for cleaning plastic bottles

and will not leave any scratches. The bottle is not designed to withstand high temperatures (over +40°

Celsius), which means it is not dishwasher safe. As a result of the carbonation process, excess water may

accumulate in the drip tray. Please ensure the drip tray is regularly emptied and cleaned.

5. Troubleshooting

Problem Potential solution

Only a small amount of CO2, or none at all, reaches

the water bottle.

Make sure that you fully press down the

carbonator button.

Keep the carbonator button pressed down until

you hear a clear buzzing sound (2-3 seconds).

Do not release the button until you hear the

buzzing sound.

Check if the CO2 cylinder is properly screwed

in.

The cylinder has run out of CO2 and needs

replacing

Droplets of water are visible on the cylinder slot. Try to screw in the CO2 cylinder slightly more

tightly.

CO2 is escaping, but I am not pressing the carbonator

button. Remove the cylinder. Check if there is a black

rubber gasket inside the cylinder bracket and

if it is properly centred. If the rubber gasket

is missing, please contact BRITA customer

service.

The cylinder gets extremely cold / freezes up.

6. Important information

Disposal

The packaging is made from recyclable material and can be disposed of with household

waste-paper recycling.

Kindly dispose of the bottles in the general waste collection.

The soda maker can be disposed of as bulky waste, or at communal recycling centres.

BRITA CO2 cylinders can be disposed at communal recycling centres.

Please comply with the respective local requirements.

im Handumdrehen frisches Leitungswasser in Sprudelwasser. Selbst zu Sprudeln ist gut für die Umwelt,

einfach und günstig. Außerdem können Sie nun individuell bestimmen, wie viel Sprudel Ihr Wasser haben

soll. Mit einem BRITA CO2 Zylinder können Sie bis zu 60 Liter Wasser sprudeln. Die genaue Menge variiert

und hängt von Ihrem individuellen Sprudelgrad ab. Der Wassersprudler sodaONE wird aus hochwertigen

Materialien gefertigt und regelmäßig auf Produktsicherheit und Qualität getestet. Da Wassersprudler unter

hohem Gasdruck betrieben werden, müssen die vorgegebenen Sicherheitshinweise eingehalten werden.

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch

Der Wassersprudler ist ausschließlich für den privaten Gebrauch vorgesehen und darf nur von

erwachsenen Personen verwendet werden. Er ist ausschließlich dazu vorgesehen, Trinkwasser ohne

weitere Zusätze mit Kohlensäure zu versetzen. Andere Getränke wie Softdrinks, Säfte, alkoholische

Getränke oder Wässer mit Zusätzen wie Sirups oder Brausetabletten dürfen nicht aufgesprudelt werden.

Jede über die bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung hinausgehende oder andersartige Benutzung gilt als

Fehlgebrauch. Für hieraus entstandene Schäden übernimmt BRITA keine Haftung.

2. Sicherheitshinweise

Was kann ich sprudeln?

Der Wassersprudler darf nur mit Trinkwasser verwendet werden, das von den Wasserwerken bereitgestellt

wird und somit die gesetzlichen Anforderungen an die Trinkwasserqualität erfüllt. Für ein noch besseres

Geschmackserlebnis können Sie natürlich auch BRITA geltertes Wasser zum Aufsprudeln verwenden.

Wasser ist ein verderbliches Lebensmittel und als solches sollten Sie es innerhalb von zwei Tagen

verbrauchen. Im Falle einer behördlichen Aufforderung zum Abkochen des Leitungswassers, müssen Sie

das Wasser vor dem Sprudeln abkochen! Nach dem Abkochen muss das Wasser abgekühlen, bevor Sie

es in die Flasche füllen. Sprudeln Sie ausschließlich stilles Leitungswasser! Andere Getränke, wie z.B.

Säfte, Softdrinks oder mit Sirup versetztes Leitungswasser können zu Schäden am Gerät oder Personen

führen.

Bitte verwenden Sie ausschließlich originale BRITA sodaONE PET-Flaschen mit dem sodaONE

Wassersprudler. Flaschen anderer Hersteller sind nicht kompatibel, weshalb die Verwendung ein

Sicherheitsrisiko darstellt. Dies gilt insbesondere für Glasaschen, unabhängig vom Hersteller.

Die BRITA sodaONE Flasche besteht aus hochwertigem PET Kunststoff mit Edelstahlelementen. Sie ist

BPA-frei und speziell für den BRITA Wassersprudler konzipiert.

• Vor dem ersten Gebrauch und nach jeder Nutzung von Hand und ausschließlich mit einem milden

Spülmittel reinigen.

• Bei der Verwendung von Bürsten achten Sie darauf, dass diese für das Reinigen von Kunststoffaschen

geeignet sind und keine Kratzer hinterlassen.

• Nicht spülmaschinengeeignet!

• Die Flasche ist nur für Temperaturen zwischen +5°C und +40°C stabil.

• Legen Sie die Flasche auch nicht in ein Gefrierfach.

• Untersuchen Sie vor jedem Gebrauch die sodaONE Flasche auf Risse oder Deformationen. Beschädigte

Flaschen dürfen nicht mehr verwendet werden!

• Beim Sprudeln entsteht in der Flasche hoher Druck, daher muss aus Sicherheitsgründen jede Flasche

spätestens 24 Monate nach der ersten Benutzung ausgetauscht werden.

• Um Geruchsbeeinträchtigungen zu vermeiden, lagern Sie die leere Flasche mit abgeschraubtem Deckel.

Gefahren durch CO2 vermeiden

WARNUNG!

CO2 ist ein farb- und geruchloses Gas. Bei hohen Konzentrationen und unzureichender Belüftung besteht

Erstickungsgefahr.

• Bei Verdacht einer erhöhten CO2-Konzentration im Raum belüften Sie den Aufstellungsort und verlassen

Sie anschließend den Gefahrenbereich.

• Führen Sie keine Veränderungen am CO2 Zylinder durch, wie. z.B. anstechen, etc.

• Beschädigte CO2 Zylinder dürfen nicht verwendet und müssen umgehend ausgetauscht werden!

• Der Druck in einem CO2 Zylinder kann bei unsachgemäßer Nutzung zu schweren Verletzungen bis hin

zum Tod führen.

• CO2 Zylinder können sowohl in senkrechter, als auch waagerechter Position gelagert werden, achten Sie

aber darauf, dass sie nicht wegrollen oder herunterfallen können.

Aus Sicherheitsgründen darf der Zylinder niemals mit dem Ventil nach vorne auf den Boden aufschlagen,

um eine Beschädigung zu vermeiden, die ein potenzielles Gasleck verursachen könnte.

• Während des Betriebs sollen die CO2 Zylinder immer aufrecht stehen.

• Setzen Sie volle CO2 Zylinder niemals direkter Sonneneinstrahlung oder Temperaturen über +50 °C aus.

• Bewahren Sie sowohl volle als auch leere CO2 Zylinder außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.

• Der BRITA sodaONE Wassersprudler kann mit handelsüblichen 425g CO2 Zylindern betrieben werden,

es wird jedoch empfohlen, original BRITA CO2 Zylinder zu verwenden.

• Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall größere oder kleinere CO2 Zylinder.

• CO2 Zylinder können nach dem Gebrauch sehr kalt sein. Bitte warten Sie 10 Minuten nach der letzten

Benutzung, bevor Sie den Zylinder wechseln.

• Verwenden Sie den Wassersprudler nur mit gefüllten Wasseraschen! Füllen Sie nie CO2 in eine leere

Flasche.

• Befüllen Sie den CO2 Zylinder niemals selbst.

3. Verwendung

Suchen Sie für den BRITA Wassersprudler einen geeigneten Platz auf einer achen und stabilen

Oberäche, fern von externen Wärmequellen oder offenen Flammen, wie z.B. Herd oder Ofen.

Verwenden Sie den Wassersprudler nur in aufrechter Position.

Installation des CO2 Zylinders

• Schrauben Sie die Sprudeldüse in das dafür vorgesehene Gewinde des Wassersprudlers.

• Entnehmen Sie das Ablaufgitter und legen Sie den Wassersprudler auf die Seite.

•

Entfernen Sie die Versiegelung des Zylinderkopfes und schrauben Sie die Verschlusskappe vom Ventil ab.

• Schieben Sie vorsichtig den Zylinder von unten in das System.

• Sobald der Zylinder am Ende anstößt, drehen Sie ihn im Uhrzeigersinn ein.

• Drehen Sie nicht zu fest, da ansonsten Schäden am System oder am Zylinder entstehen können.

• Bringen Sie den Wassersprudler wieder in eine aufrechte Position und setzen Sie das Ablaufgitter ein.

Zum Entfernen des leeren Zylinders für den Austausch gehen Sie genauso vor wie beim ersten Einsetzen,

drehen Sie jedoch den Zylinder entgegen des Uhrzeigersinns heraus.

Jetzt wird gesprudelt!

1. Spülen Sie die Flasche vor der ersten Benutzung mit einem milden Spülmittel und lauwarmen Wasser

von Hand aus. Die Flasche ist nicht spülmaschinengeeignet!

2. Befüllen Sie die Flasche innerhalb den beiden Markierungen „Min“ und „Max“ mit kaltem Leitungswasser.

Eine Überfüllung der Flasche führt zu überlaufendem Wasser.

Für ein noch besseres Sprudelergebnis füllen Sie die Flasche wie beschrieben mit Wasser und stellen Sie

diese für eine Weile in den Kühlschrank bevor Sie sprudeln

3. Schrauben Sie die befüllte Flasche sicher in den Wassersprudler.

4. Drücken Sie den Sprudelknopf vollständig nach unten. Nach etwa 2-3 Sekunden hören Sie ein

deutliches Summen.

5. Lassen Sie den Sprudelknopf los damit der überschüssige Druck entweichen kann.

6. Schrauben Sie die Flasche vorsichtig vom Wassersprudler ab und genießen Sie Ihr frisch gesprudeltes

Wasser.

Individueller Sprudelgrad

Mit dem BRITA sodaONE Wassersprudler können Sie Ihr Wasser individuell sprudeln:

• Durch kurzes Drücken (ca. 1 Sekunde) des Sprudelknopfes erhalten Sie leicht perliges Wasser.

• Für einen mittleren Sprudelgrad halten Sie den Knopf ca. 2 Sekunden gedrückt.

• Stark gesprudeltes Wasser erhalten Sie, wenn Sie den Sprudelknopf gedrückt halten, bis ein deutliches

Summen zu hören ist (ca. 3 Sekunden).

• Durch Wiederholen des Vorgangs können Sie den Sprudelgrad des Wassers noch steigern.

4. Reinigung des sodaONE Sprudlers und der

Flasche

Damit Sie lange Freude an Ihrem Wasserprudler haben, reinigen Sie ihn

und die Flasche regelmäßig. Hierfür verwenden Sie auschließlich ein mildes

Spülmittel, lauwarmes Wasser und gegebenenfalls eine Flaschenbürste.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Bürste für das Reinigen von Kunststoffaschen

geeignet ist und keine Kratzer hinterlässt. Die Flasche ist bei hohen Temperaturen (über +40°C) nicht

formstabil und daher nicht spülmaschinengeeignet. Durch das Sprudeln kann es dazu kommen, dass sich

überschüssiges Wasser in der Auffangschale sammelt. Bitte entleeren und reinigen Sie die Auffangschale

regelmäßig.

5. Fehlerbehebung

Problem Mögliche Lösung

Es kommt nur wenig oder kein CO2 in der

Wasserasche an.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie den Sprudelknopf

komplett nach unten drücken.

Halten Sie den Sprudelknopf so lange

gedrückt, bis Sie ein deutliches Summen hören

(2-3 Sekunden). Lassen Sie den Knopf nicht

los, bevor das Summen zu hören ist.

Kontrollieren Sie, ob der CO2 Zylinder korrekt

eingeschraubt ist.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie einen vollen

Zylinder verwenden.

Im Zylindereinschub sind Wassertropfen zu sehen. Versuchen Sie, den CO2 Zylinder etwas fester

anzuschrauben.

CO2 entweicht, obwohl ich nicht den Sprudelknopf

drücke. Entfernen Sie den Zylinder. Kontrollieren Sie,

ob sich in der Zylinderhalterung eine schwarze

Gummidichtung bendet und mittig sitzt. Fehlt

die Gummidichtung, kontakieren Sie bitte den

BRITA Kundenservice.

Der Zylinder wird extrem kalt / friert ein.

Entsorgung

Die Verpackung besteht aus recyclebarem Material und kann im Papiermüll bzw. der gelben Tonne

entsorgt werden.

Die Flaschen entsorgen Sie bitte über den Restmüll.

Den Wassersprudler können Sie über den Sperrmüll oder bei Wertstoffhöfen entsorgen.

Bitte beachten Sie die jeweiligen örtlichen Vorgaben.

Originale BRITA CO2 Zylinder können Sie entweder bei Wertstoffhöfen entsorgen, oder kostenfrei an

uns zurücksenden und dem Kreislauf wieder zuführen. Hierfür wenden Sie sich bitte direkt an unseren

1. Introduction

Merci d’avoir acheté une machine à eau pétillante BRITA. Elle vous permet de transformer instantanément

l’eau potable ou ltrée en eau pétillante. Gazéier son eau soi-même est facile, écologique et économique.

De plus, vous pouvez déterminer le niveau de gazéication souhaité. Un cylindre de CO2 BRITA vous

donnera jusqu’à 60 l d’eau pétillante. La quantité exacte varie en fonction du degré de gazéication choisi.

La machine à eau pétillante sodaONE, en matériaux de qualité supérieure, subit régulièrement des tests

de sécurité et de qualité. Les machines à eau pétillante étant soumis à une pression de gaz élevée, il est

important de bien suivre les consignes de sécurité. Veuillez lire ces consignes attentivement avant de

mettre l’appareil en service.

Domaine d’utilisation

La machine à eau pétillante est exclusivement réservée à un usage personnel et ne doit être utilisée que

par un adulte. Elle est uniquement prévue pour l’ajout de gaz carbonique (ou de CO2) dans l’eau potable,

à l’exclusion de tout autre additif. Les autres boissons ne doivent pas être gazéiées, par exemple les

boissons avec ou sans alcool et l’eau additionnée de sirop ou de pastilles effervescentes. Toute utilisation

différente ou allant au-delà de l’utilisation prévue est considérée comme une utilisation non conforme.

BRITA décline toute responsabilité pour tout dommage en résultant.

2. Consignes de sécurité

Que puis-je gazéier ?

La machine à eau pétillante ne doit être utilisée qu’avec de l’eau du robinet potable et conforme aux

exigences réglementaires de qualité de l’eau. Pour un goût optimal et une protection de votre appareil,

nous recommandons de ltrer l’eau du robinet avec un ltre à eau BRITA avant de la gazéier ! L’eau étant

une denrée alimentaire périssable, elle doit être consommée sous deux jours. Si la législation exige de

faire bouillir l’eau du robinet, vous devez la faire bouillir avant de la gazéier ! Une fois l’eau bouillie, vous

devez la laisser refroidir avant de remplir la bouteille. Gazéiez uniquement de l’eau potable plate ! Les

autres boissons, comme les jus, les boissons sans alcool ou l’eau du robinet additionnée de sirop, peuvent

endommager l’appareil ou être inaptes à la consommation.

Bouteille

Veuillez seulement utiliser les bouteilles originales BRITA sodaONE en PET avec la machine à eau

pétillante sodaONE. Les bouteilles d’autres fabricants ne sont pas compatibles et peuvent donc présenter

un risque pour la sécurité. Ceci s’applique en particulier à l’utilisation de bouteilles en verre, quel que soit

le fabricant.

La bouteille du BRITA sodaONE est en PET de qualité supérieure avec des éléments en acier inoxydable.

Sans bisphénol A, elle est spéciquement conçue pour la machine à eau pétillante BRITA.

• Avant la première utilisation et après chaque utilisation, lavez cette dernière à la main et exclusivement

avec un liquide vaisselle doux.

• Si vous utilisez un goupillon, veillez à ce qu’il soit adapté au nettoyage de bouteilles en plastique

et ne les raye pas.

• Non lavable au lave-vaisselle !

• La bouteille ne conserve sa forme qu’à des températures entre +5 °C à +40 °C.

• Ne mettez jamais la bouteille au freezer ou au congélateur.

• Avant chaque utilisation, examinez votre bouteille sodaONE pour vérier qu’elle ne présente aucune

ssure ni déformation. Si la bouteille est endommagée, ne l’utilisez plus !

• Lors de la gazéication, la bouteille est soumise à une forte pression. Ainsi et pour des raisons de

sécurité, chaque bouteille doit être remplacée au bout de 24 mois maximum.

• Lorsqu’elle est vide, laissez toujours la bouteille ouverte pour éviter la formation d’odeurs.
