ISTRUZIONI PRIMA DELL’AVVIO
/ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING
1. Chiudere entrambe le valvole sul gruppo ma-
nometrico ruotando le manopole di bassa e
alta pressione in senso orario.
2. I manometri sono calibrati correttamente in
fabbrica prima della spedizione. Se è necessa-
ria la calibrazione, rimuovere il vetrino e inseri-
re un cacciavite a taglio nella vite di regolazio-
ne sulla faccia del manometro.
3. Collegare il tubo (rosso) alla porta di alta pres-
sione e il tubo (blu) alla porta di bassa pressio-
ne sul collettore.
1. Close both valves on the pressure gauge unit by
turning the low and high pressure knobs clock-
wise.
2. The pressure gauges are correctly calibrated at
the factory before shipment. If calibration is re-
quired, remove the window and insert a slotted
screwdriver into the adjustment screw on the
pressure gauge face.
3. Connect the (red) pipe to the high pressure inlet
and the (blue) pipe to the low pressure inlet on
the manifold.

Per diagnosticare correttamente il problema nel sistema R/AC, per prima cosa controllare le prestazioni com-
plessive del sistema. Controllare sia la pressione del sistema, sia le prove di tenuta. Il tuo gruppo manometrico
ti darà letture accurate della pressione del sistema.
NOTA: Assicurarsi che le valvole manuali sul gruppo manometrico siano chiuse. Indossare sempre
To correctly diagnose the problem in your R/AC system, first check the overall performance of the system. Check the
pressure of the system and perform the leak tests. Your pressure gauge unit will give you accurate readings of the
system pressure.

1. Rimuovere i tappi protettivi dalle porte del sistema. Controllare eventuali perdite dalle porte.
2. Collegare il tubo (blu) di bassa pressione al lato di aspirazione del compressore. Collegare il tubo (rosso) di
alta pressione al lato di scarico del compressore.
3. Se si usano adattatori, assicurarsi che siano completamente serrati e inseriti nella valvola di accesso. Il
mancato inserimento nella valvola impedirà il flusso del refrigerante.
4. Remove the protective plugs from the system doors. Check for leaks from the doors.
5. Connect the (blue) low pressure pipe to the suction side of the compressor. Connect the (red) high pressure pipe to
the drain side of the compressor.
6. If adapters are used, make sure that they are completely tightened and fully inserted into the access valve. Failure
to insert them into the valve will prevent the flow of refrigerant.
NOTE IMPORTANTI
• Un sistema che è stato aperto o un sistema con una bassa pressione del refrigerante dovuta a perdite, deve
essere svuotato completamente tramite riciclo e pompa a vuoto.
• Un sistema che è stato svuotato deve essere riparato, testato contro le perdite e svuotato di nuovo a 29”
Hg prima di essere caricato.
• Se si carica il liquido o il lato di alta pressione, usare solo la valvola dell’alta pressione sul gruppo
manometrico. Assicurarsi che la valvola di bassa pressione sia chiusa.
• Dopo la carica, testare il sistema accendendo il motore e azionare il sistema A/C con entrambe le valvole
del gruppo manometrico chiuse.
• Dopo il test, scollegare i tubi dal sistema e assicurarsi di usare una macchina di recupero/riciclaggio per
svuotare ogni traccia di refrigerante nei tubi o nel gruppo manometrico.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• A system that has been opened, or a system in which the pressure of the refrigerant is low due to leaks, must be
completely emptied by recycling and through the use of a vacuum pump.
• A system that has been emptied must be repaired, tested against leaks, and emptied again at 29” Hg before being
charged.
• When charging the liquid or the high-pressure side, use only the high pressure valve on the pressure gauge unit.
Make sure that the low pressure valve is closed.
• After charging, test the system by turning on the motor and operate the A/C system after closing both valves in
the pressure gauge unit.
• After testing, disconnect the pipes from the system and use a recovery/recycling machine to empty any traces of
refrigerant from the pipes or the pressure gauge unit.
