stehenden Hinweise zum Gebrauch und zur Pflege sorgfältig zu lesen.

1 Sicherheitshinweise
• Bevor Sie das Gerät an Ihre Stromversorgung anschließen, achten Sie darauf,
dass es ausgeschaltet ist und dass die auf dem Etikett angegebene elek-
trische Spannung mit der Ihres Stromnetzes übereinstimmt.
• Überprüfen Sie die Heizdecke vor jeder Anwendung sorgfältig, ob sie
Anzeichen von Abnutzung und/oder Beschädigung aufweist.
• Nehmen Sie sie nicht in Betrieb, wenn Sie Abnutzungen, Beschädigungen
oder Anzeichen von missbräuchlicher Nutzung an der Heizdecke, dem Schal-
ter oder den Kabeln feststellen, sondern retournieren Sie sie zum Lieferanten.
• Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, darf es nur durch Medisana, einen auto-
risierten Fachhändler oder durch eine entsprechend qualifizierte Person
ersetzt werden.
• Benutzen Sie die Heizdecke nur zu dem in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung
beschriebenen Zweck.
• Setzen Sie die Heizdecke nicht bei Kleinkindern, behinderten oder hilflosen
Personen sowie bei hitzeunempfindlichen Menschen ein.
• Kinder müssen bei der Benutzung der Decke überwacht werden, um sicher
zu stellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Die Heizdecke darf nicht gefaltet geknickt oder um eine Matratze herumge-
legt betrieben werden.
• Der Schalter und die Zuleitung dürfen während des Betriebes nicht auf oder
unter die Heizdecke gelegt oder in einer anderen Art und Weise abgedeckt
werden.
• Es dürfen keine Sicherheitsnadeln oder andere spitze oder scharfe Gegen-
stände an ihr angebracht oder in sie hinein gestochen werden.
• Betreiben Sie die Heizdecke niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
• Das Gerät ist nur für den Gebrauch im privaten Haushalt bestimmt und darf
nicht in Krankenhäusern verwendet werden.
• Greifen Sie nicht nach einer Heizdecke, die ins Wasser gefallen ist. Ziehen
Sie sofort den Netzstecker.
• Benutzen Sie die Heizdecke nicht in feuchtem Zustand und in feuchter
Umgebung. Die Heizdecke darf erst wieder verwendet werden, wenn sie
vollständig getrocknet ist.
• Schalter und Zuleitungen dürfen keinerlei Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt werden.
• Halten Sie das Netzkabel von heißen Oberflächen fern.
• Tragen, ziehen oder drehen Sie die Heizdecke nie am Netzkabel und klem-
men Sie das Kabel nicht ein.
• Reparieren Sie im Falle einer Beschädigung oder Störung die Heizdecke nicht
selbst. Eine Reparatur darf nur von einem autorisierten Fachhändler oder
einer entsprechend qualifizierten Person durchgeführt werden.
• Die Heizdecke darf nur mit dem dazugehörigen Bedienteil betrieben werden.
• Wenn Sie die Heizdecke aufbewahren, lassen Sie sie erst auskühlen, bevor
Sie sie zusammenfalten. Legen Sie während der Lagerung keine Gegenstän-
de auf die Heizdecke, um Knickungen zu vermeiden.
• Sollten Sie gesundheitliche Bedenken haben, sprechen Sie vor dem Ge-
brauch der Heizdecke mit Ihrem Arzt.
• Sollten Sie über längere Zeit Schmerzen in den Muskeln oder Gelenken emp-
finden, dann informieren Sie bitte Ihren Arzt darüber. Länger anhaltende

Schmerzen könnten Symptome für eine ernsthafte Erkrankung sein.
• Sollten Sie die Anwendung als unangenehm oder schmerzhaft empfinden,
brechen Sie diese sofort ab.
Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob das Gerät vollständig ist und keinerlei Beschädi-
gung aufweist. Im Zweifelsfalle nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb und sen-
den Sie es an eine Servicestelle.
Zum Lieferumfang gehören:
• 1 MEDISANA Kuschel-Heizdecke HDM mit Bedienteil
• 1 Gebrauchsanweisung
Verpackungen sind wiederverwendbar oder können dem Rohstoffkreislauf
zurückgeführt werden. Bitte entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigtes Ver-
packungsmaterial ordnungsgemäß. Sollten Sie beim Auspacken einen Trans-
portschaden bemerken, setzen Sie sich bitte sofort mit Ihrem Händler in
Verbindung.
WARNUNG
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verpackungsfolien nicht in die
Hände von Kindern gelangen. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!
Mit der MEDISANA Kuschel-Heizdecke HDM können Sie den gesamten Kör-
per sanft erwärmen und entspannen. Kuscheln Sie sich unter die extra weiche
Wärmezudecke und fördern Sie so Ihr Wohlbefinden. Die Heizdecke ist mit
einer elektrischen Temperaturkontrolle ausgestattet, die entsprechend der ge-
wählten Schalterstufe (1-2-3-4) die eingestellte Wärmezufuhr präzise reguliert.
Die beiden Außenlagen der insgesamt dreilagigen Decke bestehen aus flau-
schigem Microfaser-Fleece (100 % Polyester). Dieses pflegeleichte Material und
das abnehmbare Bedienteil ermöglichen die Maschinenwäsche bis 30° im
Schonwaschgang.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose und schieben Sie den Schiebe-
schalter von Position 0 auf Position 1. Die Betriebskontrollleuchte leuchtet rot
auf. Sie werden eine allmähliche Erwärmung der Heizdecke verspüren. Wenn
Sie eine höhere Temperatur wünschen, schieben Sie den Schalter weiter auf die
nächste Position 2 oder 3 bzw. bis auf die maximale Wärmestufe in Position 4.
Wenn die Heizdecke für Ihr Empfinden zu stark erwärmt ist, schieben Sie den
Schalter zurück auf eine niedrigere Position.
Um das Gerät auszuschalten, schieben Sie den Schalter zurück auf Position 0.
Das Erlöschen der roten Betriebskontrollleuchte signalisiert, dass das Gerät aus-
geschaltet ist.
Ziehen Sie danach den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
Die Heizdecke ist so konzipiert, dass die Stufen 1 und 2 für den Dauerbetrieb
ausgelegt sind. Schieben Sie den Schalter auf Position 1 oder 2, wenn Sie
das Gerät im Dauerbetrieb nutzen möchten. Das Gerät ist mit einem Über-
hitzungsschutz ausgestattet. Nach ca. 10 Stunden Dauerbetrieb schaltet sich
die Heizdecke automatisch ab. Um sie wieder einzuschalten, bewegen Sie den
Schiebeschalter in die Position 0 und dann wieder auf die gewünschte
Heizstufe. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie die Heiz-
decke nicht mehr benutzen wollen.

• Bevor Sie die Heizdecke reinigen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen Sie
sie abkühlen.
• Entfernen Sie das Bedienteil von der Heizdecke, indem Sie die Steckvorrich-
tung an der Unterseite trennen.
• Die Heizdecke dürfen Sie bei 30 Grad im Schonwaschgang in der Maschine
waschen. Das Bedienteil dürfen Sie nicht ins Wasser tauchen, da keinerlei
Feuchtigkeit eindringen darf.
• Legen Sie die Heizdecke zum Trocknen flach auf eine Feuchtigkeit aufneh-
mende Unterlage. Wenn die Heizdecke vollkommen trocken ist, verbinden
Sie das Bedienteil wieder korrekt mit der Heizdecke. Die Heizdecke darf nur
mit dem dazugehörigen Bedienteil betrieben werden.
• Wenn Sie die Heizdecke aufbewahren, lassen Sie sie erst auskühlen, bevor
Sie sie zusammenfalten. Bewahren Sie die Heizdecke an einem sauberen und
trockenen Platz auf. Legen Sie während der Lagerung keine Gegenstände
auf die Heizdecke, um Knickungen zu vermeiden.
Dieses Gerät darf nicht zusammen mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Jeder Verbraucher ist verpflichtet, alle elektrischen oder elektronischen
Geräte, egal, ob sie Schadstoffe enthalten oder nicht, bei einer Sammelstelle
seiner Stadt oder im Handel abzugeben, damit sie einer umweltschonenden
Entsorgung zugeführt werden können.
Wenden Sie sich hinsichtlich der Entsorgung an Ihre Kommunalbehörde oder
Ihren Händler.

Bitte wenden Sie sich im Garantiefall an Ihr Fachgeschäft oder direkt an die
Servicestelle. Sollten Sie das Gerät einschicken müssen, geben Sie bitte den
Defekt an und legen eine Kopie der Kaufquittung bei.
Es gelten dabei die folgenden Garantiebedingungen:
1. Auf MEDISANA Produkte wird ab Verkaufsdatum eine Garantie für drei
Jahre gewährt. Das Verkaufsdatum ist im Garantiefall durch die Kauf-
quittung oder Rechnung nachzuweisen.
2. Mängel infolge von Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern werden innerhalb der
Garantiezeit kostenlos beseitigt.
3. Durch eine Garantieleistung tritt keine Verlängerung der Garantiezeit,
weder für das Gerät noch für ausgewechselte Bauteile, ein.
4. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:
a. alle Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, z.B. durch Nicht-

• Before connecting the appliance to your power supply, please ensure that
the supply voltage stated on the rating plate is compatible with your mains
supply.
• Check the heating blanket carefully before each use, if you notice wear or
damage
• Do not use if you notice wear, damage or signs of improper use on the
electric blanket, the switch or the cables. Return it to the supplier.
• If the power supply cable is damaged, it may only be replaced by Medisana,
an authorised dealer or by qualified personnel.
• Do not use the heating blanket with small children or persons who are dis-
abled, in need of care or insensitive to heat.
• Children must be supervised when using the blanket to ensure that they do
not play with it.
• The heating blanket may not be operated while folded, creased or placed
around the mattress.
• During use, the control switch and lead must not be placed on or under the
heating blanket or be otherwise covered in any way.
• No safety pins or other pointed or sharp objects should be attached to the
heating blanket or stuck into it.
• Never leave the heating blanket on when unattended.
• The device is only for private use and is not to be used in hospitals.
• Never handle a heating blanket that has fallen into water. Unplug it from the
mains outlet immediately.
• Do not use the heating blanket in a damp or humid environment or if the
heating blanket itself is damp. You may only use it again once it is com-
pletely dry.
• Never expose the control switch or leads to moisture of any kind.
• Keep the mains lead away from hot surfaces.
• Never carry, pull or twist the heating blanket by the mains lead and do not
allow the lead to become tangled or snagged.
• Do not repair the heating blanket yourself in the event of damage or mal-
function. Only have repairs carried out by an authorized specialist dealer or
suitably qualified personnel.
• The heating blanket may only be operated with its special control unit.
• When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding. When
storing, do not place any objects on the electric blanket to prevent buckling.
• Should you have any concerns about health issues, consult your doctor be-
fore using the heating blanket.
• Should you experience persistent pains in the muscles and joints, please

The packaging can be reused or recycled. Please dispose properly of any
packaging material no longer required.
If you notice any transport damage during unpacking, please contact your
dealer without delay.

Please ensure that polybag packing is kept away from reach
of children! Risk of suffocation!
With the MEDISANA heating blanket HDM you can gently warm and relax
your whole body. Snuggle up under the extra-soft heating blanket for a
pleasant, cosy well-being. The heating blanket features an electric tempera-
ture control that regulates precisely the warmth-supply according to the
chosen setting (1-2-3-4). The two outer layers of the three-layer blanket are
made of fluffy microfibre fleece. This easy-care material and the detachable
control unit mean that the blanket can be washed at up to 30° on a gentle pro-
gramme.
Plug the unit into the mains outlet and move the slider control from position 0
to position 1. The indicator light will light up in red. After a few minutes you
will be able to feel the heating blanket getting noticeably warmer. If you re-
quire a higher temperature setting, move the switch to the next positions, 2 or
3, or to the maximum heat setting, position 4. Should the heating blanket get
too warm for you, slide the switch back to a lower setting.
To switch off the device, return the switch to position 0. The red power LED
will go out, indicating that the unit is switched off. Now unplug the heating
blanket from the mains outlet.
The heating blanket is designed in such a way that settings 1 and 2 are
suitable for continuous use. Push the switch to position 1 or 2 if you want to
use it in continuous operation. The appliance is equipped with an anti-over-
heating device. The heating blanket will switch off automatically after approx.
10 hours of continuous use. To switch it back on, first move the switch back to
position 0 then back to the desired heat setting.
Unplug the heating blanket from the mains outlet when it is no longer in use.

• Before washing the heating blanket, unplug it from the mains outlet and let
it cool down.
• Unplug the control switch unit from the heating blanket using the connec-
tor on the underside.
• You may machine-wash the heating blanket at 30 degrees on a delicate
cycle. Never immerse the control switch unit in water as moisture must not
be allowed to get into the unit.
• To dry, lay the heating blanket flat on a moisture-absorbent
towel or mat.
When the
heating blanket
is completely dry, it should be reconnected
to the
control switch unit in the correct manner. The heating blanket may only be
operated with its special control unit.
• When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding. Store the
heating blanket in a clean and dry place. When storing, do not place any
objects on the electric blanket to prevent buckling.
This product must not be disposed together with the domestic waste.
All users are obliged to hand in all electrical or electronic devices, regardless
of whether or not they contain toxic substances, at a municipal or commer-
cial collection point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally
acceptable manner.
Consult your municipal authority or your dealer for information about disposal.

Warranty and
repair terms
Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the
warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your
receipt and state what the defect is.
The following warranty terms apply:
1. The warranty period for MEDISANA products is three years from date of
purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be
proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.
2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge
within the warranty period.
3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the
unit or for the replacement parts.
4. The following is excluded under the warranty:
a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g. non-
observance of the user instructions.
b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or
unauthorised third parties.
c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to
the consumer or during transport to the service centre.
d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear.
5. Liability for direct or indirect consequential losses caused by the unit are
excluded even if the damage to the unit is accepted as a warranty claim.

• Avant de raccorder l’appareil à l’alimentation électrique, veillez à ce que la
tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique corresponde à celle de l’ali-
mentation secteur.
• Vérifiez avant chaque utilisation si la couverture chauffante présente des
signes d’usure et/ou des dommages.
• Ne les mettez pas en marche si vous constatez qu'elles présentent des
signes d'usure, d'endommagement ou d'utilisation incorrecte au niveau de
la couverture chauffante, de l'interrupteur ou des câbles, mais retournez-les
au fournisseur.
• Si le câble secteur est endommagé, seul Medisana, un revendeur autorisé ou
une personne qualifiée peut le remplacer.
•
Ne pas utiliser la couverture chauffante pour des enfants en bas âge, des per-
sonnes handicapées ou dépendantes, ainsi que celles sensibles à la chaleur.
• Ne laissez pas les enfants sans surveillance pendant l’utilisation de la couver-
ture afin de vous assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.
• La couverture chauffante ne doit pas être utilisée lorsqu’elle est pliée,
froissée ou enroulée autour d’un matelas.
• Pendant l'utilisation, ne pas placer l'interrupteur et le câble sur ou sous la

ture vous-même. Les réparations doivent exclusivement être exécutées par
un revendeur agréé ou un technicien qualifié.
• La couverture chauffante doit être utilisée uniquement avec l’unité de com-
mande comprise dans la livraison.
• Laissez refroidir la couverture chauffante avant de la plier pour la ranger.
Quand elle est rangée, ne posez pas d'objets sur la couverture chauffante
afin d'éviter les pliures.
• Si vous avez des questions concernant votre santé, consultez votre médecin

Les emballages sont réutilisables ou peuvent être recyclés afin de récupérer les
matières premières. Respectez les règles de protection de l’environnement
lorsque vous jetez les emballages dont vous n’avez plus besoin. Si vous remar-
quez lors du déballage un dommage survenu durant le transport, contactez
immédiatement votre revendeur.

Veillez à garder les films d’emballage hors de portée des enfants.

La couverture chauffante HDM MEDISANA permet de réchauffer progressive-
ment et de décontracter le corps. Glissez-vous sous la couverture chauffante
extra douce : votre bien-être en sera amélioré. La couverture chauffante est
dotée d’un dispositif électrique de contrôle de la température régulant précisé-
ment l’amenée de chaleur en fonction de la position sélectionnée (1-2-3-4). Les
deux couches extérieures de la couverture à trois couches sont en polaire
microfibre souple (100 % polyester). Le matériau facile d’entretien et l’élément
de commande amovible permettent un lavage en machine (linge délicat)
jusqu’à 30°.
Brancher la fiche secteur dans une prise de courant et commuter l'interrupteur
à coulisse de la position 0 à la position 1. Le témoin d'utilisation rouge
s'allume. De la chaleur se dégage progressivement de la couverture chauf-
fante. Si vous désirez une température supérieure, positionnez l'interrupteur
sur position suivante 2 ou 3, etc. jusqu'à la chaleur maximale à la position 4.
Si la couverture chauffante devient trop chaude à votre goût, ramenez l'inter-
rupteur sur un réglage plus faible.
Pour éteindre l'appareil, ramenez l'interrupteur à la position 0. L'extinction de
l'appareil est signalée par l'extinction du témoin d'utilisation rouge. Débran-
chez la fiche secteur de la prise de courant après l'utilisation.
La couverture chauffante est conçue de telle sorte que les positions 1 et 2 sont
prévues pour le fonctionnement permanent. Mettez le commutateur en position
1 ou 2 lorsque vous souhaitez utiliser l’appareil en fonctionnement permanent.
L’appareil est équipé d’une protection contre la surchauffe. La couverture
chauffante s'éteint automatiquement après environ 10 heures d'utilisation
continue. Pour la rallumer, com-muter l'interrupteur sur la position 0 puis le
ramener sur la position de réglage désirée. Débrancher la fiche secteur de la
prise de courant après l'utilisation de la couverture chauffante.
