Uudella käyttäjällä on
Nämä ohjeet on annettu turvallisuussyistä.
laitteella.
Laitteen ominaisuuksien muuttaminen millään
tavoin on vaarallista.
Ennen kuin ryhdyt mihinkään puhdistus- tai
huoltotöihin, kytke laite pois toiminnasta ja
virtajohto irti virtalähteestä.
Laite on raskas. Noudata varovaisuutta laitetta
siirtäessäsi.
Suoraan pakastimesta otetut erittäin kylmät
tuotteet voivat aiheuttaa paleltumisvammoja.
Noudata erityistä varovaisuutta laitetta
käsitellessäsi, jotta jäähdytysyksikkö ei
vahingoittuisi.Vahingoittumisesta voi seurata
nestevuotoja.
Laitetta ei saa asentaa kaasulieden tai
lämpöpatterien läheisyyteen.
Laitetta ei tulisi asentaa paikkaan, jossa
siihen kohdistuu suora auringonvalo.
Laitteen takaosaan tulee jättää riittävästi tilaa
tuuletusta varten. Jäähdytyspiirin
vahingoittuminen on estettävä.
Älä käytä jäähdytyslaitteiden sisällä muita
sähkölaitteita (esim. jäätelökonetta).
Huolto/korjaus
Laitteen asennustyö tulee antaa valtuutetun
henkilön tai sähköalan ammattilaisen tehtäväksi.
Laite tulee huollattaa valtuutetussa
huoltoliikkeessä ja varaosina tulee käyttää vain
alkuperäisiä varaosia.
Älä milloinkaan yritä korjata laitetta itse.
Asiantuntemattoman henkilön tekemät korjaukset
voivat aiheuttaa henkilövahinkoja tai pahentaa
vikaa entisestään. Ota yhteys valtuutettuun
huoltoliikkeeseen ja vaadi aina, että laitteessa
ytetään alkuperäisiä varaosia.
Laitteen jäähdytysyksikkö sisältää hiilivetyjä.
Tästä syystä huolto ja jälleentäyttö on annettava
ainoastaan valtuutetun huoltohenkilökunnan
tehtäväksi.
Älä koskaan käytä metallisia esineitä laitteen
puhdistamiseen, sillä ne voivat vaurioittaa laitetta.
yttö
Kotitalouskäyttöön tarkoitetut jääkaapit ja
pakastimet on tarkoitettu ainoastaan
elintarvikkeiden säilytykseen.
Laitteen suorituskyky on parhaimmillaan silloin,
kun ympäristön lämpötila on +18°C ja +43°C
välillä (Luokka T); +18°C ja +38°C välillä (Luokka
ST); +16°C ja +32°C välillä (Luokka N); +10°C e
+32°C (Luokka SN). Laitteen luokka on osoitettu
sarjanumerokyltissä (sijoitettu vihannestilan
sivulla olevaan kennoon).
Huomio: Noudata seuraavia ohjeita, mikäli
ympäristön lämpötila on luokalle osoitettujen
rajojen ulkopuolella: kun ympäristön lämpötila
putoaa minimiarvon alapuolelle pakastelokeron
säilytyslämpötilaa ei voida taata.Tämän vuoksi
suosittelemme pakastelokerossa olevien
elintarvikkeiden käyttämistä mahdollisimman
nopeasti.
Pakastettua ruokaa ei tulisi pakastaa uudelleen
sen jälkeen, kun se on kerran sulanut.
Noudata tarkasti valmistajan antamia
säilytysohjeita. Tarkasta ohjeet tuotteen
pakkauksesta.
Laitteen sisäpinta muodostuu kanavista, joiden
läpi jäähdytysaine virtaa. Jos tällaiseen kanavaan
puhkaistaan reikä, laite vaurioituu
korjauskelvottomaksi ja säilytettävä ruoka
tuhoutuu. ÄLÄ KÄYTÄ TERÄVIÄ ESINEITÄ
huurteen tai jään poistamiseen. Huurretta
voidaan kaapia pois laitteen mukana tulevaa
muovilastaa käyttäen. Kiinteää jäätä ei saa
missään tapauksessa yrittää väkisin irrottaa
laitteen sisäpinnasta, vaan sen on annettava
sulaa pois. Ks. sulatusohjeet.
Älä laita hiilihappopitoisia tai kuohuvia juomia
pakastimeen, sillä jäätymisen aiheuttama paine
voi räjäyttää pullon ja vaurioittaa laitetta.
Älä käytä mekaanisia apuvälineitä äläkää yritä

nopeuttaa sulamista keinotekoisesti muuten kuin
valmistajan suosittelemilla menetelmillä.
Asennus
Normaalissa käytössä laitteen takana sijaitsevat
kondensaattori ja kompressori kuumenevat
huomattavasti. Turvallisuussyistä on
huolehdittava ao. kuvan mukaisesta
vähimmäistuuletuksesta.
HUOMIO: huolehdi, että tuuletusaukkojen
edessä ei ole ilman virtausta haittaavia esteitä
yttäjän tulee huolehtia, että laitetta ei ole
asetettu sähköjohdon päälle.
Tärkeää: jos sähköjohto vahingoittuu, se tulee
vaihtaa valmistajalta tai huoltopalvelusta
saatavaan erikoisjohtoon tai -sarjaan.
Laitteen tietyt osat kuumenevat huomattavasti.
Varmista aina riittävä tuuletus, sillä tämän
laiminlyöminen voi aiheuttaa osien rikkoutumisen
ja säilytettävän ruuan tuhoutumisen. Ks.
asennusohjeet.
Kuumenevia osia ei tule jättää avoimiksi. Mikäli
mahdollista, laitteen takaosa tulee asettaa seinää
kohti.
Mikäli laitetta on kuljetettu vaakasuorassa
asennossa, saattaa moottorin kompressorin öljyä
valua jäähdytysainekiertoon. Kuljetuksen jälkeen
tulisi odottaa vähintään kaksi tuntia ennen
laitteen kytkemistä käyttöön, jotta öljy valuisi
takaisin kompressoriin.
Ympäristönsuojelu
Laitteen jäähdytyspiiri ja eristeet eivät sisällä
otsonikerrosta vahingoittavia kaasuja. Laitetta
ei saa hävittää talousjätteen mukana. Varo
vahingoittamasta jäähdytysyksikköä,
erityisesti takana olevan lauhduttimen
ympäristöä. Pyydä paikallisilta viranomaisilta
lisätietoja alueen kaatopaikoista.Tässä
laitteessa käytetyt materiaalit, jotka on
merkitty symbolilla ovat kierrätettäviä.

MAINTENANCE
Periods of non-operation
When the appliance is not in use for long periods,
take the following precautions:
Turn off the appliance;
remove all food;
defrost and clean the interior and all accessories;
leave the door ajar to allow air to circulate to prevent
unpleasant smells.
Interior light
The light bulb inside the refrigerator compartment
can be reached as shown in figure.
If the light does not come on when the door is open,
check that it is screwed into place properly. If it still
does not light up, change the bulb.
The rating is shown on the light bulb cover.
Periodic cleaning
Clean the inside with warm water and bicarbonate of
soda. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Clean the condenser (black grill) and the
compressor at the back of the appliance with a
brush or a vacuum cleaner. This operstion will
improve the performance of the appliance and save
electricity consumption.
Defrosting
Frost is automatically eliminated from the evaporator
of the refrigerator compartment every time the motor
compressor stops, during normal use. The defrost
water drains out through a trough into a special
container at the back of the appliance, over the
motor compressor, where it evaporates.
It is important to periodically clean the defrost
water drain hole in the middle of the refrigerator
compartment channel to prevent the water
overflowing and dripping onto the food inside.
Use the special cleaner provided, which you will
find already inserted into the drain hole.
The freezer compartment, however, will become
progressively covered with frost. This should be
removed with the special plastic scraper provided,
whenever the thickness of the frost exceeds 4 mm.
During this operation it is not necessary to switch off
the power supply or to remove the foodstuffs.
However, when the ice becomes very thick on the
inner liner, complete defrosting should be carried out
and it is advisable to carry out this operation when
the appliance is empty.
D037
Unplug the appliance before carrying out
any maintenance operation.
Warning

Hints for storage of frozen food
To obtain the best performance from this appliance,
you should:
make sure that the commercially frozen
foodstuffs were adequately stored by the retailer;
be sure that frozen foodstuffs are transferred
from the foodstore to the freezer in the shortest
possible time;
not open the door frequently or leave it open
longer than absolutely necessary.
Once defrosted, food deteriorates rapidly and
cannot be refrozen.
Do not exceed the storage period indicated by
the food manufacturer.
The numbers indicate storage times in months for the
appropriate types of frozen goods.Whether the
upper or lower value of the indicated storage time is
valid depends on the quality of the foods and pre-
treating before freezing;
do not put carbonated liquids (fizzy drinks,
etc.) in the freezer compartment as they may
burst.
Hints for freezing
To help you make the most of the freezing process,
here are some important hints:
the maximum quantity of food which can be
frozen in 24 hrs. is shown on the rating plate;
the freezing process takes 24 hours. No further
food to be frozen should be added during this
period;
only freeze top quality, fresh and thoroughly
cleaned, foodstuffs;
prepare food in small portions to enable it to be
rapidly and completely frozen and to make it
possible subsequently to thaw only the quantity
required;
wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene
and make sure that the packages are airtight;
do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to touch food
which is already frozen, thus avoiding a rise in
temperature of the latter;
lean foods store better and longer than fatty
ones; salt reduces the storage life of food;
water ices, if consumed immediately after
removal from the freezer compartment, can
possibly cause the skin to be freeze burnt;
it is advisable to show the freezing-in date on
each individual pack to enable you to keep tab of
the storage time;
the symbols on the drawers show different types of
frozen goods.
HINTS
Hints for refrigeration
Useful hints:
Meat (all types): wrap in polythene bags and place
on the glass shelf above the vegetable drawer.
For safety, store in this way only one or two days
at the most.
Cooked foods, cold dishes, etc..: these should be
covered and may be placed on any shelf.
Fruit and vegetables: these should be thoroughly
cleaned and placed in the special drawer(s)
provided.
Butter and cheese: these should be placed in
special airtight containers or wrapped in aluminium
foil or polythene bags to exclude as much air as
possible.
Milk bottles: these should have a cap and should
be stored in the bottle rack on the door.
Bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic, if not
packed, must not be kept in the refrigerator.
22
Pakasteruokien säilyttäminen
Ottaessasi laitteen käyttöön, sekä pakastimen oltua
poissa käytöstä, aseta elintarvikkeet pakastimeen,
kun FROSTMATIC-toiminto on ollut toiminnassa
vähintään kahden tunnin ajan, tämän jälkeen kytke
toiminto pois päältä.
Tärkeää
Jos pakastin on pois päältä esim. sähkökatkon
vuoksi yli teknisten tietojen taulukon kohdassa
“lämpötilan kohoamisaika” annetun arvon, käytä
elintarvikkeet mahdollisimman pian tai valmista
ne välittömästi ja pakasta uudelleen
(jäähtyneinä).
Sulatus
Syväjäädytetyt tai pakastetut elintarvikkeet voidaan
ennen käyttöä sulattaa jääkaapissa tai
huoneenlämmössä riippuen sulatukseen
ytettävissä olevasta ajasta.
Pienet annokset voidaan valmistaa ruoaksi
sulattamatta, suoraan pakastimesta: tällöin
valmistusaika luonnollisesti pitenee.
Jääpalojen valmistus
Laitteessa on yksi tai useampi astia jääpalojen
valmistukseen.
Täytä astiat vedellä ja laita ne pakastimeen.
Älä käytä metalliesineitä astioiden irrottamiseen
pakastimesta.
Hälytyksen kuittauspainike
Jos lämpötila pakastimessa nousee liian korkeaksi,
syttyy hälytyksen rnerkkivalo (O) ja äänimerkki
kuuluu. Kun lämpötila pakastimessa on laskenut
riittävästi, lakkaa hälytyksen äänimerklki
kuulumasta, mutta hälytyksen merkkivalo vilkkuu
edelleen. Painamalla hälytyksen kuittauspainilketta,
näkyy lämpötilanäytössä korkein lämpötila, joka on
ollut pakastimessa.
Tuoreiden ruokien pakastaminen
Pakastin on sopiva tuoreiden ruokien
pakastamiseen ja pakasteiden pitkäaikaiseen
säilyttämiseen.
Tuoreiden ruokien pakastamiseksi kytke
FROSTMATIC-toiminto toimintaan vähintään 24
tuntia aikaisemmin.
Aseta pakastettavat ruoat ylimmälle pakastimen
hyllylle.
35
Storage of frozen food
When first starting-up or after a period out of use,
before putting the products in the compartment let
the appliance run for at least two hours on the fast
frost setting, then push again the Super-frost button.
Important
In the event of accidental defrosting, for example
due to a power failure, if the power has been off
for longer that the value shown in the technical
characteristics chart under “rising time”, the
defrosted food must be consumed quickly or
cooked immediately and then refrozen (after
cooling).
Thawing
Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to being used, can
be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or at
room temperature, depending on the time available
for this operation.
Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen, directly
from the freezer: in this case, cooking will take longer.
Ice-cube production
This appliance is equipped with one or more trays
for the production of ice-cubes. Fill these trays with
water, then put them in the freezer compartment.
Do not use metallic instruments to remove the
trays from the freezer.
O. Alarm reset light
P. Alarm reset button
In the event of an abnormal temperature rise inside
the freezer (e.g. power cut) warning light (O) will
start to flash and a buzzer will sound.
After the temperature has returned to normal, the
warning light (O) will continue to flash, although the
buzzer has stopped.

OHJEITA
Ohjeita pakastusta varten
Hyviä neuvoja pakastamiseen:
Pakasta ainoastaan tuoreita, puhdistettuja ja kor-
kealastuisia elintarvikkeita.
Jaa elintarvikkeet annoksiin ennen pakastusta.
Tällöin pakastaminen käy nopeammin, eikä
tarvitse sulattaa suuria määriä kerrallaan.
Vähärasvainen liha säilyy paremmin kuin suolattu
tai rasvainen liha.
Eiintarvikkeet säilyvät parhaiten ilmatiiviissä
alumiini-tai muovipakkauksissa. Pakastimeen ei
koskaan saa panna hiilihappopitoisia juomia tai
suljettuja pulloja (räjähdysvaara), eikä lämpimiä
ruokia. Kannellisia astioita ei saa täyttää reunoja
myöten.
Suositamme pakastuspäivän kirjoittamista
pakasteisiin tai joissakin pakastuskoreissa oleviin
etiketteihin. Tällöin säilytysaikoja on helpompi
pitää silmällä.
Jos pakastimessa olevat elintarvikkeet sulavat
sähkökatkon aikana, ne on valmistettava heti ja
pakastettava sen jälkeen uudelleen. Jos
sähkökatko kestää vain hetken (korkeintaan 8
tuntia), ja pakastin on täynnä, pakastimen eristys
estää pakasteiden sulamisen.
Hyviä neuvoja pakasteiden ostoon ja
säilytykseen:
Pakasteislin merkittyä viimeistä käyttöpäivää ei
saa ylittää.
Tarkista pakasteiden laatu ennen pakastimeen
panemista.
Pakasteet on tuotava llikkeestä suoraan kotiin ja
pakastimeen hyvin paketoituina.
Kaappia ei tule avata sähkökatkon aikana.
Osittain sulaneita pakasteita ei saa pakastaa
uudelleen, vaan ne on käytettävä 24 tunnin
kuluessa.
Ohjeita jääkaappisäilytystä varten
Makujen tarttuminen ruoasta toiseen vältetään
suojaamalla ruoat esim. alumiini- tai
muovikelmulla.
ytännöllisiä neuvoja:
Raaka liha, joka on suojattu muovikelmulla,
säilytetään lasihyllyllä.
Siten liha säilyy korkeintaan 1-2 päivää.
Keitetty liha, leikkeleet jne on peitettävä. Ne
voidaan säilyttää millä hyllyllä tahansa.
Hedelmät ja vihannekset: säilytetään
puhdistuksen ja pesun jälkeen
vihanneslaatikossa.
Voi ja juustot: säilytetään ilmatiiviissä astioissa tai
alumiini-tai muovikelmuissa/muovipusseissa.
Maito: säilytetään hyvin suljetuissa pakkauksissa
oven sisäpuolella,sijaitsevilla hyllyillä.
Laatikoissa olevat symbolit esittävät erilaisia
pakasteita.
Luvut kertovat, kuinka monta kuukautta eri
pakasteita on mahdollista säilyttää. Annettujen
säilytysaikojen ylempi tai alempi arvo on
voimassa sen mukaan, millainen elintarvikkeen
laatu ja esivalmistus ennen sen pakastamista on.

HUOLTO JA HOITO
Tärkeää
Tämän laitteen jäähdytysyksikkö sisältää
hiilivetyjä.Tästä syystä ainoastaan valtuutettu
ammattilainen saa suorittaa laitteen huollon ja
yttämisen.
Säännöllinen puhdistus
Puhdista jääkaapin ulko- ja sisäpinnat haalealla
vedellä ja miedolla kasitiskiaineella.
Jääkaapin takaosa puhdistetaan kerran vuodessa
joko harjalla tai imurilla. Siten säästyy energiaa ja
kaapin toiminta paranee.
Kun kaappi on pois käytöstä
Mikäli jääkaapin toiminta katkaistaan pidemmäksi
ajaksi kuten esim. Ioma-ajaksi, on toimittava
seuraavasti:
Irrotta pistotulppa seinärasiasta;
Poista kaikki elintarvikkeet kaapista;
Puhdista sisävaippa;
Jätä ovi auki, jotta ilma pääsee vapaasti kiertämään
estäen epämiellyttävän hajun tai homeen
syntymisen.
Sulatus
Jääkaapin höyrystimeen muodostuva huurrekerros
sulaa automaattisesti kompressorin pysähtyessä.
Sulamisvesi valuu kourua pitkin kaapin takaosassa
olevaan sulamisvesiastiaan ja haihtuu ilmaan. On
hyvä puhdistaa sulamisvesikourun keskellä oleva
aukko säännöllisesti, jolloin sulamisvesi ei pääse
valumaan yli ja tippumaan ruokatavaroille.
Puhdistukseen käytetään sulamisvesiaukossa
olevaa puhdistuspuikkoa.
Pakastusosan seinämiin muodostunut huurrekerros
on poistettava kun se on 4 mm:n paksuinen. Huurre
poistetaan muovilastalla. Laitetta ei tarvitse
huurteenpoiston aikana kytkeä pois päältä eikä
tyhjentää.
Huurrekerrosta ei tule poistaa metalliesineillä,
koska se voi vahingoittaa laitetta pysyvästi.
Mikäli pakastusosan sisäseinämiin on päässyt
muodostumaan paksu jääkerros, kaappi on
sulatettava kokonaan seuraavalla tavalla:
Termostaatin väännin säädetään asentoon «O»
tai pistoke vedetään irti pistorasiasta.
Pakastusosa tyhjennetään pakasteista, jotka
kääritään sanomalehteen ja laitetaan
D037
Valaistus
Irrota lampun suojus kuvan mukaisesti.
Mikäli valo ei jostain syystä toimi kun
avaat oven, niin tarkista että se on hyvin
ruuvattu paikalleen; jos vika ei korjaannu,
niin vaihda se samantehoisella lampulla
(max. teho on ilmoitettu valon
heijastinpaneelissa).

Positioning the door shelves
To permit storage of food packages of various sizes,
the door shelves can be placed at different heights.
To make these adjustments proceed as follows:
Gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the arrows
until it comes free, then reposition as required.
Air recycling
The refrigerator compartment is equipped with a
special D.A.C.(Dynamic Air Cooling) fan which can
be turned on with the switch ( see fig. 1). The green
light, when on, means that the fan is working.
It is suggested that the fan (D.A.C.) be used when
the ambient temperature exceeds 25°C

mahdollisimman kylmään paikkaan.
Ovi pidetään auki ja muovilasta asetetaan sille
tarkoitettuun paikkaan, jolloin sulaınisvesi pääsee
valumaan lastan alle laitettuun astiaan.
Pakastusosa kuivataan huolella sisäpuolelta
sulatuksen jälkeen. Muovilasta laitetaan
paikalleen.
Termostaatin väännin säädetään haluttuun

possible that the oil contained in the compressor
flows in the refrigerant circuit. It is advisable to
wait at least two hours before connecting the
appliance to allow the oil to flow back in the
compressor.
There are working parts in this product which
heat up. Always ensure that there is adequate
ventilation as a failure to do this will result in
component failure and possible food loss. See
installation instructions.
Parts which heat up should not be exposed.
Wherever possible the back of the product should
be against a wall.
