Atención

Al instalar el equipo de aire acondicionado en el techo se

debe proteger la parte superior de la cabina con un paño o

manta protectora para evitar posibles arañazos. Al instalar

Slim en el techo hay que tener en cuenta que, normalmente,

las cabinas que vienen provistas de escotilla, tienen una

estructura suciente para soportar el peso del equipo. Sin

embargo, cuando no ocurra así y sea necesario realizar

corte en el techo o incluso si en el caso de llevar escotilla el

material no es lo sucientemente resistente (caso de techo

de bra, plástico, etc...) es el instalador el que debe decidir,

bajo su responsabilidad, sobre la necesidad de reforzar

el techo para evitar posibles deformaciones, roturas,

entradas de agua, etc... habilitando los medios para que

esto no ocurra.

Atención

Si durante el montaje el equipo se inclina o se abate

la cabina con el equipo montado, se deberá esperar

un mínimo de 60 minutos, desde que el quipo quede

horizontal, antes de ponerlo en marcha.

En vehículos en los que la conexión eléctrica se

realice a baterías adicionales independientes de las de

arranque del vehículo, es opcional, la conguración

de la electrónica a nuevos parámetros de corte de

batería (ver página 9).

Recomendaciones

Para el montaje

• Antes de iniciar el montaje leer las instrucciones y

seguirlas durante el proceso de instalación.

• Usar las herramientas adecuadas para cada operación.

Electricidad

• Desconectar la llave de contacto.

• Desconectar la batería antes de empezar el montaje.

• Asegurar el conexionado de los componentes

eléctricos, vericando su correcto encaje.

En vehículos que incorporen spoiler es necesario

desmontar éste y eliminar barra delantera (A)

antes de comenzar la instalación.

!

Desmontar escotilla y los elementos de jación

y entregar éstos al cliente. Atención: dejar

cubrecantos original (*).

EXTERIOR CABINA:

Posicionar el Slim en el hueco de la escotilla sobre

cubrecantos original y encajando centradores en

el hueco de la escotilla.

Quitar (4) tornillos del panel interior de

distribución de aire y dejar éste sujeto de los

cables.

Colocar soportes de jación por debajo del

tapizado con arandela plana, arandela grower y

tornillo M8/125x50 y apretar, hasta hacer tope

con los hexágonos de la base.

Volver a montar el panel interior de distribución de

aire en posición de origen apretando con par de

apriete 0,75±10% Nm.

Atención: Tener la precaución de que los cableados

no intereran en el ajuste del canalizador con la

base del equipo.

Conectar cableado de alimentación suministrado

con equipo y con cableado original situado bajo el

tapizado de la parte delantera , jar con soportes

con adhesivos y bridas.

Fijar consola con (4) tornillos allen 6/100x15 sobre

taladros originales.

¡Atención! esta operación se realiza después

de la conexión del cableado.

Marcar spoiler a medidas indicadas.

la marca realizada y efectuar corte.

En vehículos en los que la conexión eléctrica se realice a baterías adicionales independientes de las de

arranque del vehículo, es opcional, la conguración de la electrónica a nuevos parámetros de corte de

batería, según se indica a continuación.

!

Con el equipo apagado apretar simultáneamente los botones y

+

durante tres segundos hasta

que aparezca “Hi” en el display del panel de control haciendo referencia al corte de batería alto (22,8 V).

Una vez que aparezca “Hi” presionar la tecla

-

.

El display pasará a mostrat “Lo” haciendo referencia a corte de batería bajo (19 V). Pulsar tecla On/Off

para conrmar.

Para volver a conguración inicial repetir la operación 1, seleccionar “Hi” con tecla

+

y conrmar con

tecla On/Off .

Warning

When installing air conditioning equipment on roof, the

upper cabin part must be protected with a cloth or a

protective blanket to avoid possible scratches. When

installing Slim on roof, take into account that, normally,

cabins equipped with a hatch have a strong enough

structure to hold equipment weight. However, if it is not

the case and it is necessary to carry out a cut in the roof

or, although it has a hatch, the material is not resistant

enough (if roof is made of bre, plastic, etc...), it is the

installer who will have to decide, under his responsibility,

if it is necessary to reinforce the roof to avoid possible

deformations, breaks, water entries, etc., habilitating the

means required to stop it from occurring.

!

Warning

If the unit slants during assembly, wait for at least

60 minutes with the unit in horizontal position before

starting it up.

checking their correct tting.

If the vehicle is tted with a spoiler, take down the

spoiler and remove the front bar (A) before starting

installation.

!

Take down the hatch and the attachment elements,

and hand them over to the customer. Caution:

leave the original edgeband (*).

CABIN EXTERIOR:

Position the Slim in the hatch gap on the original

edgeband, tting the aligners in the hatch gap.

Remove (4) screws from the interior air

distribution panel and leave this supported by

the cables.

Position fastening mounts underneath the

upholstery with at washer, grower washer and

M8/125x50 screw, and tighten until they come up

against the hexagons of the base.

Reassemble the interior air distribution panel in

the original position, tightening with torque 0.75

Nm±10%.

Caution: Take care to position the wiring to ensure

it does not interfere with the duct unit adjustment

with the base of the unit.

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS ON CONNECTING

THE POWER SUPPLY CABLES

Connect the power cable supplied with the unit

and the original cable located underneath the front

upholstery; secure with mounts with adhesives

and anges.

Secure the console with (4) 6/100x15 Allen screws

on the original boreholes.

Caution! This operation is carried out after

connecting the cabling.

Mark the spoiler at the indicated measurements.

In vehicles in which the electrical connection is made to additional batteries which are independent from

the vehicle’s start-up, the conguration of the electronics to the new battery cut parameters is optional

(as indicated below).

!

With the unit off, press the and

+

buttons at the same time for three seconds, until “Hi” appears in

the control panel display, referring to the high battery cut (22.8 V).

Press the

-

key when “Hi” appears.

The display will show “Lo”, referring to the low battery cut (19 V). Press the On/Off key to conrm.

To return to the initial conguration, repeat operation 1, select “Hi” using the

+

key and conrm using

the On/Off

key.
