DESCRIZIONE
I diusori a due vie Serie C97-EN, disponibili in tre tagli di potenza - 20, 30 e
40 W - sono caratterizzati da due altoparlanti e sono costruiti con corpo in ABS
5VB autoestinguente e griglia in metallo. Sono dotati di fusibile termico integrato
protetto, di trasformatore a 100 V per il collegamento tramite morsetto alle linee
a tensione costante e di commutatore a rotazione che consente di regolare
agevolmente la potenza in uscita. È inoltre disponibile il collegamento a bassa
impedenza (8 Ω). A corredo di tutti i modelli, è fornita una staa metallica a “C”
che ne consente la facile installazione a parete ed il pratico e veloce orientamento.
Questi diusori forniscono una resa sonora eccellente ed un’ottima intelligibilità
del parlato, oltre ad una potente riproduzione musicale. Ideali per l’installazione
in spazi ampi come scuole, hotel, aeroporti e sale conferenze.
I diusori della
serie C97-EN sono stati appositamente sviluppati per essere impiegati in
sistemi d’emergenza e d’evacuazione (VES): garantiscono la salvaguardia
della linea di collegamento altoparlanti nel caso in cui un possibile incendio
metta fuori uso uno o più diusori ad essa collegati.
DESCRIZIONE
The monitor speaker two-way C97-EN series, available in three power outputs - 20,
30 and 40 W - feature two loudspeakers and are constructed with self-extinguishing
5VB ABS body and metal grille. They are equipped with a protected integrated
thermal fuse, a 100 V transformer for connection via terminal to the 100V constant
voltage lines and a rotary switch which allows easy adjustment of the output power.
Low impedance connection (8 ohm) is also available. All models are supplied with
a “C” shaped metal bracket which allows easy installation on the wall and quick and
practical orientation. These speakers provide excellent sound performance and high
speech intelligibility, as well as powerful music reproduction. Ideal for application
in large spaces such as schools, hotels, airports, conference rooms and houses of
whorship. The loudspeakers of the C97-EN series have been specially developed
to be used in emergency and evacuation systems (VES): they guarantee the
safeguarding of the loudspeaker connection line in the event that a possible
re puts one or more loudspeakers out of use it connected.

L’installazione dei diusori acustici C97-EN dovrà essere eseguita
esclusivamente da personale qualicato nel pieno rispetto delle
regole e degli standard di sicurezza in vigore nel paese in cui avviene
l’installazione.
IMPORTANTI AVVERTENZE PER LA SICUREZZA
La linea diusori può avere una tensione sucientemente alta (es. 100V)
da costituire un rischio di folgorazione per le persone; non collegare mai
il diusore quando la linea diusori è in tensione.
• Assicurarsi che tutte le connessioni siano corrette e che la tensione
di ingresso (in un sistema a tensione costante) oppure l’impedenza
del diusore sia compatibile con le caratteristiche di uscita
dell’amplicatore.
• Nel caso che dal diusore provenga del fumo, togliere immediatamente
a tensione dalla linea diusori e poi scollegare il diusore.
• PASO S.p.A. declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni o lesioni
causati da supporti o strutture non sucientemente solide o da una
installazione non corretta.
• Per evitare fenomeni induttivi che diano luogo a ronzii o disturbi, le
linee diusori non devono essere canalizzate insieme ai conduttori
dell’energia elettrica, a cavi microfonici, a linee di segnale a basso
livello (amplicatori).
• Per l’assistenza tecnica rivolgersi a personale qualicato. L’assistenza
tecnica è necessaria nel caso in cui l’unità sia danneggiata, ad
esempio per rovesciamento di liquidi od oggetti caduti all’interno
dell’apparecchio, anomalie di funzionamento o cadute dell’apparecchio.
IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS
The loudspeaker line may have a suciently high voltage (e.g. 100V) to
constitute a risk of electrocution for people; never connect the loudspeaker
when the loudspeaker line is on.
• Make sure all connections are correct and that the input voltage (in a
constant voltage system) or speaker impedance is compatible with the
output characteristics of the amplier.
• If smoke comes from the speaker, immediately switch o the voltage
from the line and then unplug the speaker.
• PASO S.p.A. declines all responsibility for any damage or injury
caused by insuciently solid supports or structures or by incorrect
installation.
• To avoid inductive phenomena which give rise to hum or noise, the
loudspeaker lines must not be installed together with electrical energy
conductors, microphone cables, low-level signal lines (ampliers).
• For technical assistance, contact qualied personnel. Technical
assistance is required in the event that the unit is damaged, for example
by spilling liquids or objects falling into the device, malfunctioning or
dropping the device.
The installation of the C97-EN loudspeakers must be carried out
exclusively by qualied personnel in full compliance with the rules and
safety standards in force in the country where the installation takes place.

sicurezza.
• Pianicare ed eseguire ispezioni regolari e speciche per vericare

• When choosing the installation site, make sure that it is able to support
the weight of the speaker with a suitable safety factor.
• Plan and carry out regular and specic inspections to verify all the
parts that must guarantee the safety of the system over time.
• Never hang/cling on the speaker.
INSTALLAZIONE
1) Selezionare con cura l’area dove installare
i diusori* assicurandosi che la struttura sia
adeguata a supportare il peso del box.
2) Svitare i pomelli (A); ssare la staa a muro con
appropriate viti utilizzando tutti i fori di ssaggio
della stessa.
3) Posizionare il diusore tra i due bracci della staa
e ssarlo tramite i due pomelli precentemente
rimossi, scegliendo l’orientamento desiderato.
4) Una volta orientato il diusore nella posizione
desiderata, bloccarlo tramite serrando a fondo
i pomelli (A).
INSTALLATION
1) Carefully select the area where to install the
speakers* making sure that the structure is
adequate to support the weight of the box.
2) Unscrew the knobs (A) of the bracket; x the
bracket to the wall with appropriate screws
using all the xing holes of the same.
3) Position the speaker between the two arms
of the bracket and refix it using the two
previously removed knobs, choosing the
desired orientation.
4) Once the speaker has been oriented in the
desired position, lock it by fully tightening the
knobs (A).

CONNESSIONI
• Per il collegamento dei diusori serie C97-EN si raccomanda di
rivolgersi a tecnici qualicati.
• Per evitare il rischio di shock elettrico non collegare i diusori
all’amplicatore acceso.
• Controllare più volte tutte le connessioni prima di accendere
l’impianto, vericando l’assenza di cortocircuiti.
• Realizzare l’impianto in conformità con le norme vigenti in materia
di impianti elettrici.
• Utilizzare dei cavi con conduttori aventi una sezione adeguata in
considerazione della loro lunghezza e della potenza dei diusori.
• Per evitare fenomeni quali ronzii o disturbi che potrebbero causare
un malfunzionamento dell’impianto, non canalizzare insieme i
conduttori dell’energia elettrica e i cavi per i diusori.
• NON COLLEGARE GLI INGRESSI DEI DIFFUSORI A BASSA

CONNECTIONS
• For the connection of the C97-EN series loudspeakers, it is
recommended to contact qualied technicians.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not connect speakers when
the amplier in on.
• Check all the connections several times before turning on the
system, making sure there are no short circuits.
• Build the system in compliance with current regulations on electrical
systems.
• Use cables with conductors having an adequate section in
consideration of their length and the power of the speakers.
• To avoid phenomena such as hum or noise which may cause
malfunction of the system, do not install power leads and speaker
wires together.
• DO NOT CONNECT THE LOW IMPEDANCE SPEAKER INPUTS
(8Ω) TO A 100V CONSTANT VOLTAGE LINE.
Una volta eettuato il collegamento alla linea 100V utilizzando i
morsetti (B) e seguendo le indicazioni riportate nella gura sopra
riportata, selezionare la potenza d’uscita utilizzando l’apposita
manopola (C) posizionandola sulla vite dedicata con una rotazione.
Denita la potenza desiderata, rimuovere la manopola dalla vite
di selezione, al ne di evitare eventuali modiche accidentali.
Once the connection to the 100V line has been made using the
terminals (B) and following the instructions given on the gure above,
tap the output power by using the special tool (C) and place it on the
dedicated screw with a rotation. Once you have xed the output
power, remove the special tool from the screw to avoid further
manual unexpected operation.

WARRANTY
This product is warranted to be free from defects in raw materials and assembly.
The warranty period is governed by the applicable provisions of law. Paso will repair
the product covered by this warranty free of charge if it is faulty, provided the defect
