GLOSSARY OF TERMS

Build Platform 

3D45 to build objects. The build

Welcome to the world of Dremel Digilab. Our mission is to mentor you through the digital fabrication process and





Dremel 3D45 brings new functionality, such as network connectivity and remote printing. To get started with 3D45

follow the initial setup routine on the touch screen to connect and register the printer. You can create a user



downloads, and remote printing services powered by Dremel3D cloud based software. Once setup and registration

is complete you are ready to start building.

1. To complete initial setup, tap “Start” when prompted

on the initial setup screen. If you decline this setup

you can always setup network later.

2. If you choose “Start”, 3D45 will automatically

connect to your ethernet (if plugged into router skip

to step 5) or search for available wireless networks.

3. Choose your wireless network using the

touchscreen. Use the arrows to scroll through the

list of available wireless networks. Tap on your

network name to accept it.

4. Enter your wireless network password and tap

“Done”.

5. Write down the token displayed at the bottom of

the touchscreen. This token will be used to link

your printer to your Dremel account.

6. Visit Dremel3d.com and follow the prompts to



registration.

Dremels cloud-based platform allows you to connect to

your 3D45 from any mobile device. In the platform, you

can view models and projects in the Dremel 3D library,

send, pause and cancel builds, monitor build status,





NOTE: Ensure the gears inside of the extruder

have properly grabbed the lament before you

nish the lament change. You will feel a tug and

see the lament start to feed itself into the extruder

when this occurs.

NOTE: Your Dremel 3D45 was tested by building

objects before leaving the factory. These test objects

may have been made with a different lament color

than you are using. Therefore, a small amount of

lament may be remaining in the extruder.
