1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Congratulations on your new RMS MINI Logger. The MINI Logger has an internal data memory for
13,000 measured values and transmits these values continuously to the gateway and RMS soft-
ware by radio. These short instructions describe the main functions of the device. Please read this
manual carefully. For detailed information visit www.rotronic.com.

3 INSTALLATION AND SETUP
Remove the black rubber cap and pull out the PCB board. Insert the battery by following the polar-
ization signs. After the battery is inserted, the MINI-Logger can then be setup.
Warning: Only use RMS-BAT.
3.1 CONNECTION OF EXTERNAL ELEMENTS
(RMS-MLOG-T10-XXX, RMS-MADC-XXX-V/A, RMS-MDI-XXX)
Connect the external element to the terminal. The rubber cap has a hole as lead through (to be
pierced with a sharp object).
3.2 POSITIONING OF THE MINI LOGGER / MECHANICAL INSTALLATION
Choose a representative position for the installation of the Logger. Avoid disruptive inuences such
as sunlight, heating elements, etc. The MINI Logger can be mounted easily with the wall bracket.
Screws, and anchor are provided with each MINI Logger.
3.3 INTEGRATION OF THE MINI LOGGER
Log into RMS.
Select

Herzliche Gratulation zum Kauf des RMS MINI-Loggers. Der MINI-Logger verfügt über einen in-
ternen Datenspeicher für 13’000 Messwerten und übermittelt diese kontinuierlich per Funk an
das Gateway und die RMS-Software. Diese Kurzbedienungsanleitung beschreibt die wichtigsten

3 INSTALLATION UND EINSTELLUNGEN
Entfernen sie die Plastikkappe und ziehen den Print heraus. Setzen sie die Batterie unter Beach-
tung der richtigen Polarität in die Halterung ein. Der MINI-Logger beginnt sofort zu arbeiten.
Achtung: Nur RMS-BAT benutzten
3.1 ANSCHLIESSEN DER EXTERNEN ELEMENTE
(RMS-MLOG-T10-XXX, RMS-MADC-XXX-V/A, RMS-MDI-XXX)
Die externen Elemente werden an den Schraubklemmen angeschlossen . Mit einem spitzen Gegen-
stand wird ein Loch für die Durchführung des Kabels in der Plastikkappe gemacht.
3.2 POSITIONIERUNG DES MINI-LOGGERS
Achten Sie auf einen repräsentativen Ort für die Messung. Vermeiden Sie störende Ein üsse wie
Sonneneinstrahlung, Heizelemente etc. Der MINI-Logger lässt sich einfach mit der Wandhalterung
befestigen. Jeder MINI-Logger wird mit den dafür benötigten Schrauben und Dübel ausgeliefert.
3.3 EINBINDEN DES MINI-LOGGERS
Loggen Sie sich im RMS ein.
Wählen Sie im Menüpunkt
Extras > Setup >
Geräte > Neu > Funkgerät hinzufügen.
Folgen Sie den Anweisungen der Software.

4 MAINTENANCE
The battery needs to be replaced occasionally in dependence on the logging interval. Rotronic fur-
ther recommends annual calibration of the device.
Battery change: Please wait 10s until you insert the new battery.

1 DESCRIPTION GÉNÉRALE
Toutes nos félicitations pour l’achat du mini logger RMS. Le mini logger dispose d’une mémoire de
données interne pour 13’000 valeurs de mesure, qu’il transmet en continu, par radio, au gateway
et au logiciel RMS. Ce mode d’emploi abrégé se limite à la description des fonctions essentielles
de cet appareil. Veuillez lire ce manuel attentivement. Vous trouverez des documents complémen-
taires en ligne, sur notre site www.rotronic.com.

3 INSTALLATION ET RÉGLAGES
Retirez le capuchon de plastique et sortez le circuit imprimé. Placez la pile sur son support en
respectant la polarité. Le mini logger commence immédiatement à fonctionner.
Avertissement : Utiliser uniquement RMS-BAT
3.1 RACCORDEMENT D’ÉLÉMENTS EXTERNES
(RMS-MLOG-T10-XXX, RMS-MADC-XXX-V/A, RMS-MDI-XXX)
Les éléments externes sont raccordés sur la borne à vis. un trou est fait sur le capuchon de plas-
tique, à l’aide d’un objet pointu, pour le passage du câble.
3.2 POSITIONNEMENT DU MINI LOGGER
Veillez à l’installer à un endroit représentatif de l’environnement à mesurer. Évitez les in uences
perturbatrices comme le rayonnement solaire direct, les éléments de chauffage, etc. Le mini logger
se monte facilement sur son support mural. Chaque mini logger est livré avec les vis et chevilles
nécessaires à son montage.
3.3 INTÉGRATION DU MINI LOGGER
Connectez-vous au RMS.
Choisissez dans le menu l’élément
Extras
> Setup > Appareil > Nouveau > Ajouter un
périphérique radio.
Suivez les instructions du logiciel.

Rimuovere il coperchio di plastica ed estrarre il PCB. Inserire la batteria nel suo supporto rispettan-
do la corretta polarità. Il MINI Logger inizierà a funzionare immediatamente.
Attenzione: Utilizzare solo RMS-BAT.
3.1 CONNESSIONE DEGLI ELEMENTI ESTERNI
(RMS-MLOG-T10-XXX, RMS-MADC-XXX-V/A, RMS-MDI-XXX)
Connettere gli elementi esterni alle morsettiere. Con un oggetto appuntito praticare un foro per il
passaggio del cavo attraverso il coperchio di plastica.
3.2 POSIZIONAMENTO DEL MINI LOGGER
Fare attenzione a scegliere un luogo rappresentativo per la misurazione. Evitare condizioni di di-
sturbo come irraggiamento solare, elementi riscaldanti, ecc.. Il MINI Logger può essere ssato
semplicemente con il supporto a parete, dato che ogni MINI Logger ha in dotazione gli appositi viti
e tassello.
3.3 ASSOCIAZIONE DEL MINI LOGGER
Effettuare il login in RMS.
Selezionare nel menu la voce
Extra > Con-
gurazione > Strumenti > Nuovo > Aggiungere

Seguire le istruzioni del software.

4 ENTRETIEN
La batterie doit être changée sporadiquement, selon l’intervalle d’enregistrement. Rotronic
conseille, de plus, un étalonnage annuel de l’appareil.
Changement de pile : Veuillez attendre 10 secondes jusqu'à ce que vous insériez la nouvelle pile.

7 DÉCLARATION FCC (915 MHZ)
Cet instrument a été testé et respecte les valeurs limites pour un appareil numérique de la
classe A, selon la partie 15 des règles FCC. Ces règles sont destinées à offrir une protection
adéquate, lorsque l’appareil est utilisé dans un environnement commercial. Cet appareil
produit, utilise et émet des rayonnements à haute fréquence et peut avoir une inuence

4 MANUTENZIONE
A seconda dell'intervallo log, la batteria dovrà essere eventualmente sostituita. Rotronic consiglia
inoltre una calibrazione annuale dello strumento.
Sostituzione della batteria: attendere 10 secondi prima di inserire la nuova batteria.
