DESCRIZIONE
I modelli C49/6-EN e C49/12-EN per montaggio sporgente a sotto, sono
realizzati in ABS autoestinguente UL94-V0 di colore bianco e sono consigliati
in tutti gli ambienti al coperto quando sia richiesta un’ottima riproduzione
sonora; il modello C49/12-EN è adatto per l’installazione in ambienti esterni
o umidi (IP 33C). Entrambi i diusori sono stati appositamente sviluppati
per essere impiegati in sistemi d’emergenza e d’evacuazione (VES): è
infatti dotato di morsettiera ceramica e di fusibile termico, che garantiscono
la salvaguardia della linea di collegamento altoparlanti nel caso in cui un
possibile incendio metta fuori uso uno o più diusori ad essa collegati.
DESCRIPTION
The C49/6-EN and C49/12-EN speaker units for protruded ceiling-mounting
are made of white self-extinguishing ABS according to UL94-V0; these units
are recommended for all covered places when excellent sound reproduction
with an interesting price/quality ratio is required. The C49/12-EN model is
recommended for all outdoor or moist places (IP 33C). Both speaker units
have been developed specically for use in emergency and evacuation
systems (VES) and have its own ceramic terminal strip and thermal fuse.
These ensure the protection of the line connecting the loudspeakers if a re
puts one or more of the speaker units connected to it out of use.

INSTALLLAZIONE E CONNESSIONI
Tutti i diusori devono essere collegati in derivazione alla linea
a tensione costante. Fare riferimento, per la tensione e per la
potenza che si desidera impiegare, ai collegamenti riportati nella
tabella posta sul traslatore. Vericare, in ogni caso, che la potenza
assorbita dai diusori collegati alla linea sia uguale o inferiore alla
potenza nominale erogabile dall’amplicatore utilizzato.
INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS
All the speakers must be branched to the constant-voltage line. For
the voltage and the power you wish to use, reference should be
made to the connections shown in the table. Make sure, in any case,
that the power absorbed by the speakers connected to the line is
equal or lower than the rated power that the ampli er being used is
capable of delivering.
• PROCEDURA DI MONTAGGIO
1. Rimuovere l’anello di copertura (A) dal corpo della plafoniera
facendo delicatamente leva con un piccolo giravite a lama
piatta nei forellini (B) (g.1).
2. Fissare il cestello (D) (g. 2) nella posizione voluta, a parete o
a sotto, utilizzando i fori (C).
3. Eettuare i collegamenti alla linea facendo riferimento a
quanto riportato sulla targhetta del traslatore.
4. Collegare l’altoparlante al trasformatore innestando i due
faston femmina (E) sui relativi terminali dell’altoparlante.
Porre attenzione, durante le fasi di collegamento, alle diverse
dimensioni tra i due faston.
5. Inserire il corpo centrale (I) nel cestello (D) facendo combaciare
i fori per le viti (H).
6. Avvitare le quattro viti (F) a corredo e riposizionare l’anello di
copertura (A) facendo in modo che i quattro piolini di ssaggio
(G) si incastrino nelle rispettive sedi.
• MOUNTING PROCEDURE
1. Remove the outer ring (A) from the body of the ceiling speaker
by levering it o gently with a small at-bladed screwdriver
inserted into the holes (B) (Fig. 1).
2. Secure the cage (D) (Fig. 2) in the required position, on a wall
or ceiling, using the holes (C).
3. Make the connections to the line, referring to the indications
provided on the label of the transformer.
4. Connect the loudspeaker to the transformer by tting the
two female fast-on (E) into their respective terminals on the
loudspeaker. While making the connection, pay attention to
the dierent sizes of the two fast-ons.
5. Insert the central body (I) into the cage (D), making sure that
the holes for the screws (H) match.
6. Crew in the four screws (F) included in the supply and put the
outer ring (A) back into place, making sure that the four xing
pegs (G) t into their respective seats.

WARRANTY
This product is warranted to be free from defects in raw materials and assembly.
The warranty period is governed by the applicable provisions of law. Paso will repair
the product covered by this warranty free of charge if it is faulty, provided the defect
has occurred during normal use. The warranty does not cover products that are
improperly used or installed, mechanically damaged or damaged by liquids or the
weather. If the product is found to be faulty, it must be sent to Paso free of charges
for shipment and return. This warranty does not include any others, either explicit
